Sharp transparent spikes were arranged on the ground.

One human corpse after another hung on them, blood dripping from the pierced holes, fully revealing these transparent spikes.

These bodies did not turn into ashes like they did when Kane explored the dungeons before, but maintained their deathly posture.

Unexpected yet within reason.

Looking at the bodies that hadn’t turned to ashes, Kane reached into his pocket and took out the transparent Magic Stone that had been hanging around his neck.

At this ti, the originally blank transparent Magic Stone had already taken on a silver hue.

Seeing this, Kane felt relieved, having thought he would need to place the Magic Stone on the physical body to absorb energy.

Or even that there wouldn’t be any energy for him to absorb.

If that were really the case, it would be distressing for Kane.

Yet, since these bodies hadn’t turned to ashes, no equipnt was dropped, which drastically lowered the gains from this dungeon.

This indirectly confird that the Mist hadn’t begun to invade this dungeon, forcing the world’s will to change its inherent rules.

No, this place couldn’t yet be called a dungeon; it should only be terd a World Fragnt.

However, Kane and his team were working for the Mist, and once successful, the Mist surely wouldn’t skimp on rewards, so the lack of dropped equipnt didn’t really matter, as long as he could still absorb energy for the Magic Stone.

Kane now had an even greater demand for Silver Magic Stones.

And the Mist wouldn’t randomly organize materials for him.

Kane waved his hand, and those protruding transparent spikes on the ground all vanished. The bodies that had been hanging mid-air fell to the ground, blood splattering all around.

Looking at the bodies strewn on the ground before him, it indeed felt quite unethical to simply leave them in the wild.

Although these bodies didn’t provide him with equipnt, they did offer energy for the Magic Stone, so he kindly decided to handle their final arrangents.

Steel plates appeared beneath the bodies, lifting them and floating to the center of the ruins one by one.

So partially collapsed buildings still stood in the center of the ruins, where the bodies were sent one by one.

Kane had been inside before and aside from so civilians brutally murdered by these heretics, there was nothing else.

From this perspective, these heretics didn’t die unjustly; in fact, their deaths were too swift, they deserved further punishnt.

Once all the bodies were moved inside, Kane waved his hand, causing the partially collapsed structures to completely collapse, burying the bodies in the middle.

Satisfied with this, Kane nodded, dusted off his hands, and mounted his motorbike.

This was Kane’s first action since arriving at this dungeon, although the enemies were just insignificant creatures.

Having traveled far within this dungeon and only encountered an enemy once demonstrated the desolation of the entire dungeon.

Not to ntion, this ti, the enemy was one Kane purposely approached.

On this vast continent, it’s unknown how many intelligent beings still exist.

It seed the kings truly did no good, no wonder there were insurgents wanting to overthrow them.

As he got closer to the city.

The surrounding ground and vegetation beca increasingly neat and orderly.

Finally, Kane passed by a village where civilians lived.

Although he only passed by, Kane kept a two-kiloter distance from the village, observing it from afar without approaching rashly.

The entire village was constructed with a mix of wood and stone, yet without exception, all the buildings were square and orderly arranged.

Even the village’s land was square, and a small stream ran straight through beside it, without any deviation.

Kane observed the villagers, and judging by appearances, their lives seed relatively comfortable, their complexions quite healthy.

After watching for a while, Kane withdrew his gaze and continued onward.

Suddenly, Kane saw a tallic reflection in the distant sky, the glint conspicuous.

It was the Steel Wings unit that had previously targeted the Village of the Dead with light spheres.

However, this ti there was only one in the sky, seemingly undertaking a patrol mission.

In this situation, Kane imdiately dismounted from the bike, dispersed it, and hid himself in the shadows of the surrounding woods.

With his Eagle Eye, Kane kept watching the energy reaction in the sky. Until it flew over his head and disappeared from view.

Seeing the Steel Giant Eagle fade from sight, Kane knew he had entered Zorolostan’s territory.

According to intelligence, once you see the Steel Wings patrol unit from the sky, it indicates Kane has entered the city’s domain, requiring him to act discreetly and conceal his presence.

With this thought, Kane waved his hand at the sky.

A small opening ford in a cloud, and a tuft of cloud descended.

It was Cotton Candy, and fearing exposure, Kane decided to have it attach to him.

No choice. Who would have thought the clouds in the sky were all moving in an orderly fashion at a constant speed? Although he could hide among them, Kane had to ensure absolute safety, so there was no need to take such unnecessary risks.

Thus, Kane started walking directly on the ground with his feet, expanding his perception range to the maximum, staying alert to the surrounding movents.

He tried to avoid the vast open plains, heading instead toward places with trees and vegetation.

Finally, Kane arrived at the outskirts of the city of Zorolostan, spotting the towering giant city standing upon the land from afar.

To be honest, the desolate scene surrounding the city didn’t look like it belonged to such a massive city.

There were very few people going in and out of the city, only a sparse handful could be seen. Most were soldiers, with no rchant traders in sight, as if the city was completely sealed off.

The outer wall of the city was a towering high wall, light grey in color, made of grey giant stones with smooth surfaces.

The wall was extraordinarily high, making it impossible to see the scene inside the city through it. The only visible structure was a tall tower rising from within the city, the sole building visible through the wall.

Kane crouched in the shadow at the edge of the woods, spreading out a simple structural map of the city in front of him.

The outer wall of the city was about 18 ters high, and none of the buildings inside the city exceeded this height, naturally preventing any view of the city’s interior from outside the wall.

The only visible tower was actually the garrison location of the Steel Wings Corps, and it served as the takeoff and landing platform for the Steel Giant Eagle.

At this ti, several routes were clearly marked with red lines on the structural map in Kane’s hand, these routes indicating ways to infiltrate the city.

Quite considerate.

Upon looking, Kane saw that one of the routes revealed a tunnel under a section of the city’s wall, with the tunnel’s entrance hidden within a house used by Heideline’s subordinates.

Another route was the river beside Kane, which ran straight through the center of the city of Zorolostan, allowing Kane to enter the city via the river.

However, a checkpoint was set up there as well, with a large underwater grid at the entrance, requiring a deep dive to enter the city safely.

Once inside, the timing and thod of exit were also issues, as the river passed through the busiest part of the city, compounded by the fact that this world had no night, remaining in perpetual daylight. Thus, leaving at any ti could an encountering passing residents or even soldiers.

Such a world is indeed unfriendly to any activities best carried out at night, whether infiltration or assassination or otherwise.

The last option was the classic thod of using the sewer system.

On the surface, the city seed neat and orderly, but its sewer system was complex and intricate, even confusing the city’s patrol teams.

Therefore, this was the safest and easiest way to infiltrate the city.

One entrance could be accessed through the nearby stream, easily entering from the river on the outskirts.

With a decision made, Kane quickly headed towards the nearby river.

As the Magic Power surged forth, a waterproof suit began to cover Kane’s body, with two water jets appearing on his legs, and diving goggles on his eyes.

In a flash, Kane entered a diving state, enveloped completely by the diving suit, which would assist him in his underwater activities.

In this Dungeon, there was no ntion of nightti, so Kane wasted no ti and jumped directly into the river.

Alongside, You-You also entered the water, with a small propeller appearing at the tail, propelling You-You freely through the water.

It should be noted that You-You was an all-terrain auxiliary robot, effortlessly navigating sky, land, and sea, the most basic of its functions were no challenge for it.

After swimming for a while, Kane followed You-You’s guidance to a circular sewer entrance.

He entered through the sewer entrance.

Inside the sewer, Kane climbed out of the sewage.

Kane was entirely encased in creations made by Origin Skills, so his body wasn’t contaminated by the sewage. As the diving suit disappeared, so did the sewage.

Even You-You’s surface was wrapped before entering the sewer, so naturally, it was not polluted either.

It must be said that the sewer’s sll was really unpleasant, a bit hard for sewer first-tir Kane to adapt to.

"You-You, where are we now?" Kane asked You-You at his feet.

The spot where Kane climbed up had three passageways, indicating how complex the sewer was.

But with You-You’s presence, Kane could navigate the sewer freely, with no fear of getting lost.

Hearing Kane’s question, You-You imdiately projected a three-dinsional map of the city woven from blue lines, then the map zood down to show the sewer layout Kane needed, marking their current location with a red dot.

One could even clearly see which district of the city was above them.

Looking at the map, Kane nodded and began twisting and turning through the sewer following the map.

His target was the central tower of the city, the station of the Steel Wings Corps.

He needed to first go there to find out the location of their corps commander, to strategize for the next actions.

Although the tower wasn’t far from Kane in terms of distance, it was only after spending most of the day underground in the sewer that he finally arrived beneath the tower.

Kane didn’t rashly climb out through the roadside sewer entry, as the Dungeon had no concept of night, and it was still as bright as day outside. What lay outside could be passing civilians.

After all, Kane’s Eagle Eye provided Energy Vision, which couldn’t truly see through objects, and there was no energy response from ordinary civilians.

Even if Kane couldn’t go out through the roadside sewer entrance, he could still use other ans to gather the information he needed.

Thinking of this, Magic Power surged from his hands, and a complex chanical structure began to form in Kade’s hand.
