Taking a seat at the group’s table, Kreya handed Kane his utensils as the setting sun cast through the windows, illuminating their table.
The table was already covered with plenty of food.
As the sun completely set outside, Kane and the others had finished eating, except for Kreya, who was now relaxing and chatting in their chairs.
"Now that everyone is in the silver rank, I plan to let the team rest for a week. After a week, we’ll regroup in Lion City. What do you all think?"
After hearing Kane’s proposal, the group began to ponder.
"A week’s rest sounds good. I plan to return to Crystal Town, visit my brother, and maybe brag a little about my journey. How about you, izike? Want to co along?"
Longbei tapped izike on the shoulder.
After considering Longbei’s question, izike nodded in agreent.
Kreya had finished her food as well and, after elegantly wiping her mouth with a napkin, said, "It’s a good suggestion. A week is just right; I need to return ho to tell my family that I’ve upgraded to silver."
After seeing everyone’s agreent, Kane turned his gaze to Lilulu, who was fluttering around.
Sensing Kane’s attention, Lilulu flew over with her head bowed.
With her hands clasped behind her back, head down at her shoes: "Lilulu sneaked out on her own. If she goes back now, Lorice would surely give her a hard ti."
Kane patted Lilulu’s head reassuringly, saying, "Then shouldn’t you report back that you’re safe? Plus, now that you’re a Silver Explorer, it’s the perfect chance to prove to them you’re capable of living independently. I’m sure your family will understand and feel proud of you."
Lilulu raised her head to look at Kane, "Really?"
"Of course, when have I ever lied to you?"
"Alright then."
Just as the team continued comforting Lilulu.
A flash of green darted over.
"Lilulu!"
Upon hearing the voice, Lilulu’s expression brightened, and all her earlier worries seed to vanish as she flapped her wings cheerfully towards it.
It was none other than Lilulu’s friend, the little elf Philis.
