As they stepped out of the spatial rift and found no enemies lying in ambush, both Richard Eva and Soro Flare, with their ample experience, let out a sigh of relief and withdrew the spells that were ready to launch from their wands.
After all, a Blackbone Grove apprentice had entered the rift ahead of them.
If he had exited earlier and laid traps at the entrance, they would have been forced into another battle.
“Richard, did you bring your flying artifact?”
“If I had that thing, I’d have pulled it out long ago for everyone to use. Do you think I’d wait until now?”
“Never mind then. I thought you’d be prepared.”
With that, Soro waved his right hand, and a flying artifact shaped like a red velvet carpet appeared from the interdinsional space ring on his right hand.
