Editor: Atlas Studios

The deep and elegant starry sky, with a sparkling Star River flowing like a ribbon across the night sky, is surrounded by scattered starlight that does not join the Star River, standing alone in its beauty.

On one of the scattered starlights, upon closer inspection, there is a circular stone platform emitting a faint glow.

Lying on the stone platform is a person

As the dizziness subsided, Kane couldn’t help but retch.

Getting up and resting a bit, the discomfort in his head suddenly reappeared, and a piece of information abruptly erged in his mind.

Kane shook his head, carefully discerning the information in his mind.

From this sudden information, he learned that this was a newly appeared Dungeon, and Kane had beco the first Explorer of this Dungeon.

Upon first arriving, Kane learned from the original host’s mories that this world is alive, with its own will.

The world attracts fragnts or information from other worlds, incorporating them into itself. These fragnts can bring a building, a region, a piece of history, or even an entire continent.

These places are called Dungeons by the people of this world, and entrances to them appear randomly all over the world. The ones who explore these Dungeons are the Explorers.

Due to the remoteness of Kane’s region, even the nearest Dungeon requires a 5 to 6 day carriage ride, so Kane never truly understood Dungeons and Explorers, only having a vague idea from mories and the discussions of those around him.

Observing the stone platform beneath his feet, it floats in the starry sky, with no apparent way out around it.

The only thing on the stone platform is a large door made of thick white Mist in front of him.

That is the Dungeon’s entrance

Surrounding him, there is only the dazzling and elegant starry sky. Kane has only enough food and water for two days, never anticipating entering a Dungeon.

Looking at the Mist door in front of him, with no retreat, the only way to survive is to venture in.

Taking a deep breath, he covered his head with his arm and walked in.

As he moved forward, it felt like he had passed through a cool mbrane. Upon being able to see the light again, Kane couldn’t help but be captivated by the scene before him.

This was sothing he had never seen, nor imagined, in both his lives.

The source of light and heat in the sky was not the sun, but a transparent Golden Bridge that spanned the endless sky.

It stretched across the sky, quietly emitting its own light. It was unclear if it was blocking the sun or replacing it.

Even looking directly at the Golden Bridge in the endless sky, its light didn’t feel glaring. Instead, the entire scene could be glimpsed through the light.

Bathing in this golden radiance, perhaps it was an illusion, but it felt as though his whole body was rejuvenated, with his Spirit, Physical Strength, and Magic Power all restored.

It seed to be a light with an Enhancing effect

Under the Golden sky’s illumination was a sparse forest, a grove of trees that would require more than a dozen people to encircle, towering over a hundred ters high.

Simply standing at the edge of the forest, one could feel their own insignificance.

Kane activated Eagle Eye, discovering human-like Magic energy wandering everywhere in the forest.

With a flick of his wrist, Kane swung into the forest, following the Spider Silk.

The mont he entered the forest, a chilling, damp wind dispersed the glowing Enhancent he had just experienced.

Noticing the Enhancent’s disappearance, Kane shook his body, using the Spider Silk to silently approach the human-shaped Magic energy under the tree.

Maneuvering around the obstructing branches and foliage, he peered at the true form of the Magic energy.

The hunched figure seed to have sensed Kane’s gaze. It turned its head instantly; it was a form made of dead, decaying leaves. The eyeless holes fixedly stared at Kane.

Discovered, Kane swung towards the tree canopy behind him to evade. But that gaze felt so chilling, sticking to Kane relentlessly, making any attempts to dodge futile.

Kane squatted in a relatively safe place

Slowing his breath, he carefully observed, finding that the decaying plant creature simply stared without any reaction.

No intellect? Or is it just a kind of mobile surveillance device?

After thinking, Kane lowered the Spider Silk to land on the ground.

When he reached 2.3 ters from the ground, the plant creature’s pitch-black eye holes instantly flared with red light, charging like a hound. Kane was not startled, shooting three blobs of Spider Silk in reverse.

The plant creature’s head and legs were instantly wrapped in Spider Silk, knocking it forward onto the ground. Yet, this didn’t hinder its action.

It raised its head, the red light in its eyes intensifying, clawing at the ground, frantically crawling towards Kane.

"No consciousness, only behaviors like instincts?"

The plant creature’s pattern made Kane instinctively recall entertainnt from his past life, where such behaviors were much like the zombies in those works.

Drawing the Bowstring, he aid at the plant creature’s head

"Whoosh"

The plant creature’s head jerked back with a feathered arrow stuck in it, continuing to crawl toward Kane without any apparent effect.

No harm? Kane frowned, looking at the creature’s body, and shot another arrow, this ti flashing with firelight.

The fire arrow instantly ignited the Spider Silk on the creature’s head, with the flas quickly spreading over its entire body. It began to struggle, but its decayed, withered plant body was helpless against the flas.

As expected, the body composed of withered plants is weak to fire, Kane breathed a sigh of relief. It seems that these monsters’ weakness is relatively easy to target. If flas didn’t work, he’d have to use Spider Silk to trap it and make a run for it.

When the flas receded, all that was left was a pile of black ash and plant residue. In the residue, there was a touch of green light. Kane walked over and brushed away the covering soot to find a pair of wrist guards.

"They can even drop equipnt?"

A bewildered Kane reached out to pick up the wrist guards.

As soon as he picked up the wrist guards, the system’s voice popped up.

[Magic equipnt detected. Do you want to initiate equipnt detection?]

[Yes][No]

The sudden surprise made Kane’s lips curl into a smile.

"Yes"

[Waldri’s Entanglent]

[Leather Armor Wrist Guards]

[Color: Copper]

[Attributes]

[Agility slightly enhanced - both hands]

[Control slightly enhanced - both hands]

[Strength slightly enhanced - wrists]

[Explanation: When the humanoid plant race Waldri was first born, the Mother Tree hung down vines to entwine them and create them.]

So these plant humanoids are called Waldri?

Kane observed the pair of wrist guards. They were made from vines intertwined with bark, and a few small white flowers adorned the surface.

Wearing these wrist guards, he felt the enhancent brought by the equipnt. The attributes stated it was a slight enhancent, but the actual effect was remarkably noticeable.

He mounted two arrows on the bowstring and shot them rapidly. The two arrows flew in a straight line and hit a distant stake.

Previously, when Kane used Continuous Arrow, the second arrow always missed the target. This effect was simply an archer’s specialty equipnt.

The improvent in strength, flexibility, and accuracy could all be distinctly felt. Now Kane felt that even a triple Continuous Arrow wasn’t out of reach if he really tried.

Can monsters in the dungeon drop equipnt upon being hunted? Or is this just an exception, and I am rely lucky?

Thinking of this, Kane quickly swung up into the canopy to start searching for the next target.

However, speaking of finding the next target

The forest was simply too full of plant humanoids. Looking around, they were everywhere, and Kane didn’t dare get too close.

Because most of the plant humanoids were not far apart, approaching recklessly would definitely attract the attention of multiple plant humanoids, and it would be too dangerous if any had ranged attacks.

These plant humanoids were clearly like zombies, but their senses were keen, and their movents were swift.

After searching for a while, he finally found one isolated, with no others nearby. Kane stealthily swung over from the periphery.

Sure enough, as soon as he got close, this plant humanoid turned its head to look. Kane raised his hand to ignite an arrow and shot it over, followed by a web of Spider Silk.

With the Spider Silk aiding combustion, the plant humanoid below was imdiately set afla.

When the fire went out, Kane eagerly descended.

He searched through the burnt ash and, as expected, found another item. It was a diamond-shaped green gemstone, which he picked up and held in his hand.

Identification

[Waldri Life Core]

[Magic Materials]

[Color: Copper]

[Attributes: Slight increase in Magic Stone Energy]

[Explanation: The Magic Core generated after Waldri’s desperate death]

Indeed, the dungeon is like a ga dungeon, where the monsters drop "equipnt" upon death.

And such gemstones can even recharge Magic Stones.

I declare that the dungeon will be my ho from now on.

Taking a deep breath, I must not rush and still need more actions to confirm whether equipnt really drops.

Looking at the sea of plant humanoids in the distance, this was simply a treasure trove.

Kane stood on the tree canopy, licked his lips, his eyes gleaming crimson, and the hunt was about to begin.
