With a burst of light, Kane and Kreya appeared inside a camp.
The entire camp was surrounded by a vast expanse of lush green forest, with only a stone path leading out of the forest.
The camp was built around a small hillock nearby.
Kreya looked around and discovered that there were many explorers coming and going in the camp.
Turning her head, she happened to see the Dungeon Teleportation Station inside the cave.
"Dungeon entrance? Why is the teleportation station located next to the dungeon entrance?"
It's rare for a transmission entrance to be established so close to a dungeon station site.
Without an interdiary process, how would the surrounding cities, villages, and towns develop?
Usually, a teleportation station being right next to a dungeon is rare unless the dungeon appears in an extrely desolate area.
Not only that, but the camp was very large, with lots of staff, yet the sign on the board nearby shows it's a bronze-level dungeon.
This is very strange.
Kane took Kreya's hand and walked outside, explaining to her.
"This is the first dungeon I explored; it's the first dungeon in the border area. It's said to have significant aning and function, which is why things are the way they are now."
"Oh, I see," Kreya nodded understandingly.
Then the two of them stepped onto the stone path and walked away.
Even though this path leads to the dungeon entrance, there aren't many explorers coming and going.
Most people now are preparing outside the World Ring.
Those still exploring the dungeon or preparing to explore it are mostly not planning to adventure in the World Ring.
They're either sufficiently sensible and smart or just timid.
With their speed, it didn't take long before they saw a small city not far away.
Kane stood at the gate, looking at the small city.
"I've been away for almost two years, yet it has turned into a small city. That's fast."
"It's normal. Look at all those caravans coming and going; this must be one of the supply points for the advancent camp," Kreya pointed to the caravans coming and going from the city gate.
After all, this place is so close to the Wall of Mist, suggesting the Transmission Array and airship landing base are not far from this small city.
"Kane, is that you?"
At this mont, a soldier standing on the city wall looked down at Kane and asked incredulously.
Kane looked up and glanced over, "Fus, is that you? Long ti no see."
Once he confird it was Kane, the soldier hurriedly ran down and then inspected Kane from head to toe.
"You're back! I heard from Captain Gemu that you've achieved a lot outside! He's been boasting about you in the tavern every day."
Hearing the words of his childhood friend, Kane smiled and then asked, "Enough of that, where's Uncle Ge Mu?"
"The captain should be at the City Lord's Mansion; it seems he's in a eting," Fus thought for a mont and said.
Kane patted his shoulder and said goodbye. Fus's strength had improved a lot, suggesting his life had indeed gotten better.
After all, Fus used to belong to the rather difficult, impoverished class in the village.
Being a militia mber was mainly for the provision of that al; now, his strength improved, and he donned armor, he won't worry about als anymore.
Unexpectedly, Uncle Ge Mu transitioned from militia captain to guard captain?
The two headed into the city.
Along the way, they didn't draw much attention, except many acquaintances who knew Kane greeted him warmly.
A few years ago, Kreya's race appearance might have drawn attention, but due to the appearance of dungeons and the World Ring over the past few years, explorers of various races have co to this city more frequently, so it's not unusual anymore.
She's just a centaur girl, and we've seen more extre things; after all, we've gained quite a bit of worldly experience.
Kane wandered around the street, only finding the original path after a while.
No wonder, the transition from town to small city brought too many changes.
Kane nearly struggled to find so of the old landmarks, relying entirely on estimating the distance back and forth.
After all, the gate of the small city hadn't shifted position.
Finally, Kane found Uncle Ge Mu's forr house.
Now Uncle Ge Mu's house had developed from a two-story small building to a larger three-story house.
It indeed seems like quite an improvent.
Kane walked over and knocked on the door, sensing the movent from Kreya's hand that held his other hand.
At this mont, Kreya seed a little nervous.
"Who is it?" A loud female voice ca from inside.
The door swung open to reveal Auntie Amisha, Uncle Ge Mu's wife.
"Auntie Amisha," Kane called out with a smile.
"Oh my goodness."
Amisha excitedly rushed out and then placed her hands on Kane's face to examine him closely.
Then she inspected Kane to see if he was missing any limbs.
Only after looking him over did she relax and pat Kane's arm.
"You haven't lost weight; in fact, you've bulked up quite a bit. Co inside," Amisha said with a smile.
Then Kane introduced Kreya, taking her hand and leading her over, "Auntie, this is Kreya I ntioned."
Then he spoke to Kreya, "This is Auntie Amisha."
