[Do you wish to join "Astralis Requiem"?]
"Yes," Lohan replied without hesitation.
[Welco to the Astralis Requiem Guild!]
With the welco ssage, Lohan felt a subtle connection between himself and Lisa for a mont, before it vanished and things returned to normal.
In the Elysium ga nu, a new tab appeared below [Friends].
[Guild]
Clicking there, Lohan saw a new interface.
[Astralis Requiem]
[mbers Online: 02]
[Guild Master: Lisa]
[Vice Guild Master: Halon]
The rest of the windows in this tab were empty, likely due to the lack of guild mbers, but suddenly, another bright blue window appeared in front of them.
[Reward for being the First Guild to acquire Elysium: Astral Chest]
[Astral Chest Lv 1: An upgradable dinsional inventory space, accessible to selected Guild mbers anywhere in Elysium, with the ability to preserve organic items without them spoiling.
Current Size: 10 cubic ters.
Upgrade Price: 1 Level 11 Mana Stone.]
Looking at the description of this reward, Lohan and Lisa were shocked!
Considering how much of a hassle it was to transport things from one place to another, this would now make it even easier to make money in Elysium!
As he turned to the fox, Lohan didn’t even have ti to say anything before the light that had brought him here appeared again, piercing through the clouds they were standing on and enveloping their bodies in an instant.
In the blink of an eye, Lohan and Lisa were back at the top of the Dungeon.
The Dungeon Core was still in Lisa’s hand, the Queen’s corpse was still on the ground—nothing had changed during the ti they were away.
Just as Lohan was about to speak to Lisa again, he was interrupted by another light—this ti blue and bright—appearing as a text box in front of him, followed by an audible alert like a blaring siren.
[Congratulations to Player ’Halon’ for becoming the first PK in Elysium’s Open World!]
Before he could react to that, another bright window followed by a siren appeared.
[Congratulations to ’Atralis Requiem’ for becoming the First Guild of Elysium!]
Looking at that, both Lohan and Lisa were shocked.
"This... did you happen to know this would happen, Lisa?" Lohan asked, not knowing how to react.
Lisa read and reread the notifications again, then replied, sighing in relief. "No... I didn’t know there would be notices like this... thank goodness we used an original na for the Guild; if I’d included any information related to in the real world, that would have caused a massive headache."
Upon hearing that, Lohan looked at the notice about him and grew concerned.
Halon was obviously just an anagram of Lohan, swapping the syllables LO and HA... that was the na the forr Lohan had chosen when creating his account on Elysium, thinking this was just a ga and that he’d be a nobody here too.
Who would have thought that at so point during his gaming, such an obvious anagram of his na would be announced to all the billions of players simultaneously?!
’Will this cause any trouble in the real world?’ He wondered uncertainly. ’I know there are thousands, tens of thousands, or maybe hundreds of thousands of people nad Lohan in the real world, right? After all, the Human Federation has established nurous human colonies across the universe; no one would imagine that the person responsible for this was just a poor kid from the Lower Zone, right?’
Thinking about this, Lohan cald down a bit, deciding to return to the normal routine of a random person from the Lower Zone afterward, so as not to arouse suspicion from interested parties.
Since he knew Lisa had great influence in the real world, and it was safer to stay under her wing than in the spotlight of ill-intentioned people, the best cover would be to simply maintain his random identity as an ordinary student from the Lower Zone.
’Right, I at least have to let the dust settle for a few days, or maybe a week...’ He made up his mind.
Even though losing a few hours of grinding per day wasn’t the best idea, considering his rapid growth rate and how powerful he’d beco—even though he needed a week of grinding just to reach the starting level of ordinary Players—Lohan was confident he wouldn’t be left behind.
Especially with his passive digestion, this would help that goal even more.
So to ensure this developnt, Lohan decided to invest a large amount of biomass in this skill this ti, even though the cost doubled with each new evolution.
Lisa, on the other hand, was holding the Dungeon Core in her mouth and pointing it toward a corner of the room.
From that core, a red light erged and materialized a wooden chest with silver details; these silver details were designed like beautiful stars in the sky, shining in a lovely blue that made the chest stand out in the dark room.
Looking at how much that chest was shining, Lohan was speechless.
"This is practically screaming ’valuable treasure, please steal ’... is there a way to turn off these effects?" he asked uncertainly.
Lisa tried using that red light on the chest to see if she could adjust it, but it was impossible. "That’s just how the chest looks... the most we could do is try to cover it with sothing..."
Hearing that, Lohan felt that leaving the tree with that chest there wouldn’t be very smart. "Can’t we just keep this chest stored away?"
Lisa pointed the light at the chest and it disappeared, bringing relief to Lohan, but right after that Lisa made the chest reappear. "We can only use the chest and the ’inventory’ effect it gives us while the chest is spawned at our Guild base..."
"Crap..." Lohan complained.
The chest was simply too conspicuous, to the point where it was downright excessive.
Approaching the chest, Lohan tried to push it sowhere else, and to his relief, the chest didn’t even budge.
"Okay, at least no one can steal the chest itself, but what about opening it?" Lohan asked.
Lisa accessed the Dungeon Core and tried to find the answer.
Within seconds, she found it. "Anyone can open the physical chest, while only authorized guild mbers can access it remotely."
"Shit..." Lohan cursed, not know what the alerts about him and their guild made to other Players.
