Felyn gathered all the old scales from the floor and placed them into a box that Serafinia had prepared in advance.

Even as old scales, they had absorbed a considerable amount of Serafinia's draconic soul power. Serafinia usually crafted them into personal collectibles.

The task of collecting the old scales was left to Felyn.

Serafinia lay on the carpet, wiping the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand, then rubbing her slightly sore inner thighs.

She had never been able to understand the human definition of ho.

But now, after returning from a long business trip to her familiar house and the familiar person within it, she felt sothing akin to a "sense of belonging" for the first ti.

"Am I... becoming dependent on Felyn?" she murmured to herself.

How annoying...

She looked down at her hands, then at her reflection in the mirror.

At this mont, she no longer looked like the daughter of a wealthy rchant, but more like a young girl lost in love.

She felt a little sick to her stomach.

She clearly hated humans, clearly hated this kind of behavior, and was clearly a proud dragon.

But...

"Miss Serafinia, everything is packed up."

Felyn placed the old scales on the table, then went to get a glass of warm water and set it on the coffee table.

"Miss Serafinia, I'll go run a bath for you now, then I'll make dinner and clean the house. Are there any other instructions?"

Serafinia shook her head, indicating she had no other requests.

She rarely spoke with Felyn; there was almost no verbal communication between them.

Because once they started chatting, the contract service would be tainted with emotion, and it would no longer be so pure.

Moreover, Serafinia believed that humans always pushed their luck.

A few nice words, or even just getting a little closer, and humans would get strange ideas.

Dragons and humans could not coexist.

Felyn saw that Serafinia seed to have entered a state of post-clarity contemplation and didn't try to strike up a conversation.

Among all his clients, only Serafinia didn't require him to tend to her emotions.

Felyn knew she disliked humans. Although he didn't know the reason, he never judged a client's preferences.

As long as the pay was good, they were a good client.

"Felyn, you went to Serafina today?"

Felyn, who was about to head to the bathroom, was stopped by Serafinia from behind.

He turned around and found Serafinia lying on the sofa, the soft curves of her body draping over the fabric like water.

"Yes. I went there today with the student council president of Lancher Academy. But as soon as I knew you were back, I left imdiately."

"I see." Her hand slowly traced the line of her waist, outlining the full curve of her figure.

"I was away for a long ti on this trip. I've also done a lot of thinking. Since we get along so well, why don't we get married? You wouldn't have to work anymore. When I co back, you can just stay ho and take care of ."

She propped her face up with one hand, and her right leg gave an inviting little hook towards Felyn. "I need a human husband anyway, so it might as well be you."

A very tempting offer, wasn't it?

Before him was Serafinia, the founder of Serafina, with more money than she could spend in a lifeti.

As a dragon who was often away on business, she naturally wouldn't interfere with his private life. More money, less work, a free life, and Serafinia was also very beautiful, especially with the mature charm of her figure.

"I'm sorry, Miss Serafinia. I have no such plans."

If he agreed, he would surely be killed by Serafinia in the next second.

She was just testing him, to see if he had any inappropriate thoughts about her.

"What a pity. Otherwise, you could have achieved sothing many humans dream of."

She slowly rose and ca to stand before Felyn, placing her hands on his shoulders.

"You could have beco the human who tad a dragon. And I, Serafinia, could have beco your precious collectible. Speaking of which, Felyn, what am I to you, in your heart?"

Her pale green eyes stared into Felyn's, seeking the answer in his heart.

"You are my client."

Felyn stared at the ceiling, his eyes empty.

Serafinia was special. He needed to maintain absolute indifference in her presence.

He didn't need to tell her what was right, nor did he need to comfort her, nor tell her that the things she did were not her true intentions, that none of it was her fault.

He just needed to remain absolutely neutral in front of her, to be nothing more than an emotionless doll.

In front of a doll, all sin and desire are aningless.

Only then would Serafinia feel at ease.

Hearing Felyn's answer, Serafinia was visibly stunned. Her pale green, slitted pupils widened abruptly, then rippled with circles of gold.

Her tightly pressed lips suddenly relaxed, and a genuine, faint smile blossod on her face.

"Just a client?"

"Yes, just a client."

Serafinia was very satisfied with this answer, and it put her heart at ease.

"Then I'll go take my bath. I'll leave the things out here to you."

Serafinia pushed open the bathroom door and shed her clothes.

The water in the bathtub was her favorite temperature, the bath salts had dyed the water a deep sea-blue, and a few crimson rose petals floated on the surface.

On the bath caddy sat freshly washed, plump green grapes still glistening with water droplets, and a Screwdriver. This cocktail of orange juice and vodka was also one of Serafinia's favorites.

She slipped into the tub, her body seeming to lt into it, leaving only her white hair floating on the surface.

"Ah~"

Serafinia sighed softly. A bath after strenuous exercise was a great pleasure.

She watched the ripples in the water lap against her body and thought of the young man outside the door.

Two years ago, Serafinia had officially co of age.

She had already consud a lot of her draconic soul to maintain her human form. If her old scales couldn't be removed in ti, it would be very dangerous for her.

But the thought of revealing that side of herself to a human made Serafinia prefer to endure it, to endure the physical pain.

Until she t Felyn.

She needed a human who was exceptionally handso, had a great physique, and at the sa ti, would not develop any desire or opinions about her.

Felyn was the perfect candidate.

In these two years, Felyn had not made a single mistake. He was different from other humans.

Most importantly, Felyn remained calm, maintaining absolute rationality in her presence.

Serafinia squinted, taking small sips of the cocktail Felyn had mixed for her.

The cool liquid slid down her throat, making her feel comfortable all over, and she couldn't help but take a few more sips.

Felyn, he seed to be getting more and more pleasing to the eye.

... ...

Felyn wiped his hands on his apron and knocked on the bathroom door.

"Miss Serafinia, supper is ready."

But a long ti passed without a response from Serafinia.

Felyn frowned and knocked again. "Miss Serafinia, are you alright? I'm coming in."

He was a little worried about Serafinia, so he pushed the door open.

The cocktail glass had sunk into the tub, and the wooden bath caddy floated listlessly.

Serafinia's nearly perfect body was floating on the water's surface, her eyes about to roll back into her head!

The dragon lady had passed out in the bath
