Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You Vol. 6 Ch. 97
On the border of the Silver Dragon territory, magic clashed and fire lit up the sky.
This battle had already lasted for several hours.
Fortunately, when Leon and Cecilia left a few days earlier, Isha had followed Leon’s instructions and stayed a few extra days with the Silver Dragon Clan. That was the only reason Rosvisser had been able to intercept the Void Realm warriors shortly after they descended.
And just like that damned husband of hers predicted—it worked.
Their enemies didn’t number many, barely under a hundred.
But every single one of them was a top-tier fighter.
Even Sherry and Lilu’s Silver Dragon Guard, fighting alongside them for quite so ti, had failed to gain the upper hand despite their numbers and territorial advantage.
Of course, the most troubleso part was the two wielders of special weapons.
One of them was Carl—the sa Carl Rosvisser had encountered during her ti with the Dwarves.
It had only taken her a short ti back then to pierce his staff—capable of manipulating all matter—with her Sacred Spear: Gungnir.
Now he had returned with sothing new.
Based on the intel gathered during battle, Carl’s new Void weapon ability seed to be Devour.
That is, any magic-based attack would be absorbed, then rged with Void power and reflected back.
That forced Rosvisser and Isha to rely heavily on physical combat instead.
But that was precisely where the problem lay:
Carl’s companion—his ability was… strange.
After yet another clash, Isha kicked Carl away and retreated, leveraging the montum to fall back to Rosvisser’s side.
"Did you notice, Rosvisser? That guy’s state is not right."
Rosvisser’s draconic eyes locked onto the man beside Carl. After a mont of thought, she said quietly,
"Yeah. We’ve been fighting for so long, even Carl is starting to show signs of exhaustion.
But that guy beside him? He doesn’t seem tired at all."
Isha wiped the blood from the corner of her lips, the flickering fla of killing intent burning deep in her crimson eyes.
"Not just that. At the start, you and I could barely manage to hold our own against him.
But as the fight drags on, he’s getting more and more dominant."
Isha pursed her lips, took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.
"If every elite fighter from the Void Realm has so kind of special ability, then I’d guess that guy’s power is sothing like ‘growing stronger the longer he fights’—
and designed to stall opponents under conditions that favor him."
Because of Carl’s new devouring ability, the lkvey sisters had no choice but to limit their use of magic and instead relied on hand-to-hand combat.
But physical combat and magic duels were fundantally different.
Magic attacks were lethal—often capable of ending fights in a single strike.
But physical combat required constant probing, analysis, and waiting for an opening.
If Isha’s guess was correct, then fighting with physical attacks would be a slow and painful road to death for the lkvey sisters.
Just as they were considering whether to force a retreat, a sudden thunderous wave of energy exploded from the battlefield — a surge of pure white energy radiated above the heads of the Void warriors.
Noa, having entered her Primordial Mode, soared into the air, raising both hands. Crescent-shaped arcs of white energy coalesced in her palms.
A-Class Thunder Magic · Primordial Twin Moon Slash.
With that one spell alone, she turned the tide.
As the white energy slamd down among the Void warriors, it shattered their formation in an instant and bought enough ti for Sherry’s guards to launch a counterattack.
"Bringing Noa into the battle… I still don’t know if that was the right decision or a mistake."
Rosvisser’s gaze toward her daughter was filled with deep worry.
But as her aunt, Isha was full of confidence in her niece.
"She’s a grown girl now. She’s more than capable of protecting herself."
"And don’t forget, during the Sky City battle, Noa played a crucial role too."
Watching Noa’s figure in combat, Isha suddenly rembered sothing. She pulled her gaze back and looked toward Rosvisser.
"Ros, we can’t delay any longer. Don’t forget what Mother told us before she left."
Rosvisser, of course, knew what Isha was referring to.
But she still hesitated.
Having beco a mother, she was far more sentintal than most dragons.
"Oh~ Is this really all you two have?"
Carl stepped forward.
"Without that Leon Cassmod guy here, I wonder how long you can actually hold out.
Let’s see whether he can make it back in ti, or if we’ll kill you both first and take the Key."
Kaiser...
The sisters turned their eyes to the silent Void warrior.
"So… he’s Kaiser? The one they call the strongest Void warrior—the one who stole the Wind Spirit Thunder Core from Mother and the others."
Now that they knew who he was, Rosvisser and Isha grew even more cautious.
Kaiser stepped forward slowly, his arms crossed over his chest, completely composed.
A light breeze tousled his hair, streaked with a faint trace of violet. His cold, chiseled face remained expressionless.
Throughout the battle, he hadn’t said a word—not even to Carl.
But now, it seed like he was finally about to speak.
"Stop fighting, Dragons. You have no chance of winning."
Kaiser’s voice was calm and deep, his tone utterly flat.
As he spoke, he slowly extended one hand.
"Hand over the Key, and we’ll withdraw imdiately. None of you will have to keep risking your lives to protect it."
Compared to Carl, Kaiser was far more direct.
He was here only for the Key. Fighting was rely a ans to that end.
And from his tone, it was clear—Kaiser wasn’t the type to kill unless necessary.
"What a joke."
Isha ripped the tattered sleeve from her arm, her dragon eyes narrowing into sharp slits as killing intent flared within.
"If we really gave you the Key, the Void Gate would be broken in no ti, and your invasion would crash down onto our world.
At that point, it won’t just be our lives on the line—it’ll be every living being on this continent.
Even a child wouldn’t agree to a deal like that."
It was a simple response—not filled with venom, but still a firm rejection.
And yet, when Isha said the words “invade our world,” sothing strange flickered in Kaiser’s cold eyes.
Just for a second—then it was gone.
He lowered his hand and said nothing more.
Carl, seeing this, stepped forward and continued,
"We already gave you primitive creatures a chance. You didn’t take it, so don’t bla us for what cos next!"
There was no room for negotiation. Only battle would decide the outco now.
Rosvisser closed her eyes, slowly inhaled, then exhaled.
"If that’s the case… then we’ll give it everything we’ve got!"
The silver dragoness snapped her eyes open, fiercer than ever.
She raised her right hand. Her long sleeve slid down, revealing her arm as arcs of golden lightning began to crackle in her palm.
Seeing this, both Carl and Kaiser paused.
"What is she doing…?"
In the next mont, a radiant golden light erupted from behind—the Silver Dragon’s sanctuary.
The beam of light soared across the Silver Dragon Clan’s defense line, arcing across the sky and trailing a dazzling golden streak.
Finally, it dropped like a bolt of lightning.
As the light faded, a golden spear appeared in Rosvisser’s hand.
The queen spun the spear in a flawless flourish before leveling its tip directly at Carl and Kaiser.
The energy within her body surged violently—like a flood on the verge of bursting through the dam.
"Th-That’s the Key!?"
Carl shouted in shock.
"That Silver Dragon wants to use the 'Key' against us again! Be careful, Kaiser—my Void Weapon Style was shattered by that spear!"
Kaiser narrowed his eyes slightly and then assud a textbook fighting stance.
Seeing Rosvisser summon Gungnir, he finally began to take this battle seriously.
"Don’t act recklessly, Carl. The fact that they’re choosing to use the Key’s power ans… we’ve already pushed them to the brink."
Kaiser clenched his fists, his gaze locked onto Rosvisser.
"I’ll handle the Silver Dragon. You go deal with the red one. Until I have the Key in hand, she must not be allowed to support Rosvisser."
"Understood!"
With the decision made, the two Void warriors moved at once.
"Get on, sis."
"Right."
The lkvey sisters also launched themselves forward to et their enemies.
What had started as a 2-on-2 battle was forcibly split into two one-on-ones the mont the Sacred Spear appeared.
Kaiser needed to focus solely on Rosvisser wielding the spear—so Carl’s job was to hold Isha back.
It wasn’t that Kaiser lacked the confidence to fight two at once. This strategy was simply more secure.
After all, he wasn’t soone who liked taking unnecessary risks.
Rosvisser and Kaiser faced off.
The Sacred Spear fired several powerful beams of energy toward him.
But Kaiser didn’t dodge—his body transford into a streak of violet, lunging headfirst into the energy beams.
The mont the beam hit him, it split in two, exploding outward to either side.
Kaiser shot through the burst of energy and closed in on Rosvisser, lifting both hands over his head to summon a glowing spell sphere.
Rosvisser dropped one knee back and gripped her spear tightly, raising it to block. The butt of the spear absorbed Kaiser’s strike.
The resulting clash unleashed a shockwave and a violent explosion.
The ground beneath Rosvisser’s feet cracked and sank from the force, spiderweb fractures spreading out beneath her.
Gold and violet energy raged across the battlefield, clashing and spiraling outward with them at the center.
"As I thought. You're stronger now. That spear has multiplied your power several tis over."
Kaiser pulled back from the clash, steadying himself as he looked up at her.
"Then… if this is going to be a weapon fight, I’ll give it everything I’ve got too."
With that, he clasped his hands together, purple-black flas surging between his fingers.
Then he slowly drew his arms apart, and within seconds, a Void-forged longsword erged in his hand.
Unlike Leon’s Lightning Blade, which was pure energy, Kaiser’s weapon was a solid, tangible sword.
"So this is your Void Weapon Style?" Rosvisser murmured.
Kaiser raised the blade, crouched low into a hunting stance like a predator about to strike.
"No. I’m not like Carl and the others. I… don’t need a Void Weapon Style."
The mont he finished speaking, Kaiser launched forward like a bullet.
Rosvisser reacted instantly, raising her spear to parry.
Clang! Clang!
Spear and sword collided, tal ringing loud and fierce.
anwhile, on another part of the battlefield, Noa was still holding her own against more than a dozen armored Void soldiers.
"Hey, kid. You look like you’re getting tired."
Noa kicked two soldiers away and flipped midair, landing nimbly.
But her foot faltered slightly on the landing—she staggered, nearly falling.
She righted herself and steadied her breathing, her blue eyes sweeping across the enemies before her.
"Primordial Mode isn’t ant for drawn-out fights.
They’ve realized you’re the core of this side of the battlefield," the old ancestor’s voice echoed in her mind.
"That’s why they’ve sent even more elite soldiers to surround and eliminate you.
Your mother’s maid squad joined the fray earlier, but like Sherry and Lilu’s guards, they’ve all been blocked.
These bastards have a clear goal—to take you out first.
If this keeps up, and Primordial Mode gets forcibly canceled, no one will be able to reach us in ti. Kid… find a chance to retreat. Otherwise, you’re in serious trouble."
Noa wiped the sweat from her face and looked down at her palm.
She could still barely hold onto Primordial Mode… but not for much longer.
Maybe ten minutes more, at most.
She was frustrated—but she knew the old man was right.
It wasn’t her fault she was being targeted.
"Alright… I’ll find a chance to pull back."
"Thank the heavens, kid, you’re finally learning to listen." The old ancestor sounded relieved.
Noa kept her face expressionless, her voice steady as she replied,
"I can barely run, so don’t get excited just yet."
"…"
After the brief quip, Noa turned and sprinted away, aiming to break through from the other side, hopefully before Primordial Mode ran out.
But unfortunately, since the enemy had made it clear they were targeting Noa’s squad, they weren’t about to let her escape so easily.
Void soldiers quickly gave chase, and with backup from ~Nоvеl𝕚ght~ the far flank, they surrounded her.
"This… isn’t looking good."
A cold bead of sweat rolled down Noa’s forehead.
"Will I live long enough to see your rebellious phase, sweetheart?" the old man joked.
"Don’t call sweetheart. That’s gross."
"Alright, sweetie."
"Even worse."
"Die!"
Two Void soldiers launched simultaneous attacks, cutting their exchange short.
They leapt high, forming two purple energy spheres in their hands.
Noa, in Primordial Mode, could clearly feel the intense energy building in those spheres.
She could block them, but if she did, her Primordial Mode would end early from energy depletion.
And then… the rest of the enemies would close in.
But if she dodged, she risked being struck from an unexpected angle.
"What do I do, what do I do, what do I do…"
Panic welled up. She didn’t know what to choose.
And as she hesitated—
The two Void spell spheres shot toward her face.
"Damn it…"
Noa raised her arms to block. Even if she used up all her power, she couldn't let herself get taken out.
If she lost Primordial Mode, she could still hold out.
But if she lost the ability to move—she’d be nothing but a helpless piece of at.
But the impact she expected never ca.
A few seconds passed.
She slowly lowered her arms and looked forward.
A crescent-shaped energy wave hovered before her, slowly dissipating.
It had blocked the Void soldiers’ spell right in front of her.
"Thunder Moon Slash?" the old ancestor instantly recognized the technique.
Noa stared at the fading arc of energy and murmured,
"Thunder Moon Slash is a signature move of the Black Moon Dragon Clan. After their extinction, there are only two people left in the world who can use this technique."
"One is . The other is… the one who taught it to ."
Just then, a figure dropped from the sky and landed steadily in front of her.
Noa stared at the figure’s back. Long black hair swayed gently in the wind.
"Teacher…"
"Long ti no see, Noa. Did you miss ?"
