Chapter 238: Necromancy Jewelry

“Ladies and gentlen, thank you all for attending our company’s spring collection launch of the ready-to-wear wizard robes. Today, I will be explaining the brand philosophy, design inspirations, and product functionalities of our new line. Your feedback and suggestions are also most welco at any ti.”

Inside the main hall of the Necromancy Group’s exhibition building, a middle-aged man around forty-five years old, standing tall and dressed impeccably, with a pair of silver-gray semi-rimd glasses, was giving an opening speech on stage.

“Is that the founder of the Necromancy Group, Fanpes-Necromancy? He looks quite young.”

From the second row beneath the stage, Lichie-Siose looked at the elegant man on stage and whispered to Shuca-Berg beside her.

“He’s not young at all—rumor has it, he’s already one hundred and seventy-six years old.”

“One hundred and seventy-six! Could he be—a formal witch?”

To Lichie-Siose’s question, Shuca-Berg rely shook his head.

“I’m not sure. Maybe a warlock—but definitely not an ordinary transcendent.”

In the world of witches, although witches ford the ruling class, many other types of transcendent beings existed as well.

For example, knights, rangers, beast tars, and so on. However, their transcendent paths were limited to the developnt of physical strength or external forces. Ultimately, they were low-tier transcendents.

Even when their strength reached its peak, their lifespan wouldn’t surpass one hundred and fifty years—they were still mortals.

Despite that, compared to witch apprentices and formal witches who made up less than one percent of the population, these groups held an overwhelming nurical advantage.

“The design inspiration for this spring ready-to-wear collection cos from various natural wonders—dancing frost flowers, blazing fla cores. Each series of wizard robes not only corresponds to a specific elent but also incorporates distinct features in its functional enhancents—”

Fanpes-Necromancy spoke with excellent eloquence. As he continued introducing the products, nurous models dressed in different styles of wizard robes entered from the back of the exhibition hall, fluttering across the stage like butterflies in bloom.

“Why hasn’t Janna co out yet?”

Watching the myriad of young models on stage, Lichie-Siose, attending a product launch event in person for the first ti, leaned forward curiously toward the backstage.

“Janna is the officially designated spokesperson of the Necromancy Group. She’ll surely make a grand entrance—besides, today they’re also announcing her endorsent for Necromancy Jewelry. She won’t appear too early.”

Because of Anna-Moonshadow, Shuca-Berg had attended a few brand launches before, so he was fairly familiar with the process.

“She’s really lucky. Just started her career and already secured two witch endorsents. From now on, she won’t need to spend a coin on wizard robes or magical accessories—”

Hearing Lichie-Siose’s words, Shuca-Berg pursed his lips, eyes filled with envy.

Like Lichie-Siose, Shuca-Berg was also a “veteran” of the opera scene. Yet until now, he had never landed a single endorsent.

Even though Shuca-Berg had solid professional skills and a good appearance, compared to a phenonon-level opera star like Janna, he lagged too far behind in both popularity and comrcial value.

The product showcase lasted for about an hour. As the models exited the stage, the lights in the exhibition hall gradually dimd.

Then, accompanied by rapid drumbeats, a massive spotlight descended from the ceiling, illuminating the center of the stage like a dancefloor beam.

“Next is the second segnt of this launch event. Please welco the official spokesperson for both the Necromancy Group’s wizard robe collection and Necromancy Jewelry—Miss Janna-Roland!”

Applause erupted like waves across the exhibition hall. Under the spotlight, Janna stepped into the light wearing a deep black wizard robe and a rose-red gemstone necklace around her neck.

“Click—click—”

Jewels and beauty complented each other. Under the flash of caras as bright as daylight, Janna, adorned with the rose gemstone necklace, looked like a goddess of the night, exuding boundless allure and captivating all eyes.

“Hello everyone, I’m Janna-Roland—”

Looking at the crowd packed beneath the stage, Janna, long accustod to grand occasions, didn’t even need the help of the 【Muscle Control】 talent. After adjusting her smile to perfection, she began smoothly delivering the pre-rehearsed presentation about her wizard robe and the rose gemstone necklace she wore.

It was precisely Janna’s appearance that ignited the exhibition hall with unprecedented fervor.

Several tis, Janna’s speech was interrupted by the overly enthusiastic shouts of the audience.

“Looks like this necklace is going to sell out in no ti—”

Watching a few borderline-out-of-control fans in the crowd, Lichie-Siose muttered, full of envy.

“No way, considering its value—it’s priced at one thousand Gold Surels. It won’t sell out that fast.”

“What? One thousand Gold Surels?”

Hearing Shuca-Berg’s words, Lichie-Siose’s eyes widened.

“Normal magical accessories only cost a few hundred Gold Surels. How dare they price it that high!?”

“There’s no helping it. After all, that necklace is a limited edition—”

The night launch event slowly ca to a close amidst the clamor.

After finishing her day’s work, Janna removed her makeup, returned the rose necklace to the Necromancy Group, changed back into her wizard robe, and quietly exited through the side door of the exhibition hall.

“Is it this late already?”

Looking up at the starry night sky, Janna, using 【Psychology Invisibility】, quickly made her way toward the academy along the path she had co.

“Janna—”

As she reached the end of the alley, Janna, moving swiftly with the help of 【Light Feather Spell】, was suddenly called from behind.

“Julie? What are you doing here?”

Seeing that it was Julie-Ann, Janna’s tense expression relaxed.

“The director sent to find you—sothing happened at the troupe. He wants us to return imdiately to deal with it.”

“Sothing happened at the troupe? What is it? Is it serious?”

Faced with Janna’s barrage of questions, Julie-Ann didn’t answer imdiately. She just walked toward Janna, her face full of urgency.

“I’m not sure of the details, but it seems to involve the Necromancy Group’s endorsent contract. You need to step in—”

Thud!

As Julie-Ann drew closer, a dagger coated in deadly poison suddenly appeared in her hand and, in a flash too fast to dodge, plunged straight into Janna’s heart.

“Damn it, it’s just an illusion!”
