"Hm? Get lost. Anyone who gets in my way dies," He growled in response.
Pieter Driech, an Ace from Sanctuary Epsilon, in the southern region of Africa. He was in his thirties, with short, spiky dark blonde hair, gray eyes, a tanned complexion, and was of average height and build.
The whites of his eyes were black, and the upper left part of his face, around his eye, was covered in red, scaly skin, he had a Demon-like tail too, and his nails had turned into black claws.
He’s a pretty high-level Ice Mage, if I rember right.
He was known to be a raging alcoholic with major anger issues...on multiple occasions, he’d attacked other Hunters who provoked him, beating them near to death, and he’d even killed soone while driving drunk.
But he’s the son of a wealthy, influential politician in Sanctuary Epsilon, so he got away with all of it, though that wasn’t enough to save his reputation, of course.
He’d just attacked a bar, killing everyone inside and helping himself to the liqour, a couple of empty bottles laying on the floor, by his feet.
"Hey, has the area been evacuated yet?" I muttered, tapping on the earpiece communicator over my right ear, as he chugged down a bottle of tequila.
"Not yet, but almost...it shouldn’t take longer than a couple more minutes," Responded the Union staff mber I was on call with.
"Hey, didn’t y-you hear ? Get losht already!" Snapped Pieter, before flinging the tequila bottle at as he finished it.
I tilted my head across to evade it, before letting out a sigh as I reached for my left hip, taking hold of the handle of my sword and drawing it out.
"Alright, hard way, it is. I’ll at least try to take you alive, so try not to die," I responded, before I swiftly shot towards him.
"You bitch...!" He snarled, firing off a barrage of icicles towards with a wild swing of his arm.
I managed to block and deflect most of them with my blade, but a couple of the icy projectiles grazed , shallow cuts appearing on my left cheek and right side.
He cast that without chanting, and pretty fast too, it’ll be tough to get close.
My eyes then widened before I sprang back and raised my blade as he fired out a blast of dark energy at from his mouth, narrowly blocking it with the flat of my blade, before he suddenly raised his right hand towards , a narrow ice spike extending out with imnse speed.
A sharp clang rang out as it slamd onto the flat of my blade in the blink of an eye, my feet skidding back across the floor as cracks spread out across my blade, before I shattered the spike with a rapid swipe of my fist, striking the side of it.
I quickly leapt behind a table as a rapid barrage of slicing ice disks and Negative Energy blasts ca shooting towards , before racing across as the table broke apart rapidly as the attacks peppered it.
One of the ice disks grazed my right bicep as I twisted my body across right in the nick of ti, before tilting my head to the right as fast as I could as a drilling burst of dark energy ca shooting towards my face, tearing the edge of my left ear apart as it grazed that spot.
My eyes then widened before I backed away towards the entrance as fast as a could, a burst of cold air erupting around him as a thick mist billowed out, right before dozens of massive ice spikes burst out around him, loud crashes ringing out before I rushed to raise my blade up as a rapid blast of Negative Energy ca shooting towards .
My blade snapped in half as the blast collided against it, my back hitting the ground outside as the force of the blast launched through the entrance, skidding back a few ters.
I grimaced before springing back onto my feet, several large ice spikes protruding out of the windows and roof of the building, cracks spreading out across the walls as I spotted Pieter approaching the entrance, a cold mist surrounding him.
"I-I told you to get losht, b-but you...you refushed to listen! I jusht...j-jusht wanted a fucking drink, damn it!" He snarled, stepping out of the bar as the building began to collapse, loud crashes ringing out as a thick cloud of dust rose up behind him.
"Yeah? You could’ve got that drink without murdering everyone in the building. I seriously doubt you couldn’t have afforded it," I responded dryly.
"Sh-Shut up, don’t...don’t talk down to m-, bitch!" He snapped furiously, a massive, spiky block of ice forming appearing above him as he raised his hand with a deranged look in his eyes.
Well, that’s not good-...
"The vicinity has been evacuated, there are no civilians in the area!"
Finally!
"[Explosion Spear Scattershot]!" I exclaid, firing off a barrage of rapid explosive spears towards the block of ice he’d ford, chills running down my spine as the delightful symphony of a chain of deafening explosions rang out, shattering the ice to bits.
As he turned his gaze up with a startled look on his face, before I raced forward at top speed, firing off a rapid explosive projectile straight at him with a swift chant.
His eyes widened before he quickly ford a chunk of ice in front of himself, a sharp yell ringing out as my explosion struck the ice and erupted with a glorious boom, drowning out his yell as he got blown away, crashing onto the pile of rubble behind him.
"Co on, that all you’ve got?! I’m just getting started here!" I exclaid with a grin, my chest pounding as the adrenaline pumped through my veins...
