This was the entrance to the lower levels.
"Thank you, Miss Anita, we’re heading down now."
After speaking, Kane used a summoning artifact to call forth the goblins for the team.
Once the goblins were summoned, Kane didn’t waste words with them, instead swiftly kicking each one into the tunnel.
Then, signaling to Kreya and the others, he rode Cotton Candy and flew into the mist.
Beneath the church’s statue, Anita knelt, closed her eyes, and began praying for Kane and everyone.
Passing through the mist led them to a space, where Kane opened Eagle Eye to observe the surroundings. The goblins also landed safely.
They detected no magic reactions around. Kane jumped off Cotton Candy and promptly canceled the noisy goblins’ summoning.
Noisy cannon fodder.
After a while, Kreya appeared, one after another.
This level remained on the surface, though the stars that once twinkled in the night sky were nowhere to be seen.
All the light sources ca from a mountain ahead, where blue torches lined the stone walls, and nurous blue ghost fires floated nearby.
Only one road lay before Kane and his group, winding its way up the mountain until it disappeared from view.
However, Kane and his group were not at the mountain’s base but rather at its midpoint.
For now, Kane and his group weren’t planning to ascend but intended to find a suitable place to set up camp and rest for the night.
Clearing the entire city of undead was not a trivial task.
