“Felyn! Lady Viloti is here to see you again!” a classmate at the door called out.

This was the fifth ti today that Viloti had co looking for Felyn between classes.

“Do you two really have that much to talk about? Can’t you just say it all at once?”

At this point, the entire class felt like they were part of the ongoing ‘Felyn and Viloti’ play. It was becoming a routine—so student with a neatness obsession would always comnt whenever Viloti ca looking for him.

“Viloti, what is it this ti?” Felyn asked as the two of them leaned against the railing.

He couldn’t help but feel that sothing was off about the young lady today. She’d co looking for him during every break, but barely said a word each ti. He had no idea what she was trying to do.

Viloti wore the sa expression she’d had the previous four tis. Her gaze flickered evasively, and her hand clutched tightly to the railing.

“Felyn, I… I…”

Viloti struggled to speak.

Ever since finding out that Adelina had spent the night with Felyn, she’d felt incredibly unsettled.

She hadn’t expected Adelina and Felyn’s relationship to progress so quickly. It had completely thrown off her calculations.

Viloti felt like she hadn’t been spending as much ti with Felyn lately. That’s why she wanted to stay with him a little longer.

The other day, when they studied together with Hermie, it had been a perfect excuse.

But visiting a boy’s house was still sothing that embarrassed her.

She’d already failed four tis to say it. Every attempt got stuck in her throat.

“I… I…”

It was clear that her fifth attempt was about to fail too.

She didn’t dare look Felyn in the eyes.

Before coming here, she had spent an entire class period psyching herself up. But now, standing in front of him, she still couldn’t get the words out.

“You want to see Hermie, don’t you?”

Felyn finally caught on.

Viloti’s eyes lit up as she nodded.

“Was that why you ca the past few tis too?”

“…Yes. I’m sorry, Felyn. I didn’t an to bother you…”

Felyn didn’t think of himself as a bad person, but every ti Viloti apologized like that, he couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt.

“If you want to see him, just say so next ti. After all, you are owner.”

Viloti was very generous with money—she had already paid Hermie’s living expenses all the way through next year.

If Felyn hadn’t stopped her, she probably would’ve wired enough to cover Hermie’s entire future.

“T-Then… can I go ho with you after school?”

“Sure. Let’s walk back together after class.”

“Okay!”

Viloti rose slightly onto her toes, her expression still calm, but her heart quietly brimming with joy.

Humming a soft tune to herself, she returned to her classroom.

“I get to go ho with Felyn… I get to go to his house…”

Today’s classes dragged on unbearably slow, as if soone had cast a Slow-Ti spell over the entire building.

After what felt like a hundred glances at the wall clock, the final bell finally rang.

Hearing the bell, Felyn packed up his bag and sat down, checking a ssage that had just arrived.

[Sorry, I just woke up. You said Viloti is coming over? Of course she’s welco. Should I give her my room? Dating in your girlfriend’s room while she’s away would make things even spicier, wouldn’t it?]

[Absolutely not! Viloti’s just coming to check on Hermie.]

[Oh? Just that?]

[Just that. Nothing more.]

[You said the sa thing last night, but you ca ho slling like Adelina.]

[I didn’t do anything with Adelina last night either!]

[Sigh… having a sweet but eager boyfriend is such a hassle. We’ll need to buy a bigger house in the future. Too few rooms and there won’t be enough space for everyone. And I absolutely refuse to share a bed with your other girls. If you wander into the wrong room at night, that’s just too convenient for you.]

[…]

Just as Felyn saw Viloti’s figure appear outside the window, he quickly put away the ssage seal.

She had clearly jogged over, her chest lightly rising and falling with each breath.

She didn’t co into the classroom to fetch him. Instead, she simply confird that he was still inside, then turned to lean against the railing and quietly waited.

Viloti’s usually stoic face was now bathed in the orange hues of sunset, her amber eyes gleaming with an undeniable sense of anticipation.

She thought back to that long-ago dusk—the one when Felyn had stopped paying attention to her.

But now, after so long, she was finally going to Felyn’s house.

“Viloti, I’m ready. Let’s go.”

“Mm!”

Viloti hadn’t asked the Sylapheir family chauffeur to pick her up. If they walked, she could spend more ti with Felyn.

And walking ho together after school… felt just like a married couple.

That thought made her sneak a glance at Felyn. She imdiately looked away, her heartbeat quickening.

Their shadows stretched long in the fading sunlight. Every now and then, Viloti’s shadow would lt into his.

Her hand brushed his several tis, each accidental touch sending ripples through her heart.

Behind them, Viloti’s escort team trailed quietly, watching their young lady walk step by step toward Felyn’s ho.

After all, Lord Silafiel had already given tacit approval for Viloti to interact with Felyn.

But as the captain of the escort followed the pair, he suddenly felt a strange presence—like soone powerful was watching them from above.

It was the gaze of a powerful being. In that instant, it felt like everything about him had been seen through.

He had never experienced anything this terrifying before, not even in the Siveshus Empire.

When he asked those around him about it, their answers were all the sa: “I didn’t feel anything.”

The captain couldn’t shake the sensation. If his instincts were right, the person watching them had to be at least elder-level in strength. But what kind of person like that would be in the Mist District?

Most likely, he was just overthinking.

Up ahead, Viloti had no idea what was happening behind her. All she could think about was Felyn’s tiny ho.

“Felyn, should I buy sothing on the way?”

It was her first official visit to his house, after all.

“No need to be so formal. Or… are you saying this’ll be your only visit?”

Viloti quickly shook her head. Her silvery-pink hair fluttered in the air like silk.

“It’s just and Daiyi at ho. You don’t have to be so polite.”

Hearing Daiyi’s na reminded Viloti of that erald-eyed beauty—flawless and almost divine.

At Princess Dorothy’s banquet, Daiyi’s relationship with Felyn hadn’t seed entirely ordinary…

Could it be that kind of relationship?

“Felyn, is Miss Daiyi…?”

“She’s a distant relative of mine, just staying with for a while. She’s pretty easy to get along with. Probably. You don’t need to be nervous.”

Felyn assud Viloti was just being shy about eting new people.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, they arrived at his door.

Silently praying that Daiyi wouldn’t cause trouble tonight, Felyn opened the door.
