"Will Gnate be alright?"

Daisy, carrying a bow and arrows, knelt beside a corpse and asked izike, who was checking it.

izike stood up after completing the examination and shook his head, then proceeded to stitch up the fatal wound on its chest.

With a touch of the hand, even the scars vanished.

"It's fine, the body is intact, Kane will resurrect him."

After hearing izike's words, Daisy quickly nodded and thanked him, "Thank you, thank you..."

The teammates beside her who heard izike's words also showed a slight relief in their previously solemn expressions.

Even though they all knew the guild had many resurrection thods, Kane could resurrect soone as long as the body remained intact after death.

However, the worry in their hearts was still hard to shake off, though compared to regular deaths, this was sowhat easier to accept.

izike then began examining the three other corpses beside him, which, judging by their attire, were mbers of the Lantern Knight Order, while Abby waited nearby.

Compared to Daisy and the others, Abby and the Knight Order mbers were much more composed.

After all, mbers of the Knight Order were always at the forefront, being a team more prone to casualties.

Seeing izike's arrival, Abby imdiately nodded and bowed, "Thank you, Lord izike."

izike waved his hand, indicating it wasn't a problem.

He then proceeded to check the completeness of these three corpses, healing and stitching up all fatal internal injuries and wounds.

The more complete the bodies were preserved, the less magic power Kane would use during resurrection.

Having learned quite a few insights on minimizing Kane's magic power consumption during resurrection, izike nodded once everything was done, then left to heal more people.

Besides the deceased, many allies were severely injured.

For cases like missing limbs, izike and other top healers were needed for recovery.

At this mont, Abby received a ssage drifting towards her.

She turned to her comrades and said, "Bring Kerchi and the others' bodies, His Majesty calls us."

Upon hearing Abby's words, the Knight Order mbers swiftly lifted the three corpses below and placed them on horseback.

anwhile, Daisy and the others had received the ssage and were carrying Gnack's body on prepared stretchers.

Following behind the Knight Order as they headed towards Kane's location.

Soon, they saw Kane on the hillside, speaking with a bishop.

As they arrived, the bishop stepped aside.

"You're here, place them in front of ."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"Thank you, President."

The two sides quickly laid the bodies neatly before Kane.

The bishop watched the scene.

What does this an? Why put these four bodies before him, and why are their titles different?

Your Majesty? So nation's king?

This presumably powerful Knight Order is this lord's troop.

What does President an? Are they not from the sa faction?

Or are they from different factions?

Regardless of whether factions differ, the bishop noticed the Lantern Knights' simple lantern emblem on their wrists and exposed parts.

Including their armor and the flags hanging behind them.

Those calling this lord President also bore the sa emblem.

Recalling those he'd seen aiding along the way, most seed to have this emblem.

Though the emblems' colors varied, the design was identical.

Therefore, despite different titles, they likely belonged to one faction.

From the titles, this esteed lord should hold a high position in the faction, perhaps at the top.

His mind was still analyzing all known information.

anwhile, he sensed a surge of energy converging on Kane.

He imdiately refocused.

Watching Kane channel energy into the four corpses.

Intruding energy into the bodies?

Why?

...Could it be.

The bishop had an answer, yet hesitated to believe what seed beyond reason.

Despite being that unreasonable, he saw the energy infusion form four soul light spheres returning to the bodies.

The corpses visibly regained their color, hearts began beating anew, blood flowed throughout.

It was real!

The bishop internally shouted, witnessing resurrection firsthand.

Not one, but four instantaneous resurrections.

He couldn't mask the astonishnt on his face.

Gnate opened his eyes, feeling soone leap onto him.

It was his comrade, Daisy.

Looking at Kane, recalling his prior death.

He must've been resurrected by the President.

Patting Daisy, who was sobbing atop him.

"Okay, stop crying, I'm fine, aren't I? Everyone's watching, the President's still here."

Heeding his words, Daisy rose, wiping her tears away.

Gnate then stood, highly bowing to Kane.

"Thank you, President!"

"Thank you, President!" ×4.

His teammates all bowed.

Kane laughed and waved, "You're all guild mbers; it's my duty.

"Alright, go about your own business. I have matters to discuss with the bishop here."

"Then we'll take our leave."

With that, Gnate led his teammates away into the distance.

"Captain, quickly tell us, what does it feel like to die?"

"And while you're at it, what's it like to be resurrected?"

"Yeah, tell us quickly, so I'll be prepared if I die in the future."

"What's there to say? Didn't you all ask those knights before? I feel it's pretty much the sa as they described."

The voices of the departing group drifted back, faintly audible.

The bishop, having overheard their conversation, felt a surge of waves inside him.

Isn't this resurrection the first ti? These people seem to recall it as a normal thing.

Does that an resurrection is just a casual ability for the gentleman before him?

The more he thought about it, the more shocked he beca.

anwhile, Kane, listening to the deliberately unsubdued conversations of Gnate and the others, couldn't help but chuckle.

They're really clever.

The resurrected knight order regrouped.

After Abby paid a salute to Kane, he said, "Your Majesty, we shall also take our leave."

"Hmm." Kane nodded.

Only after Abby and the others left did Kane turn and smile at the bishop beside him, whose expression was one of shock.

The bishop had already figured it out after his initial shock. He realized it seed to have been deliberately displayed before him.

But this didn't stop him from being shocked and terrified.

He couldn't help but confirm, "Sir, was that just now..."

"Just resurrection. I can't just let the citizens who follow into battle die so easily, can I?

They are all rare warriors, you know."

Saying this, Kane looked at the bishop with a smile and said, "I still have so magic power left. If you have warriors who need resurrection from the recent battle, you can bring them here, or else there won't be another chance."

The bishop, who was about to say sothing, had his train of thought interrupted.

"Re... really?"

The bishop's expression was completely unrestrained, and he asked hastily.

The trembling in his voice revealed his current mood.

"Of course, I've watched those warriors' battles, all very brave. However, it's a pity that my power is limited and cannot resurrect them all.

So I can only resurrect one or two, and consider that so effort on my part."

"That's already more than enough, sir. Thank you for saving them. You are like a ssenger of God, a saint!"

The bishop hurriedly knelt halfway, performing a ceremonious salute.

Kane quickly helped him up, "There's no need for this. It's what I should do."

"Why don't you first bring over the warriors who need resurrection? If it's too late, their souls will return to the mist."

Hearing Kane's words, the bishop nodded quickly, "Yes, yes, sir, I'll get to it imdiately."

With that, he hurriedly got up.

Then, as if another thought had occurred to Kane, he said, "Oh, right, rember, the body needs to be intact."

The bishop nodded repeatedly and then quickly left the place.

Only after he was out of Kane's range did he start running at full speed.

Watching the bishop run off, Kane stood in place, smiling.

"Why did Kane tell him about being able to revive others?"

Lilulu suddenly appeared on Kane's shoulder, swinging her legs as she asked.

The range of Lilulu's flashing had expanded with her teleportation magic progress. Now she had beco elusive.

Hearing Lilulu's words, Kane glanced at her and flicked her forehead.

Directly knocking Lilulu backward.

"Why do children ask so many questions?"

Stabilizing herself, Lilulu imdiately stood on Kane's shoulder, pulling at his ear in anger.

She shouted at Kane's ear, "Naughty Kane, you must be plotting sothing bad. Lilulu can sense it."

"Stop pulling. What's this talk about bad things? I'm doing good deeds."

"Doing good deeds should also seek benefits for oneself, right? Simply doing good without expecting repaynt won't do. You need to know I'm the King of Platinum.

This is the wisdom of a king, understand?"

Hearing Kane's words, Lilulu released her grip and then wrapped her arms around Kane's neck.

"Tell Lilulu quickly! Lilulu will also be the Fairy Tale Queen in the future and needs the wisdom and majesty of a queen, just like the Mist Mother."

Does the mist even have a majestic side?

Hearing Lilulu's words, the question that popped into Kane's mind was this.

No wonder, since the mist they encountered, or rather most explorers encountered, had the loving image and feel of a mother.

Seeing Lilulu still holding his neck and continuously acting cute, Kane quickly nodded, "Alright, alright, I'll tell you."

"Hehe! Kane is the best."

Tsk!

You just called naughty.

Subsequently, Kane began talking as he waited for the bishop's return.

...

anwhile, on the other side, the bishop ran desperately, sprinting wildly towards the fortress.

This action astonished all the soldiers and the priests and knights who were undergoing simple treatnts and bandaging along the road.

"Did you see that? Am I seeing things?" A priest rubbed his eyes, saring blood on his eye socket.

"I saw it. That seed like the bishop?" The soldier's voice also held uncertainty.

"That's indeed the bishop! Ouch, it hurts, hurry and stitch up the wound!"

"Oh, oh, sorry, sorry."

The priest ca back to his senses and imdiately started repairing wounds with the magic power flowing with the Holy Light.

What they saw was so shocking they forgot they were rescuing people.
