"I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally knocked over Miss Bernice."

Adelina explained while helping Bernice into the box.

Hearing this, Felyn quickly moved to Bernice’s other side to support her.

Bernice, getting knocked over? What a joke.

This was the sa girl who could casually overpower demons and Church Executors. Aside from being hit by a reincarnation truck from his previous life, Felyn couldn’t imagine anything else capable of hurting her.

With both of them supporting her, Bernice slowly made her way to the sofa in the lounge area.

Felyn helped her sit down and began checking her injuries.

Bernice was wearing shorts and knee-high boots that highlighted her beautifully toned legs—perfectly shaped and gleaming under the lights.

Among all of Felyn’s clients, Bernice definitely had the most alluring legs.

He examined her carefully several tis but couldn’t find a single scratch.

Taking advantage of the mont while Adelina had turned around to pour a glass of water, Felyn leaned in and whispered, “Bernice, what are you doing?”

“I just tripped. My leg hurts,” Bernice replied with a slightly aggrieved look, rubbing her knee.

“You? Hurt? You didn’t even get injured. You could jump off a rooftop and walk away fine!”

Bernice’s expression stiffened. She covered her mouth with one hand.

“Saying sothing like that to a beautiful girl is just cruel. Are you calling a monster? I can feel pain too, okay?”

Just as Felyn was about to fire back, Adelina returned with the glass of water.

“Miss Bernice, are you feeling better?”

“Yes, yes, I’m fine now. I’ll just lie here on the sofa for a while. You two go ahead, don’t worry about .”

Bernice laid back on the sofa, perfectly claiming the best viewing spot in the room.

“But…”

“Let’s go, Adelina. Bernice just needs to rest a bit.”

Felyn had no idea what kind of ga Bernice was playing, but keeping her and Adelina apart seed like a wise choice either way.

The concert was about to begin. All the surrounding lights dimd to black.

In the darkness, the sea of pale blue support sticks lit up the stadium, forming a manmade sky.

“Adelina, I didn’t expect you to co see Zervanie’s concert,” Felyn said.

They sat on a long cushioned sofa, staring at the spectacular sight through the glass window.

The lights inside the box weren’t turned off. The glass was one-way, so it wouldn’t affect the audience outside at all.

“The negotiations with the Chamber ended, and everyone was looking for a reason to co. Then we received the Princess’s invitation, so here we are.”

Adelina nervously brushed her hair, worried it might have gotten ssy.

“But I didn’t expect you to be here, Felyn. And in this box, no less. These kinds of box seats aren’t sothing you can just buy with money. You need connections.”

“I owe it to a friend,” Felyn said casually. “Otherwise, I wouldn’t be sitting here either.”

He had told Adelina before that he ca to the capital with a friend.

As the son of Sorester Family, it wasn’t strange for him to have a few noble friends.

“I see. Then your friend must be quite distinguished.”

Adelina hesitated for a mont before asking, “Could I… et them?”

She just wanted to thank the person who had taken care of Felyn.

What she hadn’t realized was that her thoughts were beginning to resemble those of a wife thanking a friend for taking care of her husband.

She had unconsciously placed herself in that role.

“Sure, if there’s a chance,” Felyn replied, assuming she wanted to verify his story.

“Felyn, I’m still a little worried about Miss Bernice. Do you mind if I stay here a little longer, just to make sure she’s okay?”

Adelina partly wanted to use this excuse to spend more ti with Felyn, but she genuinely was concerned for Bernice too.

“Of course, no problem at all.”

Since Daiyi was with Dorothy and Zervanie’s performance was about to start, Felyn figured no one else was likely to show up. He might as well enjoy the mont.

Felyn always tried to avoid overlapping with clients while working, but if it happened, he’d willingly put in so overti.

Especially for Adelina—she gave him generous bonuses and treated him well. A little overti wasn’t a big deal.

“Felyn, Miss Bernice is your maid, right?”

He turned to look at Adelina. She had her hands clasped in front of her, looking rather hesitant.

“She’s a maid of a distant relative of mine,” he replied.

“But that still kind of makes her your maid, doesn’t it? So… so have you ever asked her to…”

Adelina took a deep breath and, in a small voice, asked,

“Have you ever asked her to wear a maid outfit?”

“Maid outfit?”

Felyn blinked in confusion. He had no idea why she would suddenly ask that.

Soone must’ve told her I like maid outfits! That’s the only explanation!

Who was it?! Who exposed my preferences?!

Bernice? Was it you?!

“No, I haven’t,” Felyn answered honestly.

But in his mind, he couldn’t help picturing Bernice in a maid outfit.

A short skirt showing off her long, seductive legs.

Black and white fabric, a wooden seal gun strapped to her back, smiling through blood-stained cheeks while saying, “Welco ho, Master.”

Honestly? Not bad at all.

Boom!

Fireworks exploded overhead. The concert was starting.

The stadium, which had fallen into brief silence, now erupted into thunderous cheers.

Everyone was shouting the sa na.

“Zervanie!”

This ti, they didn’t have to wait long.

“Good evening, Central Capital!”

Felyn could feel the floor trembling beneath him.

He began to wonder if the venue could actually withstand this kind of noise without collapsing.

Beams of light sliced through the night, illuminating the stage.

Zervanie stood at the center, dazzling.

Tonight, she wore a sky-blue puffed dress, white knee-high boots, and matching lace gloves.

“Did I keep you waiting?”

“No!!”

The shout of 150,000 voices echoed across the capital.

Felyn couldn’t help but smile as he watched Zervanie’s lively energy.

There really was sothing captivating about her on stage.

No matter what worries you carried, seeing a girl so full of life and beauty made the world feel a little brighter.

But Felyn’s smile wasn’t for any noble reason like that.

Tonight’s atmosphere, Zervanie’s energy—everything was perfect.

It was the perfect chance for Princess Dorothy, watching Zervanie live for the first ti, to fall even deeper in love with her.

And that ant the autographed rchandise he sent her would sell even better.

In fact, a batch of signed goods should be arriving at her place tonight.

Ti to rake in the profits.

Felyn grinned wider.

But Adelina, sitting beside him, wasn’t smiling at all.

“The concert’s starting, Adelina,” he said gently.

She turned her head slightly to the side, her rose-tea-colored hair swaying with the motion.

Her arms were crossed tightly in front of her chest.

Her lips curled downward in a quiet pout.

“Adelina?”

Felyn noticed her inching away from him on the sofa.

Oh no. She’s upset!

I smiled at another woman in front of a client!

She’s jealous, isn’t she?
