The heart pounded "thump thump," and Evelyn felt alive, as if every cell in her body was dancing, her heart sweet as if wrapped in a large cloud of cotton candy, and even the air she breathed turned sweet.

She often daydread for half a day, unaware when class ended or began, and even had no strength to counter Caden’s occasional difficulties. Whatever he commanded, she did.
As for the concern he showed, she avoided it whenever she could, unwilling to get closer.
That day, Evelyn had been absent-minded in the classroom for a long ti before realizing school was over.
Hugging her textbooks, she hurried out of the teaching building. Passing by the third floor, she heard a very beautiful piano lody.
The lody was lodious and distant, carrying a faint sadness that attracted her involuntarily, even resonating with her, making her sad along with the pianist.
Moving her feet to the piano room, she wanted to see who was so talented that even soone like her, who didn’t understand music, felt like crying.
Huddled at the window and looking in, when she saw the profile of the person playing the piano, Evelyn’s breath stilled, her body becoming stiff, her eyes staring dazedly at that profile, forgetting to move.
It was... her big brother!
How could he be here!
After the initial nervousness, Evelyn beca more flustered.
Though she hadn’t yet confird that this man was her big brother, she thought it was actually ninety-nine percent certain!
Now, he was in there, separated from her by just one door. Should she hide awkwardly like last ti, or should she go up and greet him?
There was only him in the piano room. If she let go of such a good opportunity, she would bla herself for a lifeti!
Evelyn was so conflicted that she stomped her feet but still hadn’t figured out whether to go in or hide.
"Student," Logan Shaw walked over to the door, looking at Evelyn, "Are you here to play the piano?"
