Now reading: Chapter 186: Return to the Explorer’s House from Skill Extraction: Exploring Dungeons, a Game novel by Drink Coke.

The sun hung high in the sky.

The surrounding darkness disappeared, and dazzling light ca into view.

In the early morning, Kane packed his belongings and teleported to Lion City through the teleportation station at the dungeon outpost.

As soon as he arrived at the teleportation station, the noise from the crowd, along with the sounds of guards organizing order, mixed with curses and disputes, reached his ears.

After being away for a few days, the teleportation station in Lion City was still bustling with people, exceptionally noisy.

Kane followed the flow of people, maneuvering through the crowded crowd, and left the teleportation station, heading towards the conspicuous building not far away.

Perhaps because the hype around the "Crystalline Arena" dungeon had subsided sowhat, although there were still more explorers coming to the Explorer’s House than before, it was significantly less than when the news first broke.

Upon entering the entrance of the Explorer’s House, he imdiately saw Adoma at the counter, receiving an explorer.

Kane waited by the side for a while, waiting for Adoma to send off the explorer before approaching.

"Adoma, long ti no see."

Hearing soone call her, Adoma turned her head, and the tal ornants on her sheep horns clattered as she turned.

"Kane," seeing Kane’s appearance surprised her a bit, and she looked behind him, disappointed to find no one else there.

"What are you looking for, I ca alone."

Kane obviously knew who Adoma was looking for, truly as stubborn as ever.

"Hm, that’s truly unfortunate," Adoma said with a pout.

Then she restored her serious expression and asked Kane, "So what brings you here this ti, do you need any help?"

She had long seen through Kane, knowing he would never step into the Explorer’s House unless he needed sothing.

Kane didn’t answer her question but instead walked forward and took out the silver card Wilhelm had given him from his space equipnt, placing it in front of Adoma.

Adoma picked up the card and then took out a square thin plate seemingly made of transparent glass from underneath the counter, placing the card on top.

The plate emitted a faint red glow, turning into a blue light after two seconds.

Confirming the authenticity of the card, Adoma looked up to scrutinize Kane in front of her, her eyeballs moving up and down.

Kane felt a bit uneasy under her gaze and asked, "What’s wrong? Is there sothing wrong with this card?"

Adoma withdrew her gaze and stared at Kane, "Of course, there’s no problem, I just want to know where you’ve pulled off another big thing. Can the Warrior of the Mist always be involved in these major events?"

After teasing Kane a bit, Adoma picked up the card and said, "This card represents a dium rit rewarded by the Mist Council, which can be used to receive the required rewards at Exploration Houses or Mist Council branches in major cities. Do you need to use it now?"

After hearing Adoma’s explanation, Kane thought for a mont.

"What kind of rewards can this so-called dium rit be exchanged for?"

Hearing Kane’s question, Adoma’s eyes filled with confusion. What do you an? You’ve already received the rit, and you don’t even know what it can earn you?

Who exactly issued this card to you? Truly incompetent.

In the distant forest, the leading scout Wilhelm couldn’t help but sneeze, "Strange, why did I suddenly sneeze? Did soone cast a curse on ?"

Returning her gaze, Adoma, understanding Kane’s lack of knowledge, began to patiently explain to him.

"The so-called dium rit rewards can be basically exchanged for a piece of top-tier silver equipnt or equivalent requests from the Mist Council."

"What does the scope of requests include?"

This question indeed made Adoma a little troubled. After careful thought, she replied, "Without violating laws and morals, it helps you accomplish sothing that doesn’t require the presence of a gold-level powerhouse. Can you understand it that way?"

Speaking of it in this manner, Kane sowhat understood. Gold-level powerhouses basically belong to the top tier of a small power.

Take, for example, this Lion City; in the entire city, only the City Lord is a gold-level powerhouse. Of course, there are countless cities like this in the whole world.

Thus, this rit might not be too precious for Kane, as in maybe a year or two, Kane might be promoted to gold, making the rit less useful.

But since there is no imdiate request, directly converting it into a piece of equipnt feels a bit unfortunate to Kane.

Forget it, I’ll use it later.

"There is no deadline for redeeming this rit, right?"

Hearing Kane’s question, Adoma couldn’t help but roll her eyes, "Of course not, this is a rit of contribution to the Mist Council or the world, not so mbership points, how could there be a ti limit?"

That sounded right, but asking was for safety.

"Then I’ll exchange it later," Kane said, putting away the silver card from the table.

Seeing Kane putting away the card, Adoma asked, "So is there anything else you need my help with?"

"I wonder if you have any information on the dungeon ’Demon Valley’?" This was the main reason Kane ca to the Explorer’s House, looking for Adoma.

Adoma furrowed her brow, recalling carefully, and after a long thought, confird she hadn’t heard any news about this dungeon.

"Recently, I haven’t heard any news about this dungeon. If you urgently need it, you can co up to the second floor with to search."

"I do need it quite urgently now, if you’re not busy, could you take upstairs to have a look?"

"Alright then, wait a mont," Adoma waved to another staff mber not far away, briefed her, and then walked out of the front desk, "Follow ."

The two ca to the second floor, after a few turns, they arrived at a room, the door clearly made of steel plate with tight security, and two guards were stationed at the entrance.

Adoma took out a card, swiped it, and the door opened automatically, then she led Kane inside.

The whole room wasn’t big, apart from a few chairs and two tables, the only noticeable feature was a large magic machinery device facing the door.

The device was a bulky irregular chanical block covered in magic power patterns, with a screen-like projection on top.

Beside the device was a slovenly human elder wearing glasses.
