A horde of powerful, chaotic-evil Demons.
Even faced with Longbei’s over-the-top entrance, even as Longbei was slaughtering them like crazy, these Demons still charged forward bloodthirstily.
There was simply no such thing as a "morale collapse" option; for the Demon Army, that concept didn’t exist at all.
Even if the enemy was completely wiped out, they would still remain insane.
A Giant like a mountain? What the hell is that, die!
Along a battle line that stretched for over one kiloter.
Every hundred ters or so you could see one Clone of izike; these Clones waved their four hands as dense red dust poured out, turning into countless ribbons that surged down onto the bodies of the Dwarfs below.
Providing them with precise healing.
For izike as he was now, this kind of massive, fine-tuned control wasn’t worth ntioning.
Thanks to izike’s presence, these people who already didn’t fear death fought with even greater ferocity.
As long as you know that right when you’re about to die, soone will pull you back up, your fighting power naturally doubles, and you just get braver the more you fight.
izike’s main body, anwhile, had been following right behind Longbei the whole ti.
While healing Longbei and adding Enhancents, he was also blocking those enemies who wanted to sneak attack from behind or from all sorts of nasty angles.
At three-color stage, even in a support role, he was absolutely rciless when it ca to killing.
Across the whole battlefield, the Dwarf side now had an overwhelming advantage.
So crafty Demons had already started calculating how to run.
Just then, another Dwarf army, numbering in the thousands, appeared behind the Demons.
They cut off every possible escape route for the Demons.
Only those Demons that could fly or Escape into the Shadow managed to get away with their lives.
The arduous decisive battle finally ca to an end.
Longbei also withdrew from his Titan form.
He collapsed on the battlefield, panting heavily. Even at three-color, maintaining such a full-power Titan form still burned a lot of Physical Strength.
It was, after all, an ancient Star Realm Creation bloodline.
Although there were no color-level combatants among these Demons, there were quite a few who had reached the bottleneck of the gold level.
Under a mass siege, even Longbei had taken so serious injuries.
izike was squatting beside Longbei, healing him.
A dozen or so Clones were scattered around the battlefield, giving ergency treatnt to those Dwarfs who had not died outright.
Many female Dwarfs wearing simple Armor and cloth robes ca out from the tents behind the lines and joined the treatnt and rescue effort as well.
Only when Longbei’s treatnt was finished and he had recovered enough Physical Strength to stand up.
The Dwarf who had been waiting nearby, encased head to toe in fine Heavy Armor, imdiately stepped forward. He had enviable orange-yellow beard hanging straight down to his waist.
Such a beard also represented his age and status.
This was an elder.
"Lord Longbei! These are the things you requested."
As he spoke, two soldiers at his side stepped forward, each holding an iron tray piled high with dense Magic Stones of silver and gold.
These were all the Magic Stones that had been constantly pouring automatically off Longbei’s body during the battle—after all, Magic Stones stored in Space Equipnt wouldn’t automatically absorb energy.
On a large-scale battlefield, this kind of operation was absolutely essential.
izike stepped up and put the Magic Stones into the Space Equipnt, while the others waited respectfully by the side.
Longbei also walked over and patted the general on the shoulder. In his other hand he was holding a Fog Ball.
Inside the Fog Ball, the red cloud Mist was already gone.
"This world is safe now. There are so Demons left, but I believe you can handle them completely."
"It’s all thanks to your help, my lord. Otherwise, I don’t know how many fine lads we would’ve lost."
Hearing the general’s words, Longbei burst out laughing, then patted his shoulder again and said, "Even though the world has been shattered, at least our people have remained on this Fragnt. Life will only get better from here on out, trust ."
"Mm!"
Hearing Longbei’s words, the general also nodded heavily.
Longbei’s actions during this ti had already won them over and earned their trust.
"Alright, that’s enough talk. We should get going—there are many more worlds waiting for us to save them."
Longbei said with a smile, then shook the Fog Ball in his hand.
"Get ready to welco a new world, alright? And rember what I told you—do a good job."
With that, Longbei didn’t wait for the general to say anything. He directly hurled the Fog Ball up into the sky.
The Mist Wall encircling the whole world began to collapse like a tsunami.
But the intelligent lifeforms of this world seed unable to see it, and showed not the slightest panic or awareness.
They were simply subrged by a vast sea of white clouds.
Longbei and the others were the sa.
"This World Fragnt should be able to contribute a lot to us, right?"
Having returned to the Mist, Longbei turned and asked izike.
To Longbei’s question, izike only nodded to indicate affirmation.
This was the first living World Fragnt they had encountered during this expedition outside the Mist World, and within it there was even Longbei’s own kin—a large Dwarf castle.
As for the culprit who destroyed the world, there was no need to guess: it was the countless Demons.
Fortunately, although this World Fragnt was not small in area, the number of Demons left on it wasn’t outrageous, so they had been locked in a back-and-forth tug-of-war with the Dwarfs.
Longbei and his party’s arrival allowed these Dwarfs to clear out most of the Demons in less than a week.
Couldn’t be helped—those Demons just didn’t have any god-level combat power.
In fact, although there was a crisis event in this living World Fragnt, the real problem wasn’t actually these Demons, but an Abyssal Teleportation Gate that was still active.
After all, if you’re going to exterminate every so-called evil Race, then where did all those Devils and Demons in the Mist World co from in the first place?
If Kafka were here, he’d be filing a discrimination complaint again.
Once they smashed the Teleportation Gate, Longbei and the others could have simply left and marked this Dungeon.
But the ones fighting these Demons happened to be Dwarfs.
As a fellow Dwarf, it was almost impossible for Longbei to just watch his own people be at a disadvantage and keep getting their numbers reduced by the Demon Slayer tally.
Just thinking that if, later on, this World Fragnt turned into a Dungeon and the Fragnt’s will was taken over by Demons made Longbei’s skin crawl.
So the Demons could only bla their own bad luck.
Besides, even if these Demons survived until the World Ring phase, they would still end up being marked as a hazard.
Cases where the passage of ti wore away their destructive nature were practically unbelievably rare.
Otherwise, Demon-kind in the Mist World wouldn’t be so scarce.
They were even, at one point, rarer than Angels.
There were more Devils than them.
After all, Devils were still lawful in the end.
