That afternoon, after leaving the dormitory, Janna had gone first to Vivian’s dorm. But upon reaching the door, she discovered Vivian had already returned ho.
So, Janna had no choice but to store the cake she had bought for Vivian and head to the first floor of the Magic Tower instead. There, she bought all the materials needed for the 【Ancient God Contract】 ritual from Black Cat Bell.

As the dim blue fla rapidly burned, translucent candle wax dripped down onto the center of the ritual platform.

This was, by far, the most difficult and least successful step of the entire ritual.
Normally, 【Ancient God Species】 were immortal beings with incredibly long lifespans. Their strength wasn’t always overwhelmingly powerful, but their wisdom was invariably far beyond that of ordinary beings.
