That night, Evelyn still had no mory of what exactly happened.
She was always curious about how she ended up in the sa bed with him, and how she unknowingly lost her virginity.
Her cheeks flushed even more deeply red, facing the man who was legally her husband. But why did she feel so out of place?
Caden Lockwood had a playful, mischievous smile on his face as he parted his thin lips: "That night, I was passing by your room, and you pulled right in. No lights on, it was dark, and you pushed against the wall with a wild kiss like super glue; I couldn’t even push you away. I don’t know where you got such strength, you just started taking off my clothes. I’m a man, after all—a woman throws herself at , I naturally react. Especially when you kept calling Kiki and rubbing against ..."
"Uncle!" she interrupted him urgently, her eyes scattered, "I’m going to school; you take your ti eating!"
With that, she quickly dropped the bun, covered her face, raced to the bedroom, grabbed her bag, and hurriedly left the villa.
Even after running far away, she could seemingly still hear Caden Lockwood’s laughter lingering in her ears, making her so ashad she wanted to crawl into a hole.
Had she gone mad?
Was getting drunk like that?
Pulling him?
Pushing him?
Kissing him?
Picturing so fantasy scenes in her mind, she heavily pounded her head, tornted by those images, she felt like crying.
She had no heart for school, desperately needing to vent, so she could only call Cecilia Lynch to co out and hear her woes...
Hearing that in just one day Evelyn turned into Mrs. Lockwood, Cecilia Lynch opened her mouth wide in surprise, completely stunned.
"Say sothing!" Evelyn was on the verge of tears, "You can’t accept it either; imagine what it’s like for , the person involved. I really don’t know how I managed to survive this!"
Pausing montarily, she continued, "But now, I finally understand why you told to stay away from Uncle. With such a family background, he’s indeed more than I can handle!"
Cecilia sighed, "I’m sorry! I should have told you earlier that he’s a tall, rich, and handso guy, not a Cowherd."
"It’s not your fault," Evelyn shrugged helplessly. "Besides, even if you had told earlier, what was ant to happen would still have happened."
"So, what do you plan to do now?" Cecilia asked, "Are you really just going to be his contractual wife?"
"I don’t know either," Evelyn shook her head. "I gave him my first ti, and now I’m his wife, plus he’s helping find my brother, so it seems...I have no reason to leave!"
"Then just be a good Mrs. Lockwood!" Cecilia held Evelyn’s hand, "Actually, think about it, it’s not that awful, it’s not like you’re persistently after him. He wanted to marry you, and it seems he’s actually good to you!"
"Can you stand firm on anything?" Evelyn felt a headache, "Have you forgotten how firmly you were against being with him before? Do you think being a wealthy wife is that easy?"
"But aside from his overly noble status being hard to reach, everything else is great!" Cecilia sincerely stated.
Evelyn rolled her eyes and gazed at the sky helplessly.
In truth, she was utterly confused now, completely at a loss for what to do next.
The current life, she couldn’t even control the next second; it seed everything was dominated by Caden Lockwood.
She could only take one day at a ti, hoping after finding her brother, she might have figured out her future plans.
"Besides, are you really going to just let him sleep with you once, be his wife for free, and then get kicked away once his troubles are over?" Cecilia shook her head disapprovingly, "Isn’t that too losing and humiliating for you?"
[P.S.: Happy weekend, everyone! Rember to vote, darlings! Mwah!]
