Upon hearing the order, Gu Ji quickly raised his hand and pinched Gao Bo’s elbow.

Gao Bo simultaneously pinched towards the Nuzhou SWAT in front.

The team quickly circled around the outer wall and approached the main entrance of a three-story villa on the west side, splitting to both sides of the door. The first SWAT officer and Gao Bo’s gun barrels imdiately crossed and dispersed, one aid at the villa where the owner lived on the left, and the other aid at the alley entrance, while another SWAT officer at the back was responsible for rear security.

The sensation of seamlessly setting up their guns following tactical positioning without any verbal communication was indescribably satisfying.

If in a ga scenario, Gu Ji could have a team of equally skilled teammates, he was confident they could take down Jinyuan Building within half an hour.

"Prepare to breach the door."

A regular copper-green painted security door stood before them.

Zhang Wenjun just began to speak.

The first SWAT officer imdiately pointed his gun down, crouched, retrieved a black toolkit from his tactical belt, and revealed an array of tools: a black long needle, a fine hook, pliers, and a lock-pick knife with barbs.

This was a complete technical breaching toolkit.

Technical breaching, which is lock-picking, is the most commonly used thod of cold breaching, especially in Xia Kingdom where residential structures are complex, and populations are dense, making it widely applicable.

A SWAT officer trained in technical breaching can open a standard security door without damage in just over ten seconds.

And inside the breach kit, all tools are coated with a black insulating layer and are non-conductive, to prevent team mbers from getting electrocuted or affected by heat if the conditions behind the door are unknown.

Just as the SWAT officer inserted the lock-pick tool into the lock.

Gao Bo at position two also detached the assault shield from his back and switched from his Type 95 rifle to a Type 92 pistol, standing guard beside him.

The entire assault shield is a standard 950×500mm with GA3 police protection level, weighing around 5.5 kilograms, capable of blocking bullets from a Type 79 submachine gun, sufficient against ordinary ard criminals.

It proved correct.

The technical breaching ability of Xia Kingdom’s SWAT is indeed strong, taking only about 12 seconds before hearing a chanical twist in the lock, and the security door was opened a crack.

Gao Bo imdiately rushed to position one to prepare for entry.

"Three, two, one!"

Zhang Wenjun gave the command, the breaching SWAT officer imdiately opened the security door, and Gao Bo simultaneously stepped forward.

But just at the mont when he was about to rush into the room.

Gu Ji’s ears instinctively twitched, seemingly hearing a crisp spring sound, decisively flicking on the tactical flashlight with his hand holding the gun.

In the blinding white flash, a thread suddenly appeared in view.

"Fall back! There’s a trip wire!"

He shouted urgently, hastily grabbing Gao Bo’s back waistband and pulling him back with all his strength.

What!?

Everyone’s faces changed drastically, Zhang Wenjun quickly shouting: "Fall back, Gao Bo, duck down!"

Gao Bo had just retreated about two ters from the door when there was a "boom" explosion, a flash of fire burst from the dark interior, debris and a fierce blast ripping at the shield in his hands.

Even Gu Ji, hiding at the back, felt a bit of the recoil.

Debris fell to the ground, Zhang Wenjun anxiously inquired through the tactical headset.

"Gao Bo, report your status! Gao Bo!"

"I’m fine!"

Facing the grenade explosion head-on at the front, Gao Bo was only stunned for a second before quickly reacting.

Luckily, spending the past two weeks training in explosive breaching at the base with Gu Ji, he adapted much faster to the impact of explosives.

Gu Ji, hiding behind the shield-carrying Gao Bo, held his gun high, aiming over Gao Bo’s left shoulder, and the tactical flashlight quickly illuminated the doorway.

The flash pierced through the smoke, revealing that inside the room, bits of gravel and wall plaster littered the concrete floor, the corridor, and the start of the staircase leading to the second floor were empty.

"Position two, the doorway corridor is secure!"

Upon hearing Gu Ji’s signal, those hiding behind quickly reacted, led by Shi Zhengmin and Zeng Dan of the national security and Nuzhou’s SWAT, followed by Zhou Penghui.

Only Mr. Zhou’s two narcotics officers were still in shock from the explosion. Though they weren’t rookie cops and had faced weapons before, bomb scenarios in Ningzhou City were indeed rare!

"Prepare to enter!"

Zhang Wenjun shouted another command, pressing the main channel, "Mr. Wang, trip wires found at the security door of building three, suspect key mbers of Shao Liang’s gang are hiding here, requesting backup support!"

Truly a veteran SWAT.

Actually, after checking the point, this thought already passed through Gu Ji’s mind. Those local Nuzhou desperados might fire guns or hack people, but they’d never think of booby trapping with trip wires.

Only soone like Shao Liang, who’s had professional military training, understands this tactic!

Gu Ji lowered his left hand, pinched Gao Bo’s shoulder, and whispered:

"Ready to enter, still good?"

"Yes, no problem."

Gao Bo feigned a calm tone, but Gu Ji could still tell from his slightly trembling movents while getting up that he was a bit nervous.

That’s quite normal.

Recalling his own first barricade at Laird Airport, hiding in a locker, facing ard thugs, he was just as nervous.

"Don’t worry, I’m right behind you!"

After encouraging Gao Bo, Gu Ji gave a glance to the breaching SWAT officer hiding at the doorway, "I’m taking over position two."

"Received, please proceed."

With a slightly surprised look, the technical breaching SWAT officer agreed to Gu Ji’s request, not expecting a SWAT officer who seed so young could remain calm enough to comfort and command others after a trip wire explosion.
