Leon didn’t want to cause any unnecessary misunderstandings, so he didn’t chat with Konstantin for long. After saying, “My child will definitely outshine yours,” the headmaster, Otlett, appeared in the academy square, giving Konstantin a perfect exit to speak with the headmaster and vice principal about pressing matters.

After leaving the rooftop two minutes apart, Leon walked through the crowd and spotted Rosvisser and Claudia chatting.

"Here to see Helena off, Senior?" Leon greeted warmly.

Claudia nodded, smiling. “I thought of letting her co alone but decided to try a new approach to family education. I’m learning from you and Rosvisser—I hope you’ll share so tips with soti.”

Leon laughed, brushing off the complint. “We don’t have any special thods; we just let things happen naturally.”

Rosvisser interjected, “So, Konstantin ca looking for you?”

Leon nodded. “Yes.”

“What did you talk about?” she asked curiously.

“Just about his clan’s children re-enrolling here. He’s taking this seriously, personally speaking with Headmaster Otlett about it.”

Rosvisser shrugged, “That’s quite the commitnt.”

Claudia chid in, “You borrowed the ghost lotus from to help Konstantin’s daughter recover. Did he ntion her?”

Leon nodded again, scratching his temple. “Yes, Hefei—Konstantin’s daughter—she’s doing better now. With the help of the Red Fla Clan’s alchemists, she’s gradually recovering.”

Leon seed like he had more to say but hesitated.

Rosvisser noticed, tilting her head. “You’re holding sothing back. I can tell from your face,” she said firmly.

Before Leon could respond, Claudia raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “You can read him that well?”

“As the Silver Dragon Princess, I’ve seen enough to pick up on subtle cues.”

Leon’s expression had been subtle, but Rosvisser saw right through him.

“We’ve been married nearly six years. I know exactly what he’s thinking,” she said with a smirk.

“All I’m thinking of is you, my queen.”

“Oh, stop it.”

Claudia watched their playful exchange with a slight smile. “Alright, Leon, what else did Konstantin say?”

Leon coughed and glanced away, reluctant to et their eyes. “He, uh… suggested we should consider having another child.”

Rosvisser and Claudia blinked in stunned silence as a breeze swept through, amplifying the awkwardness. Sowhere, a crow seed to punctuate the silence with a single “Caw.”

“Since that blow to his head, he’s been a bit off,” Claudia observed. “But this… this is a bit much.”

Rosvisser exhaled, crossing her arms, tail tapping the ground in irritation. “Why would Konstantin even care about our family decisions? I get it when my sister or grandmother nudges us, but him?”

Claudia chuckled. “So the whole lkvey family loves children, huh?”

Leon scratched his nose sheepishly. “Apparently, Konstantin’s determined to beat . He said that one day he’d defeat and that his child would one day defeat mine. To ‘even the playing field,’ he’s suggesting we add one more to our side.”

Rosvisser scoffed, “Ridiculous… but, well, it’s Konstantin. That kind of logic does suit him.”

Despite knowing Konstantin’s fierce competitiveness, Rosvisser hadn’t expected him to be so invested in ensuring his legacy carried on the rivalry.

Claudia pressed on, “So, are you considering it?”

Leon moved closer to Rosvisser, taking her hand naturally. “I haven’t made a decision yet. I’ve thought about it, though, but it’s not simple. Between raising Noa, Hefei, and Mia, I’m not sure if we’re ready.”

Claudia folded her arms, observing the two with a thoughtful gaze. “Are you worried Noa and her sisters might get jealous if there’s another sibling?”

Rosvisser shook her head, “Not at all. They’re understanding and even asked for another sibling a few tis. Noa’s wanted a younger sister or brother.”

Leon chuckled, adding, “Actually, Moon wants an older sibling.”

Rosvisser laughed, squeezing his hand. “She’s still young and doesn’t fully understand. Do you?”

Leon grinned, letting her take the lead in the conversation.

Rosvisser’s smile faded, and her tone beca serious. “It’s not that we’re against the idea… It’s just that things aren’t exactly stable. The Empire may seem peaceful, but certain clues hint at future conflicts. Having a child right now could interfere with Leon’s responsibilities.”

Claudia’s eyes glinted with understanding. “You an tracking down imperial remnants and uncovering their leaders?”

Leon nodded solemnly, “Exactly.”

Claudia nodded thoughtfully. “That’s certainly important. But—" She paused, making them lean in, “—that doesn’t an having a child isn’t also important.”

Rosvisser and Leon exchanged glances, waiting for Claudia to continue.

“Let’s be honest—lkveys are known for their love of children. That doesn’t just apply to the Red Dragon King and your grandmother,” Claudia remarked with a knowing smile. “Look at you two! You adore children and have raised yours exceptionally well.”

Her point hit ho. The love they poured into their daughters’ upbringing was proof enough of their commitnt to family.

“Besides,” Claudia continued, “everyone knows Leon is a doting father. Even among the Sea Dragons, I’ve heard about it. And living with him has shifted so of my old views on family.”

She glanced aningfully at Leon, who had deeply influenced Rosvisser’s perspective as well, turning her into a more nurturing mother over their six years together.

“I understand,” Rosvisser said softly, “It’s just that given the current situation, making that decision doesn’t feel easy.”

Claudia smiled. “If you both love children and don’t mind having another, then what’s holding you back?”

Rosvisser and Leon’s hesitation stemd not from unwillingness but from waiting for the right reason—a reason strong enough to outweigh their concerns.

“Chasing down imperial remnants is a crucial mission,” Claudia affird, “but so is strengthening our Dragon Clan.”

“Our numbers are already low. You two have given us three wonderful children, but we need more.”

“Wait… Claudia, I get that the Dragon Clan is small, but expecting Leon and to handle the clan’s expansion alone seems a bit—”

“You two have advantages!” Claudia interrupted, smiling.

“What advantages?”

“Firstly, your bond is solid—no risk of separation. Secondly, dragon-human hybrids are clearly superior to pure dragons in strength.”

“And most dragons, like the Wildborn, can’t bear many offspring without risking the mother’s health. But those born through live birth, like you, don’t face such risks. A mother can recover within weeks.”

Claudia clapped her hands together, grinning. “So, with all that said, go ho, you two, and start planning for a third baby!”
