After what felt like eternity, Skyler's eyes finally flickered open. He groaned, feeling the ache in his overexerted muscles...
Wait a second. Now that he noticed, with his senses returning, he felt no pain in his body, only a warm, comforting feeling. He didn't even feel hungry! As if he were full!
'Huh...!?'
His eyes snapped open with a start. They were a bit dazed as he glanced around. The blue within them gleaming with an ethereal glow before the ethereal glow vanished.
"What the?"
It took him a mont to recall all that had occurred before he lost consciousness. He shuddered and closed his eyes to check his lightning elental crystal, which he knew had cracked a bit before he blacked out.
A look of utter bewildernt washed over his face as he frantically searched for even the slightest fissure in his lightning crystal!
But there was nothing! In fact, it seed even more robust than before! How in the world was that even possible?
Skyler imdiately jumped out from the ordinary-looking wooden bed he had been resting on. He was still confined within a barrier, but at least this ti, the calamity hadn't thrown his unconscious body onto a stone bed! Regardless, ignoring all this, he shouted with uncontainable excitent.

Skyler's eyes glead as he checked his newfound strength. Damn, he has grown powerful again! To top it off, his fifth, the water elent has been unlocked!
He had no clue how it occurred since he was still a 10-star, but who cares? What mattered was he had grown stronger!
Let's not forget the mythic-tier skill!
"Yes! I guess suffering under that cruel, heartless bastard wasn't just a waste!"
He clenched his fists, but his excitent evaporated like water on a desert rock as his gaze fell to the end of his status. His entry to Battle Royal was locked!
"Locked? Why? It was available the last ti I checked my status!"
A familiar voice whispered behind him, jolting him forward a step with a gasp.
"It's because this place is no longer linked with yours or mine's reality. It's under . I can't let you vanish on , now can I?"
Skyler opened his mouth, then closed it. He was happy that he was becoming strong so fast, but knowing that even his final escape route from this jerk was cut off soured him.
'I really want to punch him. Just once.'
In stark contrast to his inner thoughts, a familiar innocent smile graced his lips. A smile that would scare 505. He rubbed his hands and scooted closer to his master.
"Dear Master—!"
He was cut off imdiately.
"Spare the drama. Get to the point."
Skyler's smile faltered, but he pressed on. Why wouldn't he? He had no sha.
"Ahem, master. You ntioned you would give resources to form more elental crystals. I am unsure how you knew of my affinity for multiple elents. Perhaps it's because you're so powerful and amazing. So, I won't hide that I intend to create my next elental crystal. Then, please help reach 10-star in that elent, okay?"
The calamity's lips, concealed behind the scales, twitched. Yet, he couldn't even be angry since he was just as shaless.
"You want to create your next elental crystal? Hmm, I'll give you the resources. As for helping you reach 10-star in it, that you have to do yourself. Too much of my power isn't good for your constitution. It's better if you unlock its power naturally."
Skyler's eyes widened.
"Master, you even know about my special constitution! I haven't even told my parents about it yet! I know you are a calamity, but just how powerful are you?"
Unbeknownst to him, his master observed how easily he was becoming comfortable around him, despite calling him a calamity that could end his life without warning.

"How powerful...? Power doesn't matter. I simply know everything about you."
He humd and narrowed his eyes.
"Also, stop calling a calamity. I'm not a calamity. I was resting. You woke up."
Skyler rolled his eyes. Nonsense!
As if he would believe it. This dangerous master of his was a calamity. He killed so many just because they entered the tomb.
Wait, now that he recalled, what happened to his cousins and their confidants? Were they killed, just like in the original story...?
With everything, he forgot about them.
Skyler swallowed his question, not really wanting to know what happened to them. He would know about it once he left this place and escaped the calamity intact.
He swiftly took the treasure that the man before him conjured out of thin air. It was a dim, dark blue, three-petal flower filled with dense blue Evol. It was more than enough for him to form his fifth elental crystal.
"Thank you, master! You are aweso!"
Yet, only monts later, when he was hurled into a bubbling volcano filled with creatures of fire Evol while his dear master nonchalantly muttered a water skill for him to learn, he retracted every word of praise.
"You freaking devil!! I am gonna die!!"
A chuckle echoed above him.
"You won't if you learn the skill on ti. Regardless, we shall begin your weapon training as well. What type of weapon do you use? What's your main weapon?"
Skyler just gave him a middle finger.
"Go to hell!"
