My view changed in the blink of an eye.
The Sanctuary landscape changed into one with a village that was still nostalgic yet had developed even more since the ti I visited the second ti.
I teleported to Bohd Village in between the busy hours preparing for the ceremony.
The last ti I ca here, it was when we had just taken guardianship of Akane and Lulu-chan, so we went to Bohd Village to disappear from Volton just a little while. Now that I think about it, compared to that ti, Akane had lost all her reservations. Since we’re pretty similar age-wise, it was probably like she was treating like a brother.
The walls and gate beyond the village’s ans ca into view.
Since it would be bad if I teleport right in front of the gate, I teleported a slight distance away from the village, but I’m glad no one was coincidentally passing through the main road.
There were no visitors the first ti I ca into the care of Bohd Village, but now, there were those who visited for various reasons, so I was lucky I wasn’t discovered teleporting. I have to be more careful.
When I walked closer to Bohd Village, I saw two security golems standing imposingly at either side of the gate. They seem to be working just fine.
2.5m tall all-magic tal-made golem possessed enough strength to discourage those like thieves.
When I reached the gate, there was soone who I’ve never seen in Bohd Village standing there, and he called out, suspicious of who had walked here by myself.
「Oi! Did you co to this village by yourself? What is your reason for coming?」
「Umm, I ca here to et so of my acquaintances, but……」
I guess it was suspicious to be alone even as an adventurer. As I thought so, I presented my Adventurers Guild card.
「Wha! Pardon my discourtesy. Welco to Bohd Village.」
「Thank you very much.」
When the surprised gatekeeper who saw my rank saluted and let through, I ca to a halt as I was overco with strong feelings at the sight of people coming and going in the lively village.
The village which had newly erected buildings was full of life.
「Amazing…… can’t the small village in the borders that was Bohd Village now be called a town? 」
Stopping to bask in the mories, I grew curious about the small cabin I stayed at, so I went to look for it.
「Ohh! It’s still there!」
The small cabin I built and stayed in was standing on a plot of land, unchanged. For so reason, only this place was just like back then.
I was looking at the hut when I heard a nostalgic voice from behind.
「Oh my, isn’t that Takumi-chan!?」
I turned around, and there was Martha-san carrying bags in one hand, perhaps coming back from shopping.
「Martha-san, I’m sorry for not having kept in co-gofu……」
「Takumi-chan! I’m so glad you look well!」
In the middle of greeting her, I received a tackle-like embrace.
「By the way, where are Sophia-chan, Maria-chan, and everyone else? It couldn’t be that you fought, now did you? I don’t see Kaede either. There are others, too right? Takumi-chan, did you co back by yourself?」
「Wai- please wait a bit!」
I had to stop Martha-san’s machine gun-like accusatory inquiries, so she could hear my explanation.
「Oh my, sorry about that. I was so excited seeing you, Takumi-chan. Let’s go ho for now. Vanga would be delighted too.」
「Okay then, sorry for the intrusion.」
Since I ca to Bohd Village this ti to give Vanga-san and Martha-san a written invitation, I obediently agreed and followed her.
「Now, co in, co in. I’ll make you so tea.」
「Thank you very much.」
Vanga-san and Martha-san’s house which I hadn’t visited in a long ti wasn’t rebuilt, but they did place so fine carpeting and couch inside. It was proof that the once near-destitute Bohd Village had beco wealthy.
After talking to Martha-san for a short while, we heard the door slamd open loudly, Vanga-san ca back.
「Martha! There was apparently soone who looked just like Takumi in the village!」
「Dear, your voice is too loud!」
「That’s not it, Takumi is…… isn’t that Takumi?! Say it if you’re coming back!」
「Vanga-san, it’s been a while.」
Vanga-san approached in long strides and hugged , who had stood up to greet him, and patted on the back.
Vanga-san’s conveyed how he was truly happy to reunite with through his hands, and I also smiled happily.
Yep, Bohd Village is great.
I thought once more about how I’m so glad that the first people I t since coming to this world were the people from Bohd Village.
