Away from the office, Evelyn Morgan didn’t realize what was happening. After being led along by Caden Lockwood for several dozen ters, she pulled him back and exclaid urgently, "Why did you co out so quickly? Did you settle things? What did the principal say? Wait a minute... in just a few seconds, what could you have possibly discussed? Oh no! Your identity was discovered, wasn’t it? What am I going to do? I slept with... slept with a..."
Caden raised an eyebrow and naturally picked up her stamring words, "Slept with a very remarkable man."
Hearing this, Evelyn’s lips awkwardly curled, and tears sprang forth without warning, dampening her cute little face.
"It’s all over now!" She cried bitterly. "Boo hoo hoo—Uncle, I thought you would handle it!"
Looking at this woman who suddenly burst into tears, Caden’s face darkened, and he said coldly, "Who said I didn’t handle it?"
The tears absorbed themselves, and Evelyn blinked while looking at Caden, asking softly, "Handled... it?"
Caden nodded, his deanor naturally arrogant.
"Really?" She wiped away her tears, her tone full of disbelief, "How is that possible! How did you handle it? What did you say to the principal? So quickly?"
"Is this such a complicated matter?" Caden raised an eyebrow and retorted.
Evelyn nodded very seriously.
In her view, this matter was too complicated, too complicated, so complex that she couldn’t find any way to solve it.

Startled, she quickly backed away and raised her gaze to find his wild grin on his face. She pretended to be busy and avoided his eyes, but her heartbeat uncontrollably raced.
"Throw yourself into my arms so quickly?" He said with an ambiguous smile at the corner of his mouth, "Want to thank ? Hmm?"
"No, not at all!" She blushed red and could only change the subject, "Uncle, why did you tell the principal I’m your wife? Don’t you know that’s going to..."
"Trouble." He coldly spat out two words.
Evelyn’s eyes froze; he dismissed her just like that with two words?
Caden raised his brow, his tone laced with a strong sense of humor, "Your classmates, teachers, principal—they all think you’re my wife. If you spend ti explaining things, they’ll only believe you have bigger things to hide, so why bother wasting ti inviting more trouble?"
Upon hearing this, Evelyn’s face turned rigid.
She opened her mouth, trying to refute him, but her mind frustratingly failed her, unable to find any words to counter him.
"But... am I supposed to live my entire university life under the title of your wife?" She asked, troubled.
