Just as everyone was collecting the spoils in the pit.

The Ruby Lapel Pin on the collar transmitted izike’s voice.

"The monsters are surrounding us."

izike did not jump down into the pit, but sat atop a horse above it.

The Eye of Magic Power was on Cotton Candy, scouting their surroundings to prevent being surrounded by the demons rushing over.

And now, izike’s Eye of Magic Power had already spotted the figures of demons in the distance.

Whether it was the noise just now or the ssage from these demons, it was ti to leave.

Otherwise, once they got trapped in a surrounding circle, it would be dangerous.

Hearing izike’s ssage, everyone jumped out of the pit with force.

They rode their warhorses and seated Cotton Candy, following the faint guidance into the distance.

Speedy demons had already spotted Kane and his group, attempting to chase after them.

A few bullets shining with white light subsequently hindered their intentions.

They followed the faint guidance and finally saw the next location just as the sun was about to set.

This camp was nestled between a pair of hills.

And it firmly occupied the passage in the middle of the hollow, with higher, extrely uneven slopes on both sides covered by nurous trees.

To pass through this area quickly, this hollow was the best path.

izike also saw demons assembling two kiloters ahead of the camp.

More than ten demons were already assembled, and in the distance, more and more Skin-Stripping Monsters and various skinless Beasts were gathering.

It seed they were preparing to attack the camp once the crescent moon rose and the night descended.

After learning about the demons’ situation from izike, Kane didn’t lead his team directly into the camp but hid in a relatively secluded spot on the slope.

According to the map’s description of the camp’s troops, most of the soldiers in this camp were Shield Guards and various defensive machinery.

You could now see the camp had erected thick wooden walls painted with fireproof coatings.

The entire route leading to the camp was covered with traps and pits, with countless barricade spikes spread throughout the area.

The camp’s Commander was determined to wage defensive warfare, steadfastly refusing to step outside the camp.

So Kane planned to wait until both sides were engaged before making a surprise attack from the rear, catching the monsters off guard.

It didn’t take long before the sun set.

Night fell.

In the distant wasteland, the howls of Skin-Stripping Monsters and the roars of demons echoed everywhere.

They were exhilarated by the feeling of power they gained at night.

At the demon assembly point several kiloters from the camp.

For so reason, more demons had gathered than they had imagined, overwhelming the camp’s defensive capacity.

Not only Kane and his group saw this, but the camp’s scouts dispatched by the Commander also noticed this phenonon.

The camp was visibly in ergency mobilization.

Several ssengers already rode away on warhorses towards the fort.

Judging from the demon numbers, their actions might soon comnce, already uprooting the camps that stood in their way.

Once most of these camps were cleared, that might be the ti for the demons to launch a massive assault.

The horde of demons, along with countless Skin-Stripping Monsters, now advanced on the camp.

Faced with the multitude of traps and pits, the demons hadn’t considered anything, simply sending in the Skin-Stripping Monsters as cannon fodder.

The following monsters rely trampled over the carcasses of their sacrificed peers, indifferent to the cost, craving only faster, bloodier, and more ruthless slaughter.

anwhile, in the rearmost camp, on the wooden walls.

Archers were amassed, raining arrows down on the nearby Demon Legion. Bed Crossbows and catapults also launched continuously.

These defense devices steadily reduced the oncoming monsters’ numbers.

Though nurous monsters fell under this assault, for the oncoming swathes of Skin-Stripping Monsters, these losses were hardly worth ntioning.

The swiftest Skin-Stripping Monsters reached the wooden wall’s base, extending their sharp Hooked Claws to climb it.

anwhile, so jumping demons and a few flying demons breached the camp using their respective thods.

Only the cumberso, less agile demons pounded the wooden walls head-on.

Seeing this, Kane knew the ti was ripe.

Magic Power surged forth, gradually constructing a large chanical contraption before him.

The structure was connected from below by a stand to fourteen thick Launcher openings above.

These openings rotated, finally targeting where Kane wanted them to fire.

That was just near the front of the wooden wall.

As Magic Power poured out, the Launcher openings manufactured small projectile bombs akin to the rockets crafted earlier.

Compared to the afternoon’s rocket, these bombs were much smaller, each only the length of a forearm.

Of course, their power was considerably less as well.

The Magic Power consumption was also minimal, preventing the devastation of spoils as had occurred that afternoon.

Under Kane’s control, the Launcher comnced operation.

Countless projectiles, trailing fiery tails, surged toward the distant battlefield.

Hearing the whooshing sounds from behind, the Skin-Stripping Monsters and demons couldn’t resist turning to look.

Yet before seeing what it was, they were thrown into disarray by sudden blasts.

From the wooden walls stretching forward, every section was accurately bombarded with a specific amount of projectiles.

The explosive flas continuously advanced forward.

Fragnts of Skin-Stripping Monsters scattered everywhere.

Lacking command over the Skin-Stripping Monsters resulted in their swarming into the narrow passage ahead of the camp during attack.

The blasts upfront forced them to retreat, but the Skin-Stripping Monsters behind wanted to advance, creating a bottleneck.

Demons that might have commanded them either breached the camp or were dazed before the wooden walls.

The monsters thus crowded together, awaiting the rain of projectiles overhead to decimate them.

The vast number of these projectiles, despite lower power, left many Skin-Stripping Monsters struggling for survival with half bodies or heads intact.

Wave upon wave of bombardnt ultimately cleared the Skin-Stripping Monsters entirely.

At the narrow passage entrance, Kane and his team already charged ahead.

The lingering, half-dead Skin-Stripping Monsters were effortlessly dispatched by the barrage from the Floating Cannon accompanying Kane.

By the ti Kane and his group reached the wooden wall’s front, nearly all the Demon Legion’s cannon fodder was dead, with only about twenty demons still contemplating how to breach the camp.
