Chapter 388: Glory Arena

Apart from its abundant mineral resources of Elental Essence, the entertainnt industry within the Elental Soul Wizards’ gathering place was also thriving.

In addition to opera, casinos, polo, and other forms of entertainnt, competitions featuring Transcendents as the main perforrs were also one of the major sources of inco for the Elental Soul gathering place.

Among them, the most famous venue was none other than the largest Open-Air Arena within Elental Soul City—the Glory Arena.

The Glory Arena not only had a massive venue that could accommodate tens of thousands of spectators at the sa ti, but also featured all kinds of magical crystal screens for enlarging projections of people, as well as advanced arrays that could transform the arena into battlefields of different elents—all of which had been constructed with enormous investnt.

“Heavens, just the thought of so many people coming to watch on that day makes extrely nervous——”

“Wizard Inventions are subject to patent confidentiality and will not be open to the public.”

Although Gawen-Tull spoke in a very soft voice, Lilith-Mag, who was sitting next to her, could still hear it clearly.

“Not only that, but trials in Alchemy, Potion-making, and Healing have too little entertainnt value, so they won’t be held in public either.”

Hearing Lilith-Mag’s words, Janna imdiately realized that among all the trials, only the Transfiguration Trial would be held in the Glory Arena.

“Professor, doesn’t that an only Janna will be taking the public trial in the Glory Arena?”

Learning that she wouldn’t have to show her face, the slightly socially anxious Gawen-Tull visibly relaxed. Still, when she looked at Janna, her gaze inevitably carried a trace of “schadenfreude.”

“In theory, yes. The evaluation chanism of the Transfiguration Trial ensures that battles are inevitable, and battles between Wizard Apprentices are the biggest ticket-sellers for arenas.”

As Lilith-Mag said, even before the Joint Trial of Professionals began, the hosting rights and broadcasting rights for the Andrew-Gamp Transfiguration Trial had already been fiercely contested by the major arenas.

After all, in normal tis, the protagonists of arena performances were usually knights or warriors of other races—ordinary Transcendents. Wizard Apprentices almost never appeared in arenas.

But this ti, since the Transfiguration Trial was entirely composed of Wizard Apprentices, such an extrely rare spectacle was bound to attract countless combat enthusiasts to witness it in person.

Not to ntion anything else, Wizards themselves naturally carried an aura of mystery, as well as overwhelming strength beyond the reach of ordinary people.

Thus, when commoners learned that by spending a certain amount of money, they could witness the battles of powerful Wizards live, it was bound to draw massive crowds to the arena.

And massive crowds ant ticket revenues far beyond the usual, along with imasurable comrcial value. Sponsorships, endorsents, naming rights, exposure, and even, to so extent, boosting the tourism industry of the Elental Soul gathering place—such events would stimulate consumption and drive the growth of the entire industrial chain.

“Da-da-da-da—”

Under the driving of Goblin Billy, Janna and her companions soon returned to the Crystal Rose Inn.

“Lady Mag, I’ll be taking my leave. If you need anything, please contact Billy anyti—of course, that includes you two beautiful young Witches as well.”

Since they had eaten lunch in a private room at the Taste Bud Storm restaurant, Janna hadn’t deliberately covered her face.

So it wasn’t until that noon that Goblin Billy finally saw Janna’s true appearance.

And upon glimpsing Janna’s true face, Goblin Billy was not only stunned and amazed, but also as thrilled as a fan eting his idol.

Just like Hui, the goblin working at the Bauhinia Bank in Turin City, Goblin Billy was also a devoted opera enthusiast.

And his favorite role played by Janna was not Olivia from Song of the Ocean, which was the most widely circulated,

but Natasha, whom Janna had played in Bloodshadow Rose during her youth.

“At six o’clock this evening, the two of you co to my room. Don’t be late.”

“Yes, Professor.”

After reminding Janna and Gawen-Tull, Lilith-Mag headed upstairs first, returning to her room.

“So, how about we take this afternoon to go out for a walk?”

Once Lilith-Mag had gone upstairs, the long-suffocated Gawen-Tull finally exhaled deeply. She then tugged at Janna, whispering softly in her ear.

“That’s exactly what I was thinking.”

With that, the two imdiately hit it off. They exchanged a smile, and freed from Lilith-Mag’s “supervision,” they no longer held back. They rushed out of the Crystal Rose Inn straight toward the busiest comrcial street in Elental Soul City.

“Clack—”

Accompanied by the sound of a turning key, Janna—looking a bit like a wolf-fox in her deanor—pushed open the door. Without bothering to remove her wizard robe, she plopped directly onto the bed.

“According to Professor Mag, there’s more special training tomorrow morning at eight…”

Rubbing her temples, she glanced at the clock, which already read 11:37 p.m., and sighed. Forcing herself to stay awake, she stood up, undressed, and prepared to bathe.

Earlier that afternoon, after shopping with Gawen-Tull, it had already been past five by the ti they returned. After washing up and tidying herself, it was just about the ti to et Lilith-Mag.

When they entered her room as scheduled, Janna’s five-hour-long training “nightmare” began.

First ca Gawen-Tull. Since her Emotional Bullet was already relatively developed, Lilith-Mag rely gave her so suggestions for improvent before letting her leave.

But when it was Janna’s turn, Lilith-Mag directly cast a spell on the spot, opening a Spatial Rift and taking the still-dazed Janna into an Elental Plane overflowing with intense fire elent.

“Splash—”

With the sound of running water in the washroom, the exhausted Janna didn’t have ti to soak in the Alchemical Bathtub. Instead, she simply took a quick shower.

“Knock-knock-knock—”

Just as Janna had changed into her pajamas and was about to turn off the lights to ditate, a short series of knocks suddenly sounded from outside the window.

“Who is it?”

“Caw—Apprentice, there’s an urgent package for you.”

Rook?

Hearing that familiar hoarse voice outside the window, Janna froze for a mont. But soon, she walked over and opened the window.

“Lord Rook, how did you find ?”
