Now reading: Chapter 348 - 171: Charge (Part 2) from Simulation Game: Crisis Management, a Fantasy novel by Soil土士.

A standard riot police equipnt:

First, an explosion-proof helt with a tempered glass face shield, much more durable than a construction helt;

Second, a soft riot suit that is fireproof, stab-proof, and resistant to blunt impacts, an essential piece of gear for any fight;

Finally, knee, elbow, and leg guards made from engineering plastic, highly protective against falls, strikes, and slashes.

Anyone with a basic understanding of history knows that in ancient tis, "armor was not banned, but knives were," because compared to knives, armor significantly increased combat effectiveness. The riot police’s equipnt is equivalent to ancient armor; not even bare-handed, even if the enemy holds a vegetable knife, it’s hard to cause any harm unless firearms are used.

The reason they were knocked down by villagers earlier was simply because they didn’t have the advantage in numbers.

Once the troops form a scale advantage like now, coupled with an excellent commander like Gu Ji, they move out in a dense formation, switching between offense and defense in ti, one falls, and the next stronger one follows.

To deal with such a force, you’d need a large amount of manpower, firearms, sufficient quantity and caliber, explosives, heavy armor, logistics support, organization, etc., to face them...

Don’t have them?

Well, sorry, I’m invincible under the army!

This is the real combat power of the riot squad.

Watching the villagers crumble, several distinguished landowners hurriedly urged the Midnapore officials to take action, but the special zone governnt’s police also found themselves in a difficult position.

Even if they joined the fight with batons, it wouldn’t be effective because the riot squad had already ford a charge formation, montum unstoppable;

If they used guns, that also wouldn’t work.

Not to ntion 16 soldiers from the special border forces ard with assault rifles trailing behind Gu Ji, professional soldiers; and those two ard military helicopters hovering above them crushed any thought of resistance.

This is the overwhelming force of ard superiority!

"We can’t let them through!"

"Everyone stay together! We must not let them go up the mountain!"

"Quickly! Hurry, hurry!"

...

Just as the riot squad prepared to break through the villagers’ barricade and enter the mountain road, a few elderly villagers, shouting as they locked arms and shoulders, ford a human barricade at the narrow pass of the road.

With this, the few riot police at the front of the wedge formation found it difficult to push forward.

Seeing this thod working, other villagers quickly joined the mass, dozens hugging together like a large boulder, blocking the road entrance, leaving the riot squad unable to push forward, unable to break it apart even with long police batons.

Just when the villagers thought their thod worked.

Unexpectedly, Gu Ji shouted loudly, "Fire trucks! Prepare high-pressure water guns!"

Whoosh...

The next second, three fire trucks started their engines, ca to the foot of the mountain, several firefighters jumped off the trucks, two held the guns, and one was in charge of turning the water valve.

"Release!"

Ssshh——!

As Gu Ji gave the order, high-pressure water surged out like a sharp lance, roaring from the nozzle, ringing like spring water hitting rocks, and unstoppable like a tiger in a flock of sheep!

The power of the high-pressure water gun was far greater than the riot police’s strength. Coupled with the suffocating spray, the feeling of being soaked to the skin, and slippery footing, all villagers hit by the water were inevitably knocked into the accumulating water.

Hardly forming a mass, they were sprayed apart in just a few seconds.

Seizing the mont, Gu Ji let the riot squad move in, the police pushed and prodded, with the high-pressure water gun aiding, soon seizing the mountain road.

"Colonel! Marlo! It’s your turn!"

"Received!"

In the rear, Swaraj and Marlo didn’t expect Gu Ji to breach the villagers’ blockade so swiftly, though they were already poised to act. Upon hearing the command, the pickup vehicle drivers floored the gas, tires splashing waves of water, charging like two rampaging bulls towards the road entrance.

Just as they reached the narrow passage, the riot squad instinctively split into two columns, clearing a path.

The mountain road no longer blocked, they finally turned successfully into the Farakka Dam!

"Excellent, Vidi!"

Fatima shouted excitedly, for they had struggled much to reach this stage. Gu Ji turned to have the firefighters follow quickly into the mountains, "Chief Secretary, get the engineering team in imdiately to blast a breach in the dam to release the flood!"

"Mr. Vidhi, no need to worry, I’ve already arranged for them on the way!"

The Chief Secretary, with a purple headscarf, wiped the rain from his face and answered earnestly, seemingly also impressed by Gu Ji’s command.

As the deputy head of the West Bengal governnt, equivalent to a deputy provincial governor, he naturally understood the capabilities of the special zone’s riot squad, initially thinking it would take two more ergency teams to suppress the uprising villagers. But unexpectedly, Gu Ji managed with only 150 n and three firefighting vehicles to breach the line and quell the uprising.

This level of command could an a rare military talent.

"You must be the mastermind behind organizing this village uprising, right? You are already suspected of interfering with Central Cabinet Governnt and military operations, and we have the authority to remove you from the scene!"

Gu Ji followed the riot squad onto the road, but he hadn’t forgotten the corpulent deadweight.

Without him, there wouldn’t have been that youth and corrupt cop secretly plotting against him.

"Silence! Don’t pin false accusations. This is Kunaler, the Chief Commissioner of the Midnapore Special Zone! Which eye did you see us orchestrating this? It’s all spontaneous actions by the villagers!"

Before the fat guy could speak, the accompanying secretary jumped out to loudly refute.

Gu Ji couldn’t be bothered to argue further with him.

"I don’t care who you are. As a local governnt official, not cooperating with the Central Cabinet’s mission and instead inciting villagers to block rescue actions is a grave cri. Rest assured, I’ve reported your actions to the Cabinet Intelligence Organization, so get ready for jail! Take him away!"

"You dare!!"

Kunaler’s eyes bulged in anger, heaving his belly with fat trembling.

But beside him, the riot police, having witnessed a "battle" like this, now shared the Chief Secretary’s respect for Gu Ji’s capabilities. So, after he gave the order, two policen rushed up imdiately to apprehend Kunaler.

"What are you doing! I’m the Chief Commissioner of the Midnapore Special Zone! Do you even know the party backing ? Dare touch , and I’ll have you all fired! Summit! Arrest this nonsense-spouting brat for !"

Kunaler’s backing seed solid, still refusing to submit, even trying to get the nearby police chief to act.

The two were like grasshoppers tied to the sa rope, and if the Chief Commissioner really got taken away now, all previous efforts would be in vain.

The tall, mustachioed cop known as Summit imdiately stood to block the riot police, "This is West Bengal, you’re just a Central Cabinet relief commissioner, what gives you the right to interfere with local officials! Villagers, they’re just taking over and destroying your dam like this, preventing you from returning ho, holess and displaced, are you willing?!"

"Not willing!"

"Let’s all go inside the dam, stop them even if it costs our lives!"

"Right! No money, no blasting!"

...

Those villagers repelled by the riot squad, upon hearing Summit’s words, were agitated again, not continuing to confront the riot police but rushing through the pass towards the Farakka Dam’s central control room.

Oh no!

Gu Ji realized instantly, urgently urging the riot squad to form a horizontal line to block the pass, but it was a step too late as seventy to eighty villagers surged up the mountain.

He hurried after them with Fatima.

Upon entering the central control room, villagers were seen fighting the border troops for explosives, clinging to the dam walls, preventing firefighters from drilling, using every ans to obstruct the blasting.

"Fatima! Have the Chief Secretary dispatch two more riot police teams, get inside the dam and take away all the trouble-making villagers!"

Gu Ji commanded while quickly running to the command and monitoring center.

"Reservoir water level...damn!!"
