Evelyn’s chest was filled with a swirling anger; right now, her mind was occupied with one single thought: Caden Lockwood actually deceived her!
And it was such an important matter!
How could he have the audacity to say none of it mattered?
Was sothing so significant just a trivial matter to him?
Did he truly feel no remorse?
Did he not feel guilty, not think he shouldn’t have lied to her?
"Who allowed you to ntion divorce over sothing so trivial?" Caden shouted harshly, his face dark with fury.
Being yelled at by Caden, Evelyn felt even more aggrieved.
"You’re being an to ?" Her large eyes welled up with tears, she murmured, "You’re actually being an to ? Boo-hoo-hoo—you made a mistake, yet you’re being an to ?"
"I..."
"Caden Lockwood, you big jerk!" Evelyn sniffled, "I am going to divorce you! With so many lawyers in the world, I refuse to believe I can’t find one to help with a divorce case!"
With that, she dashed toward the villa’s exit.
Caden’s head throbbed as he stopped Evelyn, angrily saying, "You’re wearing just pajamas, and you’re planning to run outside?"
Evelyn instinctively glanced at herself.
She had been so focused on grabbing her phone that she completely forgot her current attire was unsuitable for going out.
She bit her lip, glared at him once more, held her head high, and very assertively returned to the bedroom. She slamd the door shut, locked it to prevent Caden from following.
Caden stood in place, his mouth twitching awkwardly; he was utterly helpless against this angry woman.
Though he had deceived her, was that really a reason for such a huge temper tantrum?
Moreover, she ntioned the person she loves again.
Last ti he asked her if it was Logan Shaw she loved.
She said no.
Then who else?
Is there another man in her life?
Damn it!
Can’t she just settle down a bit?
Before long, Evelyn ca out, having changed her clothes.
She was still furious, clearly intending to continue heading out.
"Where are you going?" Caden called to her.
Evelyn wanted so badly to ignore him and just walk out.
Yet, she lacked the courage.
She felt helpless.
Why was she still afraid of him at such tis?
"Why do you care where I’m going?" Evelyn’s tone was unkind, "What does it have to do with you?"
"Going to see a lawyer?" Caden raised an eyebrow, coldly asked, "Want to divorce ?"
"Yes!" Evelyn replied, "Do you still want to lock up at ho?"
Looking at the disdain on Evelyn’s face, Caden’s temper flared instantly.
"Fine! Go!" he snarled through clenched teeth, "Go see if you can find a lawyer to handle your case!"
"Fine! Just you wait and see!" Evelyn was also pushed to the edge, "Let’s bet on this! I will definitely get this divorce!"
"Just try it!" Caden’s eyes narrowed, emitting a chilling glint, "If you can find a divorce lawyer, I’ll sign the papers!"
Evelyn clenched her fist, looking at Caden’s face, she really wanted to beat him up!
Not bothering to deal with him anymore, she turned and left.
"Don’t ask anyone else for help!" Caden warned, "No n are allowed, and no won either!"
"Forget you!" Evelyn said, covering her ears and running out.
Caden’s face turned livid with anger, as dark as if it had been dyed with ink.
Absolutely infuriating!
Why was he throwing a tantrum, couldn’t he just sit down and calmly talk with her?
In the end, it was indeed his fault initially.
Hearing the sound of the couple’s argunt, Aunt May quickly ca out of her room.
She saw Evelyn running out of the villa while Caden stood there looking as if he wanted to kill soone.
Aunt May was so frightened she shrank back a little.
"Sir," Aunt May softly spoke, "you and the Young Madam... had a fight?"
Caden’s cold gaze fixated on Aunt May, as he slightly parted his thin lips, "Evelyn normally cos into contact with which n? Has she ever ntioned she likes anyone to you?"
