I slipped under it as its claws whizzed past the top of my head, before a deafening roar rang out as I tore off a chunk of its stomach with Ravage, before jamming my blade into the wound and racing across, dragging the blade along its flesh and inflicting a long, horizontal gash across its stomach, steadily restoring my MP and stamina as Desecrator transferred the Monster’s Mana and health to .

My blade slipped out as the Wyvern shot up into the air with a powerful flap of its wings, launching itself up before snapping its jaws open and unleashing a large swirling sphere of water down towards .

I raised the jaws of Ravage above myself and expanded them, swallowing up most of the water, the rest splashing across the ground around , before I sprinted across as the Monster swooped down towards , its feet slamming against the ground with a devastating impact, triggering a slight shockwave as bits of dirt and mud flew out all around it.

I stumbled slightly as the shockwave hit , before raising my blade up defensively as the Wyvern swung its left foot across towards , a sharp clang ringing out as its claws collided against Desecrator, the impact jarring my arms as cracks spread out across its claws, my feet sliding back across the ground from the force of its strike.

That hurt.

Those wings are annoying. It’s ti I clip them.

As I shot towards it, it began to spread out its wings, starting to fly up, before I swiftly chanted...

The Wyvern snarled and shook its head as its pupils dilated, letting out a strained exhale, right as I leapt up towards up, a roar of pain ringing out as I jamd my blade into its right shoulder, tightening my grip on the handle before leveraging it to launching myself up and onto its back, wrenching the blade out of its flesh.

I grabbed onto its dorsal fin, turning my gaze towards its right wing and sent Ravage shooting out towards the base of the wing, a deafening roar of pain echoing out and reverbing across the space as the jaws snapped shut around the base of its wing.

A crash rang out as its wing fell off, a violent spray of blood bursting out of the stump left around its right shoulder, the Monster thrashing about in pain as I held Desecrator between my teeth and planted my palm onto the Wyvern’s back, as it began to raise its left leg.

The Monster shuddered and roared in pain as streaks of blood sprayed out through the gaps between the scales around that spot, before I leapt off its back as it tried to claw off with its back leg.

My feet hit the ground with a soft thud before I swiftly backed away several paces, leaping across the space, as the Wyvern unleashed a furious barrage of pressurized water balls, which crashed onto the ground as I weaved across the muddy terrain and evaded its attacks.

I deactivated Ravage to conserve my MP as I ca to a sliding halt a fair distance away from the Monster, taking a breath to relax my body.

Hm, even a full powered Mana Pulse didn’t have much of an effect.

It must be less effective on larger Monsters...since the flow of their Mana is spread out a lot wider throughout their bodies than with smaller Monsters, the impact of Mana Pulse likely ends up getting more spread out and dispersed.

No matter. I don’t need Mana Pulse to kill it.

Oh, it seems the Wyvern isn’t attacking, it’s keeping its distance now. But that won’t make a difference.

"Are you afraid? It seed like you already shook off the secondary effect of Spite, which ans...this fear is natural," I remarked, as I began to approach it.

The Wyvern growled threateningly, before snapping open its jaws and unleashing an ear-splitting, deafening howl, a foul stench bursting out as it bellowed as loudly as it could, flecks of saliva flying out of its mouth.

"Is that supposed to be a threat? Are you trying to scare ? A futile effort. You will die, that much is inevitable. But don’t worry, you won’t go to waste. Once I consu you, every ounce of your being will fuel into growing stronger," I stated, before sprinting towards it rapidly.

I zigged across to my left as it stomped its foot down towards as I closed in, before I leapt towards it, chanting to manifest Ravage and sent it zipping up towards the Monster’s throat.

It quickly arched its body back while simultaneously swinging its left wing out towards , I raised Desecrator in front of myself defensively, which pierced through the flap of its wing before the force of its strike knocked away, right as Ravage chomped off a chunk of its chest.

I got sent flying back a few ters through the air, twisting my body across to regain my balance, my feet skidding back across the mud as I landed, right as a rapid, swirling water ball ca shooting towards .

I crossed my arms in front of myself defensively, the water ball slamming onto my arms, pushing back several ters as my feet slid along the muddy ground, twinges of pain erupting across my forearms as the impact fractured the bones, right as the Wyvern charged towards with a murderous snarl, leaping forward as it closed on, its jaws wide open.

I raised my right foot forward as its jaws closed in on , driving it down and slamming it onto the inside of the Monster’s lower jaw, its fangs nicking the back of my calf, while simultaneously plunging my blade straight through the roof of its mouth, the tip of the blade poking out the top of its snout, before I sent Ravage zipping up towards the top of its head...
