Now reading: Chapter 136: The Hunters Championship Clash (Part 9) from Sinner System, a Fantasy novel by Aimdaqs.

A fiery burst erupted around Ariella as she chanted, intense flas swirling around her before wrapping around her entire body, the space inside the barrier shimring as the flas intensified.

Her hair stood up on end and burst ablaze, transforming into roaring crimson flas, her green eyes gleaming brightly and her entire body emanating an intense, fiery glow.

This must be what she hinted at when we spoke earlier...Blaze Ignition, that isn’t an existing Fire Attribute Skill, aning it’s a Skill she discovered on her own.

Incredible, that’s extrely rare.

Oh, yeah, I guess I have. This looks a lot more impressive though.

The flas swirling around Ariella settled as her new Skill finished taking effect, the floor of the arena around her feet steadily charring and blackening from the heat her body was generating.

She had a wide, frenzied smirk on her face, I’ve never seen her looking so amped up...is it a side effect of the Skill?

Suddenly, her gaze darted across to the right, before she swung her arm out, the back of her fist colliding against sothing, a fierce blast of flas erupting out of her fist upon impact.

I stared in benusent as Ariella laughed gleefully, before saying sothing...

Ariella rushed forward with a fiery burst from her heels, before leaping forward as she raised her arms and balled her fists together, flas erupting around them as she swung them down.

Her fists slamd onto the floor of the arena with a devastating impact, an intense, fiery shockwave of heat exploding as deep cracks spread out from the point of impact, the part of the floor around that spot charred black.

Her gaze shifted to her left as Trent reappeared, sweat pouring down his face...based on what I know, the Stealth Skill uses up a ton of Mana to maintain, most Assassins use it as a trump card to sneak up on an enemy, it’s not supposed to be used continuously for too long in this manner.

He likely thought that he had this fight in the bag and saw no reason to play it safe, so he recklessly used that Skill despite it draining his Mana...yup, based on Appraisal, he’s down to less than forty percent of his Mana.

Ariella launched herself towards him with another pressurized burst of flas from her heels, zipping through the air before unleashing a rapid thrust of her fist towards his head.

He narrowly ducked under it, her fist zipping over the top of his head before he gritted his teeth and unfurled a vicious upward slash of one of his blades at her face.

He stiffened as she caught the blade between her teeth, a trickle of blood running down as the edge of the blade nicked the left corner of her mouth, before she grabbed either side of his head and pushed it down while simultaneously driving her knee up.

Her knee slamd square onto the middle of his face, right before an intense of flas erupted from her knee upon impact, sending him flying back as streaks of blood sprayed out, his back hitting the arena several ters back and skidding back across the floor.

His nose was burnt and badly broken, blood streaming out, and he had burns across his cheeks too.

That fiery glow around her entire body, hit any spot on her and the impact triggers an intense burst of searing heat.

This is so Skill she’s developed.

But given how powerful it is, it likely consus a trendous amount of Mana to maintain, she should wrap this up quickly.

As Trent shakily got back onto his feet, he stiffened as she ca rushing in towards him, lightning erupting around his blades as he lunged forward and slashed at her throat with his left blade as she closed in on him.

She drove her right fist up, striking the middle of his forearm before his blade could reach her, before he yelled out in pain as a fiery explosion burst out upon impact, his blade falling out of his grasp and skidding away as it hit the floor, before he gritted his teeth and unleashed a rapid thrust of his right blade straight at the middle of her face.

She quickly tilted her head across, a shallow cut appearing across her right cheek as the blade grazed her, before her hand shot up and grabbed his forearm, wisps of smoke billowing out as she tightened her grip and pulled him off-balance with a sharp tug, slamming her forehead against his.

Another explosion of flas burst out of her forehead upon impact, a dazed look appearing in Trent’s eyes as he shakily stumbled back, a deep, seared burn across the middle of his forehead.

Ariella rushed forward and unleashed a fierce barrage of poweeful strikes, her fists slamming against his torso in repeated, rapid succession, a chain of blazing explosions bursting out with each impact, before he got sent hurtling back through the air at a breakneck speed.

His back slamd onto the wall of the barrier before he slumped to the ground, coughing out blood as he shakily tried to get back onto his feet, his entire body trembling in pain, before he froze as she sprinted towards him with imnse speed.

He desperately tried to scramble out of the way as she arched her right arm back, her palm open and her fingers extended straight, intense flas swirling and compressing around her hand as she closed in and drove her arm towards his right eye with a sharp, sudden burst of speed as pressurized heat erupted out from behind her elbow.

He vanished as her hand closed in on his eye, streaks of flas bursting out as she struck the barrier, intense ripples erupting out across the entire barrier from the point of impact, as Trent reappeared outside the barrier.

The flas surrounding her began to dissipate, the fiery glow around her body disappearing as her hair returned to normal.

She was struggling to catch her breath, her hands on her knees as sweat poured down her face.

Looks like that Skill takes a toll on her, though it certainly doesn’t seem anywhere near as severe as the toll Enrage takes on .

What a destructive Skill, it’s so powerful.

No way I can fight that in my normal state...even with Enrage, I’d be maybe evenly matched at best.

Damn, that really got pumped up, she’s gotten even stronger than I expected. I’ve got one hell of a challenge coming up in my next match, I can hardly wait...
