After hanging up the phone.

Shao Liang made two more calls in succession, arranging his route back to the country. Just as he put down the phone and picked up his teacup.

Rumble——!

A massive tremor suddenly erupted, and in an instant, the entire villa began to shake. The teacup in his hand fell to the ground with a "clatter," shattering into pieces. The next second, the earthquake siren blared through the skies over Kokang.

"Mr. Shao, it seems like there’s an earthquake!"

"Go!"

Shao Liang remained calm, got up and shattered the window with an elbow strike, covered his head, and jumped onto the villa’s lawn.

The tremor lasted for over a dozen seconds.

Seeing things calm down, one of his n received a call, turned back imdiately with wide eyes.

"Mr. Shao, our people say the Jinyuan Building has disappeared, like it fell into the ground! It’s probably related to the underground mines the Bai Family secretly dug!"

"What!?"

Shao Liang’s face changed suddenly, his eyes shifting several tis, "Go! The Bai Family and the warlord faction will both suffer from this disaster, and soon they’ll turn their attention to . This cooperation has failed, we must leave Northern Myanmar imdiately! Get the car ready!"

"Mr. Shao, what about Dahai..."

"There’s no ti for Dahai now, if I’m dead, nothing else matters!"

"Yes!"

...

Local ti in Northern Myanmar, three in the morning.

The Bai Family’s estate.

The bathroom in the eastern bedroom of the villa.

Chaojun listened to Wa Xueming’s analysis, and his hairs stood on end, his forehead chilled, vision blurred, as if his throat was tightly grasped. "You stay here and wait, I will report this imdiately."

After speaking, he left the room, found a new restroom in the villa, closed the door, and pulled out another old black phone from his pocket.

Fortunately, the Bai Family is in chaos now, severely weakened, many guards and overseers dead, otherwise Chaojun wouldn’t have had this opportunity to send the ssage.

He imdiately edited what Wa Xueming had just said using a special encryption thod, sent it out, removed the phone card, broke it, threw it into the toilet, and pressed the flush button.

In the country, Nuzhou, Dianyun Province.

This is the southwestern frontier, the closest city to Northern Myanmar, and one of the front lines in the anti-drug struggle.

The camp of the border mountain forest inspection team.

A capable middle-aged man was resting on a single bed when suddenly, the phone by his ear vibrated, waking him from his sleep.

Groggily, he reached for his phone, found no ssages, then reached for another and, upon seeing the text, was instantly wide awake.

"It’s a ssage from Chaojun. This phone is our only ergency contact thod; he must have encountered a major situation. Song, translate it imdiately!"

"Yes, Mr. Zhao!"

A young short-haired woman who had been lying on the nearby table rubbed her eyes and found the codebook from the table after hearing her leader’s call.

After fully translating the text ssage, Song was wide-eyed.

Mr. Zhao shone the desk lamp on the paper.

"Shao Liang, male, over 40, slightly overweight, decent features, capable of making a special hallucinogen, extrely addictive, able to control thoughts, making people obedient, delirious, fearless. Entered the country on the 29th."

"A drug maker..."

Mr. Zhao muttered repeatedly, "This is serious! I need to report to the headquarters imdiately. Song, dispose of the phone card right away to avoid exposing Chaojun!"

Turning back, he dialed the deputy captain of the Yunnan Province Anti-Drug Headquarters, "Mr. Wang, I’m sorry to disturb you so late, but I have an important situation..."

"A new type of drug? This matter is significant and cannot be delayed; you must co to the anti-drug headquarters imdiately and prepare to file an investigation!"

"Yes!"

...

Northern Myanmar, the Bai Family estate.

After sending the ssage, Chaojun returned to Wa Xueming’s room, only to find him standing blankly in the bathroom, seeming sowhat at a loss.

Indeed.

Wa Xueming’s mind was in chaos.

He couldn’t imagine how he could do such things in the underground building, costing nearly twenty lives...

He looked down at his hands, even now, the nails were full of indelible blood stains.

"Could it be that I was suffocated too long underground..."

For five years, Wa Xueming was constantly oppressed by overseers, either scolded or beaten, compounded by endless work in dark underground mines, the long-term oppressive environnt twisted his character.

Chaojun squinted his eyes and lowered his voice.

"I’ve reported the ssage to my superiors, and I believe there should be internal actions. As for the 7472 troop, I didn’t disclose anything; you can rest assured."

In fact, he considered secretly revealing Wa Xueming and the 7472 troop’s information to Mr. Zhao.

But Chaojun thought of the locations and identities involved in the three crisis events.

Ethiopia, a South Korean man;

Japan, an Asian woman;

Northern Myanmar, a Xia national man.

The incident locations are sprawled across the globe, making it impossible to grasp any clear pattern, which indirectly suggests that the personnel distribution and intelligence capabilities of 7472 are nearly global.

And the personnel composition indicates that the organization’s mbers mainly hail from Asia, and very likely, their base is situated sowhere in Asia.

Since this is their ho field, Chaojun naturally dared not act recklessly.

If the secret leak of their information is discovered by Wa Xueming and 7472, forcing them to retaliate against himself, he would not only risk falling into danger but also lose a temporary ally, wouldn’t it be "losing the big for the small."

Instead, it’s better to first try to gain their trust and extract more intelligence.
