"And this is your office. Of course, I’ll handle all the administrative work, so you won’t need to be in here all that often, I’ll just need you to sign and approve so stuff every now and then."
"Sounds good, thanks. I’ll be counting on you," I nodded with a polite smile.
Today’s the 10th of November, 2169, a little over a week has passed since the other X-Aces visited Sanctuary Theta.
On the 5th, the changes to the Guilds were announced to the public, and it wasn’t just Theta, every single Sanctuary were making similar changes to their Guilds.
As for here in Sanctuary Theta, the Paragon Guild and Dragon Slayer Guild were abolished.
How exactly the Hunters who were a part of those two Guilds would be divided among the remaining and new Guilds, that would be announced today.
I’ll soon find out who’ll be joining the Sinners Guild, I requested to have at least a few Hunters I was already familiar with, people I already know and get along with.
That might be a tough request to fulfill, though.
Most of the Hunters I know well are pretty high-level, and since the Sinners Guild has been established primarily to handle Calamity Level Dungeons, lower-ranked Hunters would be out of their depth here.
We’ll also deal with any excess High and Critical Level Dungeons, but it’s highly unlikely that we’ll be given any Low and Mid Level Dungeons, so we’ll need to focus on quality over quantity.
We could maybe afford to have a handful of Q-Ranked Support Mages, but as far as Combatants and Attack Mages go, K-Rank is the bare minimum.
In a bit of a surprising twist, the Union had decided to have the final exams at the Academies a bit earlier than usual.
The average Rank Potential this year is unusually high, especially here in the Sanctuary Theta branch of the Academy, so the Union figured it’d be best to induct them into Guilds while things are still peaceful.
Graduation is scheduled for today’s, it’s probably happening right now.
But instead of bidding on the graduates, the Union will assign them to the Guilds based on their abilities and ensure that the balance between the Guilds remains intact.
I think there are four students with Ace Potential in the Sanctuary Alpha Academy this year, which is a record, there’s never been more than two students with Ace Potential in any branch of the Academy in any given year.
Anyway, it was currently around midday, and with the building for the Sinners Guild ready, Aria and I had dropped by to check it out.
Charlotte had assigned a number of staff to the Guild, including a secretary, who would be handling all the administrative stuff and paperwork, she was currently showing us around.
"This is pretty cool. It’s even got a naplate with your na on it," Grinned Aria, as she walked over towards the desk.
"Yes, we’ve fully furnished the building, all the facilities are ready to be used," The secretary inford us.
Think she said her na was Tracy Perry...since we’ll probably have to interact with her pretty regularly, I should rember her na.
She looks like she’s in her mid-thirties or so, with dium-long, straight black hair that went a few inches past her shoulders, black eyes, and a fair complexion.
She was about average height, with an attractive, curvy figure. She wore rectangular-frad blue glasses, and she wore a red shirt with a dark blue tie, and a black skirt that went down to her knees.
She isn’t a Hunter, she doesn’t have any powers, so her main job here is to take care of the administrative tasks of the Guild.
This building used to be the headquarters of the Dragon Slayer Guild, but since it’s vacant now, it was given to us.
It’s not too different to the Diva Guild’s HQ, it’s got a bunch of training rooms and an arena for sparring, a cafeteria, gym, pool, and an armory for equipnt and weapons.
But one thing it has that the Diva Guild didn’t is a sort of dormitory.
The top floor had several rooms that the mbers of the Guild could reserve for short periods to stay over at the Guild, each individual can reserve a room for a week per month at most.
Doubt Aria and I will need to use that, our apartnt building is only a couple of kiloters away from the Guild, so it’s a pretty short commute for us.
Oh, and Aria is going to hold the title of Vice-Guildmaster, basically a second-in-command for the Guild whenever I’m busy with a raid or anything else.
All the other Guilds will be implenting the sa thing, the Guildmasters will be allowed to pick a Vice-Guildmaster from their mbers. I think it’s mainly for show, but whatever.
"By the way, I’d like to get a list of everyone who’s going to be assigned to the Sinners Guild, I thought I’d have been given one by now," I remarked, as I glanced inquiringly at Tracy.
"I, uh...sorry, the Chairwoman asked to keep it from you, she thought it’d be more entertaining to see you react to so of them in-person. She told to send the list of mbers to you after that," She explained sheepishly.
Of course she did.
"I see, then I’m assuming there’s a handful of people I know that’ll be joining this Guild?"
"Yes, they’ll be arriving here any minute now, actually, so-...oh, right on cue," She responded, as she got a notification on her I-Watch.
"What’s up?" Inquired Aria, as she bounded over.
"The mbers of the Sinner Guild whom you’re already familiar with have just arrived. I’ll take you to them right away, they’re in the lobby...oh, and the Chairwoman has been given temporary access to the security cara in the lobby," Tracy inford with an apologetic smile.
"Yeah, I figured as much. Well, whatever, it’s fine. Lead the way."
