Sure enough, I still have to work with those who have received special professional training.

Eliminate the thug on the second floor.

Gu Ji sprinted like a flying leap, instantly overtaking Jillian and Jamie, rushing forward and turning up to the second floor, and just as he reached halfway up the stairs, his vision caught sight of the sole of a black rubber boot first, then the thug lying on the ground, body twitching, coughing up bloody foam, seemingly fumbling for sothing.

Instinctively, he fired two more shots, and upon seeing the black object in the thug’s hand, he quickly shouted, "It’s a grenade! Fall back!!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, he pressed down on the handrail with his left hand and decisively leaped, jumping forcefully from the second-floor stairs.

Jillian, Jamie, and the others also rushed back.

Bam, at the instant both feet landed, there was a flash of fire and a huge explosion roared above their heads, with several streams of blood mixed with fragnts of flesh flying, splattering, dyeing the moldy wall of the second-floor stairwell red.

Gu Ji stood up, shook his head and patted his ear.

Without noise-cancelling tactical earpieces, the gunfire and grenade explosion were too piercing, making it feel like his hearing had weakened quite a bit.

"Go!"

Once the ringing in his ears subsided, he returned to the second floor, casually replacing the magazine.

The nearby grenade explosion had significant power, blowing the thug’s right arm to pulp, and his side face was completely disfigured, but from his body features, one could vaguely recognize that it was the short "Mole."

"Ugh..."

This grueso scene made Felsen and the other guy with an afro nauseated, struggling to suppress the urge to vomit as their stomach acid churned.

But Gu Ji seed unaffected, instead proactively going closer to take off the tactical headset hanging from the thug’s neck.

Put it on.

"Sandy can’t hold the line, 40 seconds left, prepare to retreat! Modo, get ready to rendezvous at the waste outlet!"

"Aaaaah, hello bruda!"

Boom——!

The sound of a grenade explosion echoed both from the tactical headset and behind the security door on the second-floor stairwell.

"The thugs are assaulting the security room! They won’t last much longer!"

Upon hearing this, the guy with the afro rushed forward, pulling hard on the handle, just as intensive gunfire and nurous panicked screams of passengers erupted inside the second floor of the airport.

Gu Ji noticed the number of "current civilians rescued" at the lower-left corner drop abruptly from 812 to "810."

He raised his gun and ran toward the security area, tossing the walkie-talkie while running, shouting loudly, "Imdiately send two more police officers upstairs for support and surround the second-floor boarding gate!!"

The guy with an afro hurriedly bent to pick up the walkie-talkie.

In front of him, Jillian, Jamie, and Felsen were chasing Gu Ji through the check-in area at full speed.

"Left shop safe!"

"Right diner safe!"

"Rear secure!"

...

With rapid breakthrough, Gu Ji’s team took only seven seconds to sprint from the second-floor stairwell of the airport to the front of the security area; gunfire drew nearer, screams resonated beside him, "Prepare!"

He uttered a low growl.

Gu Ji originally intended to shoulder hold his gun when bursting in, to sowhat shorten the protrusion of the gun barrel, making his body more agile and reducing the risk of the muzzle getting caught in the door fra during a forced entry.

Yet in practice, an idea suddenly sprang to his mind like an instinct, sliding the gun butt out of his shoulder, simultaneously threading his right arm around the gun strap from outside to inside, wrapping around once, tightening, just fixing the gun body.

In this way, his entire gun was equivalent to removing the length of the gun butt, completely transforming into a short rifle akin to one with a folded gun butt, enhancing flexibility similar to the 56-1 and 56-2 folding stocks.

Moreover, by fixing the gun’s body with the gun strap, he sowhat counteracted the recoil shake, ensuring the accuracy of point shooting.

It’s[Gun Proficiency (Minor)]!

Gu Ji scarcely had ti to be amazed by these details enhanced by the imprint, making a quick move to the security corridor, first aiming at the security room’s diagonal, where a figure appeared in his sight, not a thug, but a federal police officer killed in action, when a moving shadow entered his peripheral vision.

Security Room’s Rear Door!

Without a second thought, he decisively spun to redirect his gun and fired, rat-a-tat-tat.

Bullets flew, a thug let out a muffled grunt, wobbled, then imdiately vanished from the backdoor.

"Ah——!"

"Help!"

...

"Retreat! The police are advancing!"

"Die! Die! Blah-blah... rat-a-tat..."

"I said retreat! Damn it!"

As the thugs stord the boarding gate with gunfire, panic exploded among the crowd, countless passengers ran amok, screaming, while discord seed to arise among the thugs, engaging in a heated argunt over the headset.

Gu Ji and the two others burst out of the security room, the boarding gate area plunged into chaos.

A bald, tattooed thug was firing an assault rifle at the frantic escaping crowd, seemingly previously grazed by a bullet, had hindered movents, imdiately grabbing a white woman, pushing a 56-2 assault rifle against the hostage’s lower back, using her as a shield.

anwhile, another masked Cohen who exchanged symbolic shots with Jillian swiftly retreated to the restroom.

"Drop the gun!"

"Back off, all of you!"

"Drop the gun!"

"Back off!"

"Drop the gun right now, this is your last warning!"

The bald, tattooed thug and Gu Ji yelled back and forth, like ferocious beasts fighting over prey, each shout louder than the last, each word quicker and more frantic, emotions flaring up, blood vessels prominent in the eyes, even neck tendons straining from the tension.

Seeing Gu Ji unmoved, he shoved the 56-2 rifle aggressively, thrusting the white woman into a backward arch, her face twisted in terror, tears and snot streaming down, screaming again:
