After Kane and the others vanished with the light, they found themselves standing before a grand palace, the sudden space teleportation making them a bit uneasy.
Aiklonen appeared beside Kane and company, folding his hands behind his back and gazing at the distant palace alongside them.
"It’s beautiful, isn’t it."
The distant palace seed to evoke endless mories for Aiklonen, prompting him to sigh with emotion.
"Yes, very beautiful." Kreya, known for her insights into such matters, couldn’t help but respond to Aiklonen’s words.
The palace before Kane and the others was constructed from an unknown pure white stone.
The palace, majestic and magnificent, under the moonlight, even had an air of elegance.
The palace roof supported by countless white stone columns featured intricate carvings and patterns unlike anything Kane had ever seen.
The entire palace was surrounded by a tranquil lake, with a stone path encircling it along the palace, winding around the lake.
The clear lake reflected everything from the sky, including the serene full moon.
Aiklonen turned his head, nodding appreciatively at Kreya, pleased that soone recognized his beloved creation, even if it’s only a replica now.
"It was once a palace I invested great effort into creating, but now, it’s rely a copy."
He withdrew his thoughts from mories, clapped his hands to draw Kane and the others’ attention, and pointed to the palace ahead.
"Alright, go inside and rest. You’ll find it satisfactory, and I’ll co for you tomorrow."
Then he called in the palace’s direction: "Faf, treat them well."
Having said that, he vanished without a trace.
An elder, ticulously dressed, erged from the palace at a leisurely pace, nodding slightly as he spoke to Kane and the others.
"Honored guests, please follow ."
He then led the way for Kane and company.
Exchanging glances, Kane and the others eventually followed behind Faf, stepping onto the stone path over the lake, heading towards the palace.
As they approached, they discovered that the patterns around the palace seed to depict various deeds of a warrior.
These included the commanding presence of one person taking on an army and the camaraderie of hunting a colossal beast with companions.
Considering who the original architect of this palace might have been, it’s clear whose deeds these are.
To engrave one’s deeds at their doorstep, if one doesn’t believe Aiklonen to be a bit narcissistic, Kane would not be convinced.
Entering through a massive palace gate, the interior scene was unexpectedly simple for Kane.
Unlike the extravagant exterior, it exuded a simple and elegant aura.
"Pici!" "Master!"
From a mahogany staircase leading to the second floor ahead, a white cloud drifted down towards Kane, with a chanical little sphere topped with a propeller below it.
It was the long-lost Cotton Candy and Yoyo.
Reaching out, Kane embraced the two cute creatures, handing Yoyo over to Kreya, while Cotton Candy was embraced by Lilulu, or rather, embraced Lilulu.
Observing this, Faf waited politely by the side.
Kane then said to Faf, "Mr. Faf, please continue to lead the way."
Faf nodded and began introducing the various areas of the palace to Kane and the others.
"This is the palace hall, usually used for holding balls."
Leading Kane and the others through a side door beside the hall, they entered a rectangular space with a long dining table in the center, seemingly able to accommodate dozens of people dining simultaneously.
"This is the dining room within the palace. Please take your seats, and exquisite food will be served shortly. I’ll take my leave now."
Faf bowed, then exited through another small door.
Seated at the dining table, Kane turned to Yoyo and asked, "Yoyo, how long have we been apart?"
In response to Kane’s question, Yoyo projected a ti hologram from its eyes before everyone, saying, "We’ve been apart for a total of 48 hours, 32 minutes, and 13 seconds."
So the 30 days they experienced in that space amounted to only two days in real-world ti.
Finally relaxed at the dining table, izike waved his old severed arm holding cutlery in the air, while a blue Magic Palm massaged his shoulders, seemingly sore from standing for two days in that realm.
"The feeling of strength returning is wonderful!" Longbei bent and straightened the cutlery in his hands repeatedly.
Lilulu appeared on Longbei’s shoulder with a flash, nodding approvingly.
"Yes, yes, Lilulu has never felt so helpless; it’s truly annoying." She grimly recalled their final desperate battle, her mood darkening.
A black armor enveloped Lilulu, becoming a cha.
Excited by the cha surrounding her, Lilulu laughed, maneuvering the cha to fly in the air, striking cool poses of slaying monsters.
Seeing Lilulu cheered up and having fun in the sky, Kane reminded her, "Be careful; there’s only a 10-ter range."
Everyone watched Lilulu with smiles, except for Kreya, who gazed adoringly at Kane.
"What’s wrong?" Kane asked, noticing Kreya watching him, her face slightly flushed.
Kreya turned away, rubbing her face, "It’s nothing."
Just then.
The aroma of food wafted from the small door.
Trays laden with various delicious dishes floated towards Kane and company, lined up in the air.
Upon seeing this, Lilulu abandoned the cha and flashed to the floating trays, inspecting them.
"This is so interesting; why didn’t Lilulu think of it before."
Various sumptuous dishes filled the area before Kane and company, their fragrant aroma perating their senses.
Starving, they eagerly began tasting the al.
Many dishes were unfamiliar, made through unknown cooking thods.
These were Aiklonen’s favorite foods, selected from his travels across worlds.
Tasting these delicacies opened a new door for Kreya.
