A brilliant and eternal Star River spans the infinite Cosmos.

The Star River is composed of countless luminous celestial bodies gathered within it, and next to it is a floating platform as fine as a grain of sand.

The floating platform quietly hovers in the Cosmos, reflecting the light of the Star River.

At this mont, Kane and the others are on this platform.

They have co here to enter the Dungeon.

Kane looked at the Star River occupying their entire view and said, "I haven’t seen this Star River in a long ti, I really miss it."

Longbei and the others also looked at the Star River in the sky with a face full of mories. After all, the Star River in each part of the world is different, and seeing a wide Star River stretching across the Cosmos indicates that the Dungeon is around their hotown.

"Alright, let’s go in." After admiring it for a while, Kane said to everyone, then was the first to enter the door ahead.

As they passed through the Fog Gate, they didn’t directly land on the ground and enter the Dungeon; instead, they floated in a space where a graphical panel appeared before them.

Kane looked at the floating panel in front of him, which was the map of the Dungeon they were currently in.

The whole map was narrow at the top and bottom and spacious in the middle, shaped like a curved strip.

At this mont, the map was divided into two areas: a red zone occupying almost 5%, and a blue zone occupying all the remaining area.

At this ti, a prompt also appeared in Kane and the others’ minds.

Instructing them to choose the faction they wished to join.

On the map in front of them, only the 5% red zone was highlighted, aning only this faction could be chosen.

So, what is the significance of this stage?

If there had been many factions to choose from before, this step would be necessary, but now with only one faction to choose from, this step is still retained.

Kane shook his head, extended his hand, and clicked on the only selectable block.

With Kane’s click, it seed as if the red zone possessed a kind of suction, a small black dot appeared, absorbing Kane and the others entirely.

The world spun.

When the pitch-dark space lit up again.

Kane and the others were already standing on the ground, having entered the Dungeon.

However, what unfolded before Kane and the others was an orange-yellow sky, thick with dark clouds, an apocalyptic scene of a sky on the verge of collapse.

And surrounding them were red and white tents, alongside many soldiers whose clothes also featured the red and white color sche, making them easily recognizable.

Only then did Kane realize that a piece of their equipnt had also turned red and white.

Whether it was an armguard or Leg Armor.

And almost every soldier coming and going was injured, either leaning on a crutch, bandaged on the head, or dragging a broken arm.

A character like a general, wearing Heavy Armor of red and white color, limped towards Kane and the others.

"Are you the reinforcents? Being sent here at this ti is really unfortunate," the bandaged general said dejectedly.

"Co with ." With that, the general dragged his limping leg and walked slowly towards a large camp not far away.

Kane and his team exchanged glances and followed the general.

Next to the camp was a flagpole with a red and white flag atop it, representing the faction they belonged to.

Upon entering the camp, the general pointed to so chairs beside him and said to Kane and the others, "Have a seat."

Then he went over and sat down in the main seat inside.

Although his voice was dejected, he still forced out authority, "We’ve almost lost; the blue faction has already occupied all the territory. The only bit of land we have left, as you can see, is just this small camp."

He then lifted the table in front of him to reveal the sand table beneath.

The sand table map ford there represented the Dungeon they were in, with only a red soldier figurine in the bottom corner, while all other areas were filled with blue soldier figurines.

Pointing at the sand table, the general said to Kane and the others, "This is the current situation, as you can see, the blue faction is only 1 kiloter away from the camp. If they attack, the war will be over."

With that, he folded his arms and pressed his fists against his forehead, his voice unable to hide his defeat.

"Are there no soldiers left to fight?" Kane asked.

The Dungeon’s the was to eliminate enemies, capture territory, and lead troops into battle.

However, judging from the situation in the camp earlier, it seed there were indeed not enough soldiers to fight, but to be sure, Kane still asked.

Upon hearing Kane’s question, the general looked up at Kane and examined him carefully, "You’re really fearless, but although I’m pleased you still have the courage to fight, now we only have 100 soldiers left who can still fight."

Upon hearing the general’s words, Kane nodded, "Then how many enemies are blocking the camp gate?"

"About 5000 soldiers, though these are just the ones blocking the gate. Many more are stationed kiloters behind them."

"So what do you plan to do, General? Wait to die and accept defeat?"

Upon hearing Kane’s words, the general suddenly stood up with a loud bang and slapped the table in front of him forcefully, saying,

"How can we just wait to die? Of course, we must engage them in a fight to the death. Even if I perish, I’ll take a piece of flesh from them."

It’s good not to sit and wait for death.

Kane nodded and then stood up, saying, "Then our squad will go and scout the enemy’s situation first. Once we return, we can launch the final counterattack together. How about that?"

Though newcors, and despite having detailed information providing them with comprehensive guidance and introductions, it is only by observing with their own eyes that they can gain a clearer understanding.

The general realized that Kane and his team genuinely held hope. Faced with such an act of bravery, he had no reason to extinguish this fla and nodded.

He then extended his right fist and pounded it on his chest, standing at attention, saying, "I am Captain Horn; I wish you military prosperity, Kane Squad."

Kane and his squad mimicked the gesture and saluted.

As for how this captain knew their nas, it probably was due to the dungeon setting. After all, they were officers sent for reinforcent, surely there must be a roster.

After speaking, the captain watched as Kane and his team departed.

After leaving, Kane and his team headed out of the camp, discovering more soldiers along the way.

Besides the severely wounded soldiers, there were also quite a few soldiers with minor injuries. Although they had bandages wrapped around them, it didn’t affect their mobility.

The appearance of Kane and his team also attracted the attention of these disheartened soldiers. Their gear seed very exquisite and well-maintained, with so equipnt having red and white colors.

It was clear they were the newly reinforced officers.

Having roughly identified Kane and his team, nearly all soldiers cast sympathetic glances at them.

"Sent as reinforcents at this ti? This group must have offended soone," said a soldier with a bandaged left eye, dragging his right hand, with his left hand propped on a crutch.

"Who says otherwise? Being sent for reinforcents now is just a death sentence. Did they willingly co here? Hahaha..." said the soldier next to him, who only had his wrist broken, laughing after he finished speaking.

After a few laughs, he placed his hand on his chest and sighed beside the tent, saying, "Who would willingly go to their death?"

Kane and his team ignored the looks from these people and continued to head out of the camp, all the while Kane kept observing the surroundings and calculating roughly how many soldiers were able to fight.

The entire camp was at the map’s last point, with two huge rocky slopes in front, so they only needed to place wooden walls at the gate.

And set up a few watchtowers around.

The soldiers guarding here were almost the least injured in the entire camp, only having bandages wrapped around various body parts.

Kane estimated the number to be around 100.

The soldiers guarding here were slightly better in spirit and morale. Upon seeing Kane and his team approach, they imdiately stood at attention, right hand pounding their chest.

Kane and his team nodded and walked out through the opened gap.

Just as they exited, the Cotton Candy on Kane detached from him and erged.

After it ca out, izike conjured an Eye of Magic Power and placed it on Cotton Candy.

"The usual routine, go up," Kane said.

Hearing Kane’s words, Cotton Candy floated directly into the sky, maintaining a height of 300 ters above Kane and his team.

At this distance, with the Eagle Eye attached to izike’s Eye of Magic Power, he could clearly see the enemy’s deploynt 1 kiloter away.

Since the enemy was only 1 kiloter away, Kane could also see the enemy’s position but could not see the blocked enemies behind.

Magic Power surged from izike’s hands, and it outlined the enemy encampnt situation in his hands. He then opened his eyes and began to narrate what he saw.

"The enemies number precisely 6000, with 1000 being auxiliary soldiers. There are five catapults, and these 1000 are ordinary strong n without any magic power response.

The remaining 5000 are regular soldiers, with 4500 at the Copper level and the remaining 500 regular soldiers all at the Silver level."

After hearing izike’s report, Kane and his team furrowed their brows in thought.

In their camp, though all soldiers were wounded, Kane observed that nearly all soldiers had a Silver level magic power response within them.

But that makes sense, as those who survived were undoubtedly the strongest in the army.

This also indirectly confird the difficulty of this dungeon.

The ones who could enter this dungeon were at least Silver Explorers, so the 4500 Copper Soldiers wouldn’t pose much of a threat to the Silver Explorers; they could easily kite them to death.

The main problem was the 500 Silver Soldiers; this number, to be honest, was quite absurd.

Even though they were re soldiers, akin to small mobs, Silver only represented their strength, but they could still pose a significant threat to the Explorers.

Especially since these soldiers were arranged in a military formation, capable of exerting effects beyond their strength.

Kane also took a look at the formation details izike had drawn using magic power in his hands.

At the front were lee soldiers; cavalry were positioned on the rear flanks, and the archers and catapults were arrayed in the middle rear.

The drawing was quite detailed.
