Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You Vol. 2 Ch. 99
Leon stared at the tiny nub of chocolate sticking out from between Rosvisser's lips, barely the size of a soybean, and couldn't help but swallow nervously.
It was so short that there was no way to avoid kissing her if he leaned in.
While kissing Rosvisser or holding hands when they were alone wasn’t an issue, doing it in front of their daughters was an entirely different matter. Leon’s face would turn beet red if they kissed in front of the kids.
But that smug look on Rosvisser’s face told him she didn’t mind at all.
In fact, she seed to be relishing in Leon’s awkward hesitation.
If he didn’t give up, he’d have to kiss her.
If he admitted defeat, he’d lose to Rosvisser in the ga.
No matter how it played out, the Queen would win, which was why she was so pleased.
Leon saw through her little sche, and after a mont of hesitation, he sighed and said, “I forfeit.”
Better to admit defeat than to kiss her in front of the girls—he wasn’t about to give them the idea that he was madly in love with their mother.
“Eh~ Co on, Dad! You gave up!” Moon pouted, her little tail swishing in frustration.
Even Noa seed surprised that the usually invincible Leon would admit defeat so easily.
Was kissing their mom in front of them really harder than defeating six Dragon Kings in a ten-second battle?
Luckily, Noa had a backup plan.
“Well, since you forfeited, Dad, you have to choose between a truth or a dare as your punishnt,” Noa said.
Leon, ever the good sport, replied, “I’ll go with truth.”
Sitting calmly on the grass, Rosvisser rested her chin in her hand, watching the interaction between her husband and their daughters. She didn’t really care whether Leon picked truth or dare—she’d left the decision in their daughters’ capable hands.
Besides, she knew she could always tease so secrets out of him later, like in the middle of the night when they were alone.
“I’ll ask! I’ll ask!” Moon imdiately raised her hand, bouncing with excitent. “Dad, when you and Mom—”
“Hold on, Second Sister!” Aurora quickly clamped her hand over Moon’s mouth before she could finish.
Moon blinked her big eyes. “Mmmf?”
Aurora turned her mischievous gaze on Leon. “Dad, how can a brave man like you, who fears nothing, choose the easy route of truth? If it were , I’d choose dare. But I guess I’m just a kid and don’t understand your deep thinking.”
Leon’s eye twitched slightly. Was his youngest really trying to challenge him with a reverse-psychology trick?
Did she really think he wouldn’t pick up on her aning?
He smirked internally. *Nice try, kiddo, but your little trick won’t work on .*
“Oh, sweetheart, I just chose truth because I wanted to get through the punishnt quickly so we could move on to the next round,” Leon explained.
Aurora raised an eyebrow. “Really, Dad? That’s the reason? I guess I was wrong to think you were scared of a little dare. Silly .”
Noa, playing along, added, “Yeah, I thought he was just afraid of taking the dare. I an, who knew our dad was so focused on efficiency? I’m so moved, I could cry.”
Moon, anwhile, looked around confused. “What are you guys talking about? Why does this feel weird?”
At this point, Leon was starting to squirm, feeling like he was being cornered. “Co on, you can’t really think I’m afraid of—”
“Oh, I think you’re afraid,” Rosvisser chid in with a smirk, delivering the final blow.
Leon shot her a glare.
Rosvisser: ╮(╯▽╰)╭
“I’m not afraid! Who said I’m afraid? A dare? Fine! I’ll take it!” Leon puffed up his chest, trying to salvage his pride.
Rosvisser discreetly flashed a victory sign to the girls, who nodded back in silent triumph.
Clearly, the "dare" tactic was always going to be the most effective way to trap their dad.
Leon, having fallen for the bait, boldly asked, “What’s the dare? Bring it on!”
“Dad, you don’t need to be so nervous. It’s really simple~” Noa said, her tone calm and collected. “Just kiss Mom.”
It was like a thunderclap. Leon froze.
*Seriously? Am I really dood to this fate no matter what I do?*
If he hadn’t forfeited, he’d have had to kiss her.
If he did forfeit, the dare still made him kiss her.
*Why is she so obsessed with kissing her in front of the kids?*
anwhile, Rosvisser remained calm as ever, though a slight blush crept across her cheeks. She wasn’t particularly opposed to so public displays of affection, especially if it helped maintain the family’s happy image.
The only one making a big deal out of it was Leon, who still got flustered even though they’d been together for ages.
If not for the girls' clever setup, he probably wouldn’t have the guts to kiss her in front of them.
“Can we… can we switch it to sothing else?” Leon tried to plead.
Aurora shook her head. “Nope. Dad, are you really too scared to do it?”
Before Leon could respond, Noa chid in, adding fuel to the fire. “The man I admire doesn’t even have the courage to kiss his own wife? How disappointing…”
“I can!” Leon burst out. “I’m not scared at all!”
Suddenly, Leon was struck by the realization that his daughters had entered a strange “rebellious phase,” sothing he ntally dubbed the “little dragoness phase.”
Especially now that Aurora had joined her two older sisters, their antics were becoming more and more daring.
Maybe he needed to rethink the whole “third child” idea. What if the next one ended up being even more of a troublemaker than Aurora? This house was chaotic enough as it was.
“Hurry, Dad!” Moon clapped her hands, chanting, “Kiss Mom! Kiss Mom!”
Leon’s face was beet red as he glanced at Rosvisser, who was watching him with an amused smile.
“I’m telling you, your dad is easily embarrassed,” she teased. “Even when we’re alone, he gets shy just holding my hand.”
“Lies! That’s a total lie! I’m super brave!” Leon quickly defended himself.
“Hmm... so why are you hesitating when our daughters just want to see you kiss ?” Rosvisser asked, her smile growing wider.
Her expression clearly said, *I’m teasing you, and you can’t do anything about it.*
*Great,* Leon thought bitterly. *I’ve got three mischievous little dragons and their queen pulling the strings.*
“I’m not hesitating. I was just worried you’d be upset,” he muttered.
“Why would I be upset? Go ahead, kiss .” Rosvisser leaned in slightly, closing her eyes.
“Co on, Dad, we even covered Aurora’s eyes for you!” Moon called out.
Aurora: ?
Moon had her hands over Aurora’s eyes, though she was peeking through her fingers to make sure she didn’t miss anything.
Leon sighed, took a deep breath, and then placed his hands on Rosvisser’s shoulders.
Her face was as beautiful as ever, and seeing it up close, his blush deepened even more.
*Why am I hesitating?* he scolded himself. *It’s just a kiss, and we’ve done this a million tis!*
He slowly leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.
Rosvisser tilted her head slightly, brushing her lips against his in a gentle, familiar motion.
It wasn’t a deep kiss—just a soft, tender one, appropriate for the mont.
“Okay, done! Are you satisfied now?” Leon asked, pulling away with a sigh of relief.
Moon was bouncing with excitent. “Satisfied! Satisfied! We’re going to have a new baby sister soon, I just know it!”
Aurora glanced at her overly excited second sister, wondering if she should break the news that kissing wasn’t actually how babies were made.
After a mont of thought, she decided against it.
Telling Moon would only make her sad.
But if she didn’t tell her, Moon would stay happy, eagerly anticipating a new sibling.
Their parents would be happier too, able to be affectionate without sneaking around.
And Aurora herself would get to enjoy all the mischief along the way.
So, in the end, keeping quiet would make everyone happy.
*Yes…* Aurora grinned to herself.
*I am the Silver Dragon Clan’s true goddess of mischief.*
