The portal just opened, but before Kane could enter, a spherical object ca out from inside instead.
This was a pale blue energy sphere with a cat-like facial expression, without any limbs, and a pair of cat ears appeared on its round head.
It opened its cat-like vertical pupils, floating in the air, looking at Kane with a puzzled expression.
"Who are you?"
The pale blue cat face was the first to speak.
Kane opened his mouth, just about to speak, when he saw a hand stretch out from the portal, grabbing the cat face and dragging it inside.
Then the owner of the hand stepped out from the portal.
It was an elder with peculiar clothing; although he appeared sowhat old, both his aura and hairstyle seed youthful and vibrant.
His one hand was still clutching the cat face, which was still shouting loudly.
"Let go of , you damned old man. I told you to let go of ."
The elder's other hand produced a piece of transparent tape and slapped it directly onto the cat face's mouth, sealing it shut.
He then turned to Kane with a friendly expression and said, "I apologize for the spectacle. You must be the newcor Lord Bagri ntioned. If you don't mind, please co with ."
With those words, he entered the portal, and Kane followed closely behind.
Once Kane entered the portal, it disappeared.
After passing through the portal, Kane saw what lay beyond.
It was a huge, empty hall, with exceptionally simple décor, yet exuding a vibrant and grand feel.
The hall was supported by stone columns, with a transparent do top, but outside light was not visible.
Spheres floated above, emitting light, and around the hall hung white tapestries devoid of rune patterns.
The center of the hall featured a giant round table, surrounded by chairs of various shapes and sizes.
The chairs varied in size and seed to be prepared for different races.
The elder still held the cat face and said to Kane, "Please follow ."
He spoke as he led Kane toward the round table.
At this mont, there were already quite a few people at the chairs around the round table.

Soon, the elder released his hand, and the cat face anxiously flew beside one of the seats, occupied by a woman dressed scantily, revealing healthy wheat-colored skin.
She looked at the cat face and smiled before ripping off the tape sealing his mouth.
As soon as the tape was removed, the cat face opened its mouth to say sothing.
Its owner imdiately sealed its mouth and gestured a silent sign.
Kane sat upright at his position, occasionally observing the surrounding mbers.
Honestly, Kane felt sowhat uncomfortable sitting here.
He sensed that every person around him was far stronger than himself.
Although he didn't use Eagle Eye to probe their strength, he could feel each of them had reached a colorful level.
These people were too close, and Divine Martial Gaze could clearly perceive the danger emanating from them.
The least dangerous of them had reached Gordon's level, indicating that each of them was of colorful strength, unlike Kane, who remained golden.

Just then, a portal opened not far away.
Upon seeing the figure erging from the portal, Kane imdiately averted his gaze.
Soon, there was a crisp sound of high heels on the floor, and the newcor sat right beside Kane.
This explained the previously vacant seat without flashing lights beside Kane was for this person.

It was a woman's voice, filled with maturity and temptation.
This was also why Kane looked away the mont he saw her for the first ti.
