I triumphantly clenched my fist with a smile as the target got onto its feet and raised its arms, before an alard screech rang out as it regained consciousness.
I drew out Desecrator and whipped the blade across, slicing the Monster’s head off and putting it out of its misery.
Yeah, this is definitely one hell of a ga changer, I had no idea it would work at all.
Well, I an, it’s not like I ever had the opportunity to do so, the Monsters I ran into in the Dungeons were always wide awake.
About a week has passed since I added Ira to the ranks of my Apostles of Sin, we’ve been fleshing out our plans in great detail over the last few days, making sure to be as thorough as possible.
The others were currently off attacking various Monster territories. Acedia and Ira were both by themselves, while the other three were grouped up.
Acedia wasn’t too happy about it, he figured being alone would an a lot more work, but grudgingly as it was, he complied nonetheless.
As for , I’d hung back by the hideout, and a few minutes ago, I spotted a Roc flying above, the High Level evolved form of Wind Harpies.
I shot it down by blasting its wings, knocked it out and then used Command on it to see if it’d work on an unconscious target.
And sure enough, it did.
Despite the Monster’s wings having gotten wrecked by my blasts, it still raised its arms, and then abruptly regained consciousness.
I also tested it out on Acedia a few days ago, I used Lethargy and Slumber to put him to sleep, which was pretty easy since he didn’t resist at all...actually, he kinda embraced it instead.
And when I used Command on him, he woke up with a start a second or two after his body began carrying out the effect I’d chanted, and he was pretty grumpy at being woken up like that.
On another note, about three days after I used Subjugate on Ira, Ai finished reconfiguring my Sinner System.
By removing the now-obsolete stat-increasing effects of my Gluttony Skills, she was able to refine and improve so of my other Skills.
She wasn’t able to change anything with Command, it’s still the sa, costs 10 MP per target, has a five minute cooldown per target and the effects last for a maximum of thirty seconds.
My Greed Skills, on the other hand, both got pretty significant improvents. Treasury’s capacity has increased from a hundred slots to five hundred, which I definitely needed, I was starting to run out of space in there.
I had multiple items cramd into almost every slot, but that isn’t a concern anymore, there’s more than enough room in there now.
As for Appraisal, it used to cost 5 MP to activate, which wasn’t a lot even back when I was a lot weaker, and now it costs just 1 MP, which is basically nothing with the amount of Mana I possess at this point.
As for my Lust Skills, the range of Aphrodisia has increased from fifteen ters to twenty-five ters, though the five minute cooldown and 20 MP activation cost are still the sa. Arouse is still the sa, though, Ai wasn’t able to make any changes to it.
Moving on to my Sloth Skills, Lethargy’s cooldown has been halved, from thirty minutes to fifteen, sa with Slumber, from a one hour cooldown to half an hour. The activation costs are still the sa, 15 MP for the forr and 25 MP for the latter.
Next, my Wrath Skills. Both the ti limit and cooldown of Enrage has been greatly refined, I can stay in that form for fifteen minutes instead of ten now, and the cooldown has been halved from an hour to half an hour.
As for Obliterate, the cooldowns are completely gone now. Honestly, that hardly makes a difference...the Rage ter appears so rarely that the cooldown was kinda redundant.
It used to have a cooldown of one minute per percentage...in other words, if I fired Obliterate with the Rage ter at ten percent, it’d take ten minutes before I could use it again, even if I did feel any rage.
So, yeah, that cooldown isn’t a thing anymore, but more importantly...I can now use Obliterate while Enrage is active.
And while using Enrage, my Rage ter is constantly at a hundred percent, and replenishes instantly whenever I fire it.
I can choose how much to fire too, I don’t have to fire out the entire hundred percent in one go.
However, using Obliterate while Enrage is active shrinks the ti limit, one second per percentage used. In other words, if I fire out Obliterate at, say, twenty percent, I’ll instantly lose twenty seconds of my ti limit.
So, the five minute increase to my ti limit with Enrage is invaluable, those extra three hundred seconds an that I could potentially fire off three full-powered beams of Obliterate and still have ten minutes left in Enrage.
And finally, my Envy Skills. Nothing changed with Steal, but that’s fine. It might be the Skill I’ve used the least number of tis, I honestly forget I even have it sotis.
As for Spite, the only change is that the cooldown has reduced from thirty minutes to fifteen minutes.
Oh, and no changes were made to the passive effects of each of my Classes of Sin, Ai wasn’t able to affect those.
Sa goes for the other abilities I’ve developed and acquired, like Mana Pulse and Descent.
Since those abilities aren’t a part of the Sinner System, Ai doesn’t have any real control over them, so yeah.
I’m definitely not complaining though, so of these changes are certain to make a massive difference.
On another note, I wonder how the others are doing? They’ve probably begun their attacks by now. Hope it’s going smoothly out there...
