"Kane, co out to eat."
Hearing Kreya’s call from outside the door, Kane finally snapped out of his reverie, looking at the books he had already read on his right hand side.
There were already three or four thick volus there. He closed the book in his hand, stretched lazily, and walked to the window.
Looking up at the sky, a cold, full moon hung there.
Unknowingly, he had been reading for so long.
The unknown knowledge, the various novel chanical creations in the books, and those dungeons that had already disappeared.
These things completely fascinated Kane.
He opened the door of his room and walked into the living room.
Kreya, wearing an apron, erged from the kitchen, carrying a plate of stewed at in her hands.
"So you finally decided to co out."
Hearing Kreya’s tease, Kane replied with a cheeky grin, "I couldn’t help it; that knowledge is just too useful for ."
Seeing Kane’s current appearance, Kreya smiled and walked towards the dining table.
Longbei and izike were already waiting for the two of them at the table.
After placing the final dish on the table, Kreya took off her apron.
Kane found a seat next to her, then turned his head and asked, "How did it go exploring the city?"
Kreya brushed her red hair back from her ear and replied, "I didn’t explore much, just found a post station to let my family know I’m safe."
Hearing her response, Kane rembered he should also let Uncle Ge Mu’s family know he was safe.
At this mont, Longbei handed Kane a bottle of wine, with a volcano symbol on it.
"What is this stuff?"
Longbei took out a few more identical bottles from his space equipnt and handed them to the others.
Then he raised his own bottle and said to everyone, "I bought this today from a pub owner, who’s actually from my hotown. I didn’t expect to taste my hotown’s wine here."
He then opened the bottles in front of everyone, releasing a rich scent of wheat.
"Don’t worry, this is beer, a specialty from my hotown, ’Molten Mountain.’
Hearing Longbei’s explanation, everyone took a sip of the beer in front of them.
The taste was undeniably quite good, arguably the best beer Kane had ever tasted.
Not that he drank beer often, anyway.
"This beer is really nice."
"Isn’t it! Hahaha!"
Hearing everyone praise the product from his hotown, Longbei was very pleased.
Kane then began to devour the delicious food on the table.
He cut a piece of lamb chop and put it in his mouth.
Hmm, this taste is nice.
Turning his head to Kreya, he complinted, "The flavors of these dishes are quite good! A step up from before."
Hearing Kane’s praise, Kreya smiled, her eyes curving with delight.
"Pretty good, huh? All thanks to what I learned from Uncle Burton recently."
After finishing the al, Kane returned to his room, delving further into the knowledge he had just acquired.
The more he learned, the more he felt the chanical manufacturing technology of this world was too chaotic, but after all, it was cobbled together from various dungeons.
Kane looked at the blueprint in his hand, which ca from an introductory book. It detailed the various parts and assembly process of this chanical device.
The reader only needed to manufacture these parts and put them together.
It was sothing like a practice toy for enthusiasts.
Using magic power, he directly molded all sorts of parts from the finished perspective drawing.
In no ti, the toy depicted on the blueprint had been created.
As to why it was called a toy—as it was a flying sphere that could go two ters off the ground.
Inside was an extrely simple magic core.
These magic cores were basically made from magic materials dispelled from the dungeons.
One could even buy various specs of magic cores at the chanical Association. Of course, these magic cores could only be used for equipnt and blueprints from the association.
Most chanicians had their own specs for magic cores. However, for equipnt sold, they still had to be made according to the association’s specs.
Kane began infusing his magic power into the core of the chanical creation.
Feeling the magic power wildly surging from within him into the core, Kane finally sensed that sothing was wrong.
These chanical devices were not at all compatible with his skills; they were designed to be powered by externally manufactured magic batteries.
However, the device Kane made with his core skills required him to infuse magic power personally.
Even if all his internal magic power surged into the core, it could barely activate such a device a few tis. This device was just the most basic toy, not to ntion higher-level chanical equipnt.
But it wasn’t completely unsolvable. From what Kane learned in books earlier, the technology used by the chanical Association now was the most suitable for them and the general public.
There were also various unsuitable technologies archived in the chanical equipnt library.
The registered technologies involved runes, arrays, and so pure chanical power-driven manufacturing techniques.
He dismissed the creations in hand and perford a simple sort of the books piled on the floor.
He picked out the books introducing and using magic core technology, as these were no longer of much use to him.
The remaining books were mostly on chanical structures, choices of external tallic materials, and equipnt construction.
He then molded the original launcher and observed it in his hand, although made of transparent materials, Kane could still feel it.
Based on the information gathered during Kane’s previous disassembly and modification processes.
The power source of this launcher was a rune placed at the tail of the launcher.
When Kane wanted to launch, most of the magic power would surge into this rune, and then it would emit energy to expel the object inside the launch port.
However, Kane simply couldn’t mold this rune. The rune seed to be a part of the skill itself, as once the skill stone was removed, the rune disappeared as well.
He could only sense its presence, but what it looked like or the symbols on it were completely unknown.
Whether the rune-powered technology recorded in the books matched the rune in Kane’s launcher could not be determined yet.
It seed he could only search in the chanical Association’s library for anything similar to know for sure.
Better get so rest first, he thought, approaching the bed and seeing Cotton Candy sound asleep on it.
Kane shook his head with a smile, gently moving Cotton Candy to the side, and laid on the bed, turning off the magic lamp.
