One against three!
This was what everyone was thinking.
When did Su Qing get so tough? Three adults, and Su Qing was just beating them down. That kick was so powerful, it sent Su Shengguo and his wife sprawling to the ground together!
At this point, Su Shengguo’s family of three were out of the question—even Su i didn’t dare step forward. Su Qing was simply too vicious. It was the New Year, after all. They decided not to go looking for a beating.
In the end, it was Su Lifeng who showed so decency, stepping forward to help Zheng Erlian and Su Shengguo to their feet.

"Su Qing, you damn girl, you..." Zheng Erlian, still dizzy, was helped up by Su Lifeng just in ti to see her eldest son and Su Shengguo fall to the ground again. Furious, she pointed at Su Qing, about to curse her out.
Su Qing sneered and said, "It’s the New Year. If you don’t want a peaceful holiday, I’ll play along. Let’s see who breaks first."
Zheng Erlian’s voice trembled with anger. "My Lidong was just kindly reminding you to show so filial piety to your grandparents. Was that wrong? Don’t forget, even if you’ve formally separated from the Old Su Family, you’re still their granddaughter! It’s the New Year! It’s one thing not to co back to the main house for dinner, but you can’t just give them nothing to show your respect, can you?"
"Hah!" Su Qing said coldly. "Just now, Su Lidong told your family has nothing to eat for the New Year, that you’re reduced to eating husks and wild greens. But I just gave Grandma and Grandpa their support money for the entire year two days ago—twenty-four yuan! I refuse to believe you can’t put together a decent holiday al with that much money."

Su Shengguo and Zheng Erlian, who had just scrambled to their feet, were both stunned.
While the twenty-four yuan was ant for the old couple’s support, borrowing it to prepare for the New Year would have been more than enough for their large family to eat quite well during the holidays.

But Zheng Erlian wasn’t convinced. "Lidong is your older cousin! You beat him up like this, don’t you think you should be held responsible?"
"I haven’t even brought up the fact that he ca here looking for trouble. I was just minding my own business at ho. Who did I provoke?" Su Qing was unmoved. She then looked at Su Shengguo. "Uncle, if you continue to let your wife and son co here and bother , then I won’t be so polite with you anymore."
Su Qing’s words sent a jolt through Su Shengguo, and he imdiately understood her aning. At this point, he couldn’t be bothered with anything else. He quickly grabbed his family mbers and started pulling them toward the Old Su Family’s ho. "That’s enough. Let’s go back."
Zheng Erlian was reluctant. "But look at Lidong’s bruised and swollen face."
"I said, we’re going back." Su Shengguo shot Zheng Erlian a glare and forcibly dragged the mother and son away. Su Lidong, still dazed from Su Qing’s beating, followed Su Shengguo back to the Old Su Family’s ho in a confused stupor.
As for the other mbers of the Old Su Family, they had already slipped away quietly when Su Qing started making her threats.
’If we don’t sneak away now, are we supposed to stay here and get beaten? Who knows if that damn girl will go crazy and pound on each of us one by one?’
Su Qing raised an eyebrow at the retreating figures of the Su family mbers, let out a disdainful snort, and turned to close her door.
When the group returned to the main house, Old Su and his wife gasped when they saw the state Su Lidong was in. They gained a whole new level of understanding of just how ruthless Su Qing had beco.
Zheng Erlian was seething with pent-up anger. Not daring to vent it on Old Su and his wife, she found an excuse to start an argunt with Tian Aixiang. In the end, the two sisters-in-law ca to blows, flipping over the entire table of New Year’s Eve dinner and sending Old Su and his wife into a dead faint from the shock and anger.
Seeing Old Su and his wife pass out, the two sisters-in-law finally stopped. But after all the chaos, the Su Family’s New Year’s Eve at the main house was an absolute disaster. In the end, no one even got to eat dinner. It was a complete ss, but no one dared to go and provoke Su Qing again.

Then, the middle-aged woman put down the phone and hurried off to get him.
A mont later, a middle-aged man’s voice ca through the phone. "Little Yuan, you were looking for ?"
"Brother." Hearing the man’s voice, Li Yuan’s tone beca very serious. "Didn’t you tell that girl Su Qing was being worn down to nothing by the Old Su Family? How is that damn girl up and about now? Did you know she’s even beco friends with Li Huan? Li Huan is one thing, but if anyone else from the Li family sees what Su Qing looks like now, what am I supposed to do?"
Li Yuan’s voice was hushed, but her low tone was filled with a seething rage.
