"What did he say to you?" Julian Keaton asked curiously.
As if recalling sothing, Evelyn quickly walked over to Aunt May.
"Aunt May!" Evelyn asked urgently, "Did you receive a phone call from him the day before yesterday? He didn’t speak and just hung up?"
"No!" Aunt May shook her head, "He didn’t call the day before yesterday."
"Didn’t... did he not?" Evelyn was a bit stunned, "I definitely dialed your number, and it was you who answered!"
"He really didn’t call the day before yesterday," Aunt May assured with certainty.
"Is it related to L?" Julian Keaton continued to interject, "Don’t trust anything related to L. He’s a hacker, very skilled; he can pull off anything."
Evelyn held her breath, as if a bucket of ice water had been poured from her head to her feet, freezing every cell in her body.
It was as if the world had turned upside down, Evelyn’s face instantly pale.
So, is it really possible that Logan Shaw isn’t the big brother?
It wasn’t Logan Shaw who deceived her, but rather, L who misled her?
"Aunt May." Evelyn trembled heavily, "I know you won’t tell who the big brother is, but let ask you, is the big brother Logan Shaw? You can answer this, right?"
"Young Master Shaw?" Aunt May looked surprised, "No! He is not the one!"

Evelyn’s legs went weak, nearly collapsing to the ground.

She turned on her phone and saw N ssages from Logan Shaw, and N ssages from Caden Lockwood.
Not bothering to read the ssages, Evelyn imdiately dialed L’s number.
The prolonged waiting ring seed to last a century, Evelyn’s eyes were fragnted, her heart pounding rapidly, yet her breath was held throughout.
The mont the call connected, Evelyn shivered intensely with nervousness and blurted out anxiously, "Who the hell are you? Why are you doing this to harm ?"
He actually used such a thod to mislead who the big brother is?
Evelyn couldn’t comprehend L’s intentions at all.
"You’ll gradually realize, I’m not harming you by doing this." L said softly, "Evelyn, trust , leave Caden Lockwood, he’s not right for you, really!"
"Not right?" Evelyn sounded as if she had heard a very funny joke, "Whether he’s right for or not? Is it for you to decide? Who do you think you are?"
"Who I am, Caden Lockwood should have already guessed." L lowered his voice, "But, he doesn’t have the courage to tell you, including about that girl who committed suicide, he doesn’t dare ntion it to you."
"Whether he tells or not, it’s between him and !" Evelyn shouted at the top of her lungs, "Why do you have to ddle!"
L remained silent.
Across the phone, Evelyn could clearly sense L’s breathing had lightened, feeling quite oppressive.
"But you used to always comfort and encourage through your ssages," Evelyn said softly, "Who... are you really?"
"Many things, change with circumstances," L spoke lightly, "I initially let you stay by Caden Lockwood’s side because I thought the one you loved was Logan Shaw; as Mrs. Lockwood, you could help with many things. But now, if you continue staying by Caden Lockwood’s side, the one who will end up in pain will definitely be you!"
