Banners of each legion fluttered in the wind atop the walls.
Di Berrio stood in the center of the wall, facing the soldiers around and below him, standing in orderly formations.

"What happened? Did sothing go wrong?"
"Yes," Kane nodded, then shared the information they had gathered with Finaris.
Listening to Kane, Finaris was incredulous: "Impossible, I clearly repaired the broken sealing point, how could there still be so many demons appearing?"
She thought for a mont, then slamd her scepter onto the ground in frustration.
Her eyes turned erald green as she surveyed the sky, then turned her gaze to the ground.
"It’s over, another seal has a breach, and it’s in a place I don’t know. Demons have constructed a ritual on it, continuously summoning more demons. If they aren’t stopped, we have almost no hope of victory."
They were now trapped in a vicious cycle; to win, they must quickly reach the breached seal location, destroy the ritual, fixing it didn’t matter—interrupting the ritual array was crucial.
But to interrupt the ritual, they must know where the breach is, and right now, nobody knows.
Thus, this victory inevitably moves towards defeat.
And beneath the fortress, in the vast trap zones ahead, the swiftest Skin-Stripping Monsters had charged forward, paving paths with their bodies for the comrades behind them.
"Release!"
On the commander’s orders, catapults and bed crossbows launched their ammunition into the demon legion’s formations.

With another command, archers volleyed their arrows into the distance.
The battle had officially begun.
Just then, Di Berrio approached Kane and his group’s position.
"What’s going on? You both look serious."
Faced with the veteran general, Kane had no choice but to share the information he had.
After hearing everything, Di Berrio’s face twisted, but he didn’t show despair; instead, he placed his hands on Kane’s shoulders.
"Can you do it? Can your team destroy the location where the demon ritual is taking place?"
"Yes."

Catching the earring, Kane placed it in his space equipnt without questioning why it was given to him.
"Of course, the vow has already been set. I will do my utmost to fulfill it."
With a flash, he disappeared from sight.
