Li Last (Rell) - Zolon Tokiko Eishi Ilumnos (Archon of the Abyss):

The announcer says "That was one interesting looking match, even though I barely understood what happened, but let’s move on.

Next up are two contestants from Elysium. Li Last and the Archon of the Abyss. Honestly, I don’t know what to expect, but seeing that the Archon didn’t suffer any damage during the last match, I’d say that, if the rell doesn’t have anything heavier than that, then the match will be very one sided.

Let’s get those two to the arena and find out how it’ll go!"

Li and Toki enter the arena from their own sides, and Li says to Toki "I would imdiately concede, but I feel like I should at least give people a show."

Toki shrugs and says "Understandable. Go all out on ."

The two are then sent to a pocket dinsion that looks like on top of the mythril tower. Li says "Surely this is coincidence."

Toki replies "Who knows."

Li then moves fast towards Toki and kicks her right on the back of her head with every inch of strength he has.

The attack does nothing to Toki, who just stands there, and Li continues his flurry of attacks.

The audience can feel the impacts of the attacks even from behind the screen, but Toki leaves each powerful strike without a scratch.

Then Li steps further away and does the strongest attack that he can muster. A set of triangular pyramids appear on top of Toki, with the formation of them ending up upside down pointing at Toki.

Li says "Triad of rell umqway" and every inch of that pocket realm turns to crystal structures of mythril. All, except of course, but Toki.

Li gives a satisfied smile and says "I concede."

With that, the match ended in Toki’s victory.

Once back in the arena, Toki says to Li "I only ever heard of that attack, and now I’ve finally seen it. Thanks for the treat."

Li says "No problem" and both shake hands in satisfaction.

.

Mathews Witsur (King of Death) - Song Bai (Transcended Automaton):

The announcer says "That was an interesting match. Can’t say I ever wish to see that rell’s attack unleashed in the real world ever. But without further ado, let’s get to the next match. King of Death vs. A machine."

Lud goes to sit next to Tifa and Tifa asks him "How are you holding up?"

Lud answers "I’m good I think. What did I miss?"

Tifa responds "You missed a few decimations, but nothing too amazing."

Lud nods and says "I see." And they both sat in silence for a mont.

Then Lud asks Tifa "Say... Have you seen any world crackless happen in these Immortal-Cup matches so far?"

Tifa answers "Now that you’ve ntioned it, none so far. Why did you ask?"

Lud says "I don’t know. I just... Didn’t feel anything like that happen while I was resting."

Tifa asks "So you can tell when those things happen now?"

Lud answers "I... have the feeling that I can, but... I’m not sure why."

Then a familiar voice says to Lud "It is because of what happened in your match with Synthia."

Lud and Tifa look at who said it and see that it is Sante, eating popcorn.

Lud asks "I’m sorry, but do I know you?"

Sante asks "You don’t rember? Wait... have we t at this ti or have you simply forgotten. It is confusing for sotis since I don’t go linearly in this story. But in any case, the psycho lady should know who I am, I think, so that is good enough."

Tifa says to Sante "If you are the one saying it, then can you tell us what exactly happened to Lud?"

Sante responds "That I cannot tell you."

Tifa sighs and says "Of course you can’t."

Sante then says "What I can tell you is that the reason why the protagonist here hasn’t felt any world crackless during the Immortal-Cup is not because they don’t happen, it is because, for certain people, a phenonon happens that makes them inaudible and unobservable."

Tifa asks "Care to elaborate?"

Sante answers "No can do."

Tifa asks "Then why are you here in the first place?"

Sante answers "To listen how the audio is."

Tifa is dumbfounded and asks "Co again?"

Sante responds "Don’t worry about it. You’ll see... or rather hear, soon enough."

Lud asks in turn "So the next match is sothing that you feel is interesting to listen to?"

Sante answers "I don’t think it’ll be much different when listening to... You’ll get it soon. I’m just interested in if it is even close to what I described in the story."

Lud is a bit confused and says "So you... write stories?"

Sante leans forward and looks at Lud dumfounded "Have we really not t before this? I would think that we should have by now."

Lud responds "Not that I can recall."

Sante leans back again and mutters "Maybe I just forgot about whether he did et before this when I was writing this, or my own mory is killing at this mont by itself."

Then Thews and Bai enter the arena, though Bai looks a bit different.

Sante comnts "This is also the part that I wanted to see how it’d turn out."

This ti, Bai didn’t have that arrogant attire. This ti, she had her official battle garnts that, while sowhat revealing, did give a mature and elegant vibe. Most of the colours of the garnts were silver with golden inscriptions flowing around the garnt in real ti. Her hair flows freely in this form.

Sante comnts "I hope I didn’t lean too much into fan service with this."’

Tifa says "I think you did at least a bit."

Sante says "Fair enough. She does lean sowhere in my type. I think."

Tifa says "Did not need to know that."

Sante responds "Now you do" and throws so popcorn to his mouth.

Thews says to Bai "You seem to have a rather different aura since I last saw you."

Bai makes a hand gesture and a slight bow "I have a wish I’d like to ask of you, if you’d be so kind."

The other fingers who were watching this were screaming in astonishnt since they have never seen Bai act this way. For Xu, this was sothing he has been waiting to see for a long ti.

Thews responds "You may ask, but I won’t promise I’ll grant it to you."

Bai says "Thank you. All I ask is that you let attack you just once."

Thews asks "You have that little confidence? Can’t say I bla you, but..."

Bai continues "I am well aware that I stand no chance against you and I felt your devotion on winning this tournant in the last match you fought. I just... want to see if my strongest attack can reach your level."

Thews says "While I would normally be interested to see it, I can’t afford to lose."

Bai says, still bowing slightly "I understand, but in exchange for granting this one wish, I’ll forfeit no matter the consequences of my attack. Please."

Thews stares at Bai for a mont, then closes his eyes and says "I can see that you want to show your place amongst the fingers. I respect that."

There is a slight pause before Thews answers "Very well. I’ll grant you your wish since I see no downside in granting it."

Bai bows a little deeper once and says "Thank you" and raises her back straight once more.

Soon after, the two contestants are sent to a pocket realm consisting on a concrete ground with nothing else.

Thews said "Whenever you are ready."

Bai responded "Yes."

Then Bai said "Qian Jian 100th form. Deus Ex Machina. X100."

As soon as Bai said it, the arena started to be filled with world crackless. The fingers were confused for a mont, since Bai didn’t attach any attacks beforehand, but what they heard next shocked them.

Bai said "Song Bai 1st form. Ascendance." As soon as Bai said it, an aura began to form around her. An aura that resembled that of a bonafide god of that world.

Then Bai said "Song Bai 2nd form. Concentration of power."

With those words, as Bai walked towards Thews, the world crackless began to increase in volu until they started to sound like static. Static that happened only once every so often, and on Bai’s hand, the world crackless began to concentrate in one, fixed position.

As the static beca more and more frequent, on Bai’s hand, began to form a sword of pure light like thing. Still static, but clearly forming into one, unified thing.

As Bai raised her hand and as she stepped closer and closer towards Thews, she raised her hand that held the static world crackle sword thingy and the sound started to settle. The static began to vibrate in a way that made it inaudible, but visibly, it started to look more and more like a sword of pure light. A sword... of pure power.

Then as Bai held the world crackle sword on her hand on top of her, she said "Song Bai 3rd form. World bending slash."

With that said, Bai slashed the sword forward, and with it, energy like no other began to slice the very world apart.

Thews couldn’t help but use his absolute death ability to slow it down, but in the end, it ended up not being enough to slow the attack down after much struggle.

It ended in Bai’s victory, but due to the agreent, Thews won the match officially.

Once back in the arena, Thews said "Magnificent. I never thought of concentrating power like that. One second."

With that said, static sound began to vibrate and soon it disappeared. In Thews’ hand, appeared sothing similar to what Bai just unleashed.

Thews swung it lightly a few tis and said "It is indeed a marvel. Well done. If I could give you the title, I’d call you Machine God Song Bai."

Bai responded "Of course you would. I am the best of my species. But I am surprised that you were able to copy my technique just like that without trial and error. I am at awe."

Thews makes the world crackle sword disappear and says "Don’t worry about it. I am kind of special. But what do you gods think? Should this young lass gain the title?"

Perkele said in a loud tone from the audience "Ah yes. A machine god. It is but an honour to accept such a being to our ranks, even though, materially, she doesn’t qualify as god. Hence I, Perkele, god of defilent, announce that Song Bai should have the honorary title of ’Machine God’. What do the rest of my fellow gods think?"

Trix says "I vote for that title."

Werluum says " too."

Harlotte says " thrice."’

-Etis says "I suppose she has achieved what even us gods could not. So sure."

Leeroy says "That is the spirit of power! I accept this title!"

Otzal says crumply "Accepted."

Jyqbolos says loudly "I see no harm in accepting such a being amongst our ranks. Such power."

Cheesos says "No objections."

The Fates say in unison "Approved."

Ao says "She defeated , so I have no argunts."

Then Atkoosa says "As the leader of us gods, I, Atkoosa, grant this mortal machine the honorary title of Machine God. Henceforth, Song Bai may use this title whenever she goes."

And with that, the match ends. Thews proceeded to the next round, but Bai gained sothing much more grand.

.

Fein (God of Ruin) - -Etis Cre Unuma (God of Magic):

The announcer says "Well I’ll be! That was a match that changed history! Never did I expect to see sothing like that! But... ahem... but let’s get back to the matches.

Next up is Fein vs. -Etis. Will magic fall to ruin or will ruin fall for the power of the magic. Let’s find out.

Fein and -Etis go to the arena and soon after they are sent to an island pocket dinsion.

-Etis, knowing the power that Fein has, uses the sa spell she won previously with Er.

Imdiately, the power of a neutron star falling down on him affected Fein, but Fein did not falter and simply used his power to make the falling neutron star lose power drastically. It slowly and surely was turned to ash and dust, with the power that it once held becoming aningless.

-Etis didn’t hold back and summoned another two of them, which then caused an explosion of so kind.

Fein mitigated the shockwave and turned the two combining neutron stars to dust. Needless to say, but the island was now covered in a thick layer of, arguably, radioactive ash.

Fein didn’t spend too much ti dying in that ashfield, and made -Etis forget everything on the spot.

-Etis fell to the radioactive ashfield, slowly choking on the dust that was there. Fein, being an ash incarnate, didn’t suffer from the ash more than the sheer radiation did, so Fein ended up winning, again, just barely.

When the two got back to the arena, -Etis scoffed and started walking away from the arena. Fein said "It was a close call in general, so don’t beat yourself too much about it."

-Etis pretended not to listen, but a weight was lifted from her in that mont. Though the weight was placed on her due to her loss in the first place, but it cancels out.

.

Epithos (God of Rembrance and Reflection) - Leeroy (God of Adventures, Journeys and Recklessness):

The announcer says "That was a match and a half. Well, let’s not delve too deep why -Etis looked strangely happy at the end and move on to the next match.

We’ll have Epithos and Leeroy. Will mories win or will adventure rage on. Let’s find out!"

Epithos and Leeroy enter the arena and are sent to a pocket dinsion that looks like a valley of stone pillars.

Leeroy doesn’t hesitate and climbs to the top of one of said pillars. There he scouts out where Epithos is hiding.

Epithos in the anti, is summoning scouts of legends to locate Leeroy and assassins as well.

Epithos locates Leeroy first and as soon as he does so, he attacks Leeroy with the assassins.

Leeroy skillfully defeats the summoned assassins and by sensing the aether in the air, he finds where the summoned assassins ca from and tracks them back to Epithos.

Leeroy now had his target and was on the hunt.

Epithos summoned more of his minions and Leeroy, while he did have to focus on them, he didn’t stop his pursuit.

Eventually, after fighting many summoned heroes of legend, Leeroy finally caught up to Epithos and tried to attack him.

As soon as Leeroy’s spectral sword scratched Epithos, a hoard of mories started to flood in Leeroy’s head, forcing him to not be able to focus for a short mont.

In that short mont, Epithos summoned a copy of one of Blosth’s sacred weapons and managed to stab Leeroy with it.

As the weapon seeped through Leeroy’s flesh, he imdiately gained control and swiped his spectral sword wherever he sensed Epithos to be.

However, Leeroy missed due to the poison now flowing on his veins. He caught off golden blood and fell to the ground.

In the end, he said "Bloody bastard."

The match ended in Epithos’ victory.

When the two went back to the arena, Leeroy laughed and said "I didn’t expect you to use one of Blosth’s weapons. You really caught by surprise."

Epithos says "Yes. While it was indeed a re copy, the effect was enough to end the match."

Leeroy laughed, "Well. Next ti, I need to look out for stuff like that. Haha! Like I’ll rember!"

Epithos responds with a kind smile "Yes. You have the authority of recklessness, so it cos with the habit of not rembering things properly at crucial tis."

Leeroy laughed again. "Well, you probably will get off guard by so other thod if we ever have the opportunity again."

Epithos extends his hand and says "I’m sure we’ll have plenty of opportunities in the future, friend."

Leeroy shook Epithos’ hand and thus ended the second stage of the Immortal-Cup.

.

The contestants for the Immortal-Cup Quarter Finals are as follows:

Perkele (God of Debauchery, Depravity and Defilent) - Atkoosa (God of Suns)
