New Era, April 12th, Year 2.
Platinum Country.
Lantern Territory, Feiten.
Rescue Harbor.
It has been quite so ti since Kane and the others returned.
Toot! Toot!...
As the piercing whistle sounded.
The morning port once again buzzed with new vitality.
The daybreak opened, accompanied by the arrival of ocean-going ships.
The arrival of such ships made the entire port busy.
A silver figure shot straight into the sky.
The silver figure slashed through the sky, trailing a crimson tail fla that disappeared into the distance.
"Ah! Finally back."
Anrule coiled her snake tail into a spring-like form, bouncing up and down outside on the balcony.
Stretching lazily.
Their room's location offered a clear view of the entire port.
The whole port city now featured many new buildings.
So outdated old structures, once useless buildings of Feiten Kingdom, were completely demolished.
More magic machinery equipnt lined the port than before.
The ocean-going ship returning did not carry any refugees.
All refugees had already been transported back during this ti.
Now, the ocean-going ships had completely transford into cargo ships.
For trade with the Holy Light Alliance.
Of course.
So noble offspring from within the Holy Light Alliance also took these cruises to Lantern Territory for tourism and further studies.
Not long ago.
The undead influence was almost entirely eradicated.
Only a few scattered undead remain, either rampaging or yet undiscovered.
After all, the territory of the undead influence is no small area; it is astonishingly large.
At least much larger than Kane's holand.
Clearing every undead isn't sothing that can be completed in a short ti.
But most of the intelligent and powerful ones have been thoroughly eradicated.
Thus, guild mbers and Lantern Territory soldiers who provided support returned on this trip.
Of course, not a few soldiers stayed inside the Holy Light Alliance.
Their duty, naturally, is to protect the enclave there.
After all, that enclave is now also part of Lantern Territory.
With these massive territories seized.
The sphere of influence of the Holy Light Alliance has witnessed an incredibly spectacular expansion.
Yet, they must duly provide Kane and the others their share.
Currently, they wouldn't dare to disobey in the slightest.
Overall.
This event has finally co to a close.
And leveraging this event, the Platinum Country successfully established an overseas trade route.
The population of the Holy Light Alliance and various forces greatly needs the goods from Kane's side.
anwhile, within the Holy Light Alliance's territory, there are abundant resources Lantern Territory requires.
At this mont, Anrule's door was knocked open.
Upon opening the door, standing outside was her teammate.
"Why are you dawdling? Don't you want to go back?"
"Mind your own business!"
Listening to Raphael's complaint, Anrule gave him a hard punch.
Seeing Raphael's miserable state, Kafka teasingly said, "So people just can't keep their mouth shut."
"Are you alright?"
Star Symbol squatted down, rubbing the spot where Raphael took a punch.
"Whew! Whew!"
Observing Star Symbol's action, Raphael puzzledly asked, "What are you doing?"
"Blowing the pain away."
?
Raphael tilted his head, puzzled. Isn't this sothing kids do?
"Who taught you that, this is what adults use to fool children," said the least noticed mber of the group, Sriyan.
He was the unicorn-horned beastman teammate.
As soon as he finished speaking, Anrule glared at him fiercely.
"Wait... wait a minute, it's truly not sore now? Why? Star Symbol, did you learn so new healing magic?"
Raphael rubbed the freshly punched area, saying with so confusion.
"Lilu taught ."
Hearing Star Symbol's answer, everyone nodded sagely in realization.
Ah, it was taught by Lilu, no wonder.
Lately for so unknown reason, Lilu would always teach so strange magic to guild mbers in the Guild Hall.
The manner of casting the magic and the spell was exceedingly childish and embarrassing.
So people managed to learn it, while others couldn't.
This magic completely ignores whether one has spellcasting aptitude, absolutely baffling how one learns it.
After Raphael's team assembled, they disembarked the cruise.
Along the way, greeting many guild mbers.
Standing outside the port, Kafka asked, "How do you plan to head back? By teleportation array or train?"
"By train, I heard the teleportation array was designed by Lilu," Raphael thought for a mont and said.
Although Lilu is currently the strongest presence in the guild, ever since joining, Lilu has always been sowhat unreliable.
It's hard for so of the more serious male mbers of the guild, to believe Lilu won't drop the ball.
After all, in the guild, Lilu interacts mainly with female mbers besides her team; male mbers have virtually no engagent.
"But I also helped with the design, doesn't Raphael trust ?"
Star Symbol, beside him, asked blankly.
"Alright, it's decided! Let's use the Teleportation Array!"
"Tsk!" Hearing Raphael change his mind imdiately, Kafka couldn't help but smirk.
But since their teammates were involved in the design, everyone decided to take the Teleportation Array to leave as well.
They walked to the entrance of the newly established Teleportation Array.
They saw many guild mbers also choosing this thod, after all, they were all explorers and were used to using the Teleportation Array outside.
"Hahaha, Raphael, didn't you say you'd rather die than use the Teleportation Array designed by Lirulu? What are you doing here then?"
Xi saw Raphael and began to rcilessly mock him.
Xi had a good relationship with Lirulu and really disliked so of the guild mbers' unfounded criticisms of Lirulu.
Although Lirulu was indeed unreliable most of the ti.
But as a friend, now that he had this chance, of course, he had to tease hard.
His younger brother Rui could only shrug helplessly at Raphael.
In their group of four, three were female, and they all got along well with Lirulu.
If it weren't for Funa and Finaris being quite well-mannered, they might have joined Xi in the mockery.
On the other hand, Rui, Longbei, and Raphael were kindred spirits in this regard.
So being the only male in their group, Rui, although he had a good relationship with Raphael and the others, could only silently wish them well.
"That's because I trust the Star Symbol."
Raphael answered succinctly, not wanting to say more to avoid being targeted for any flaws in his words.
Currently, he was at a disadvantage in both numbers and conversation, so he couldn't act arrogantly.
Kafka was just a useless guy anyway.
As a devil, he had no debating power.
Even Angel Rui was better at speaking than him.
Not to ntion the two won in his own team, who might turn around and prompt back at him.
In these extrely unfavorable circumstances, staying quiet was the best option.
The group continued bickering.
Finally, they passed through the Teleportation Gate and returned to the City of Two Realms.
"So, how was it? This Teleportation Gate wasn't too bad, huh? Didn't leave you missing an arm or a leg, did it?"
Xi, who had teleported ahead, said to Raphael, who erged behind.
"Not bad at all. I have to say the Star Symbol did a good job."
Seeing Raphael dodge the confrontation, Xi also found it uninteresting, winked at the Star Symbol, then returned to his group.
For the guild mbers present, it had been nearly half a year since they left the City of Two Realms.
They were now looking up at the city's changes.
There had indeed been many changes since they left; much had transford.
"What's that thing?"
Kafka pointed to the center of the City of Two Realms at a gigantic tower and the massive beam of light shooting upwards from its top.
The light was a deep blue, piercing the sky and invisible at its end.
Hearing Kafka's question, the Star Symbol beside him answered, "I think it's a building jointly designed by the President and Professor Cobock. It's said to detect the entire territory's situation and can adjust so weather paraters and magic power changes."
The Star Symbol had already apprenticed under Professor Cobock and beca his student.
Cobock had opened many courses in the Guild Hall, spending one day a week lecturing.
He had beco the most popular figure in the guild, second only to Steel Armor.
No surprise, he knew so many skills, almost everyone in the guild could learn sothing from him.
Hearing the Star Symbol's answer,
their teammates shook their heads, indicating they didn't understand.
They couldn't quite grasp what changes this building would bring, but its imposing appearance was undeniable.
"Whatever, let's not talk about things we can't understand, let's go in, and discuss it at ho later."
With that, Raphael led his teammates into the city.
A few spheres flew over them.
Seemingly unfamiliar with Raphael and his group, they scanned them twice.
This quickly triggered Raphael's group's senses.
"What are those things? They look like the President's robots."
"Patrol robots, probably haven't seen us before, so they're paying attention."
These were things that had appeared while they were away.
The group continued onward, and soon they reached the main street.
They happened to stop by a signpost.
Many ordinary people were waiting around.
A gigantic magic power machinery vehicle, resembling a snake, descended from the sky, landing on the road.
Two side doors opened, and people from around started boarding one after another, while people on board were getting off through the back door.
"Arriving at the Teleportation Station, [those] needing to disembark, please exit from the rear door, disembark with caution. Next stop, Science Academy Station."
Looking at the snake-like yet vehicular object in front of them,
they all turned their heads to the Star Symbol.
"I don't know about this either. It shouldn't be a project by the teacher or President."
The Star Symbol replied helplessly.
After all, she hadn't returned and worked on so projects within the Guild Hall, occasionally collaborating with Cobock and Kane.
"It's a project researched by the people at the Science Academy. The prototype was the defensive machinery from Cobock's forr race. Because City of Two Realms' residents needed transportation, it was developed."
A male voice sounded from behind them.
The group turned around.
"President!"
"Kreya."
The ones arriving were Kane and Kreya.
The two had been out shopping when they happened to et the guild mbers who had returned today, so they ca over for a chat.
"You got back this morning?"
"Yes, we arrived at the harbor this morning."
"I see, it looks like there's going to be so busy ti ahead."
"But you all have been working so hard for so long, you definitely deserve a good rest. Tonight, I'll have Burton arrange a big dinner at the Guild Hall."
After a short conversation, the group parted ways.
"Now that they're back, the nation-building ceremony should be starting soon, right?"
Walking along, Kreya asked Kane beside her.
Kane nodded, "Of course, now that they're back, it ans the work on that side is almost done."
"We should head back too. It seems like we'll be having a small session at the Guild Hall."
With that, the two quickly disappeared down the street.
