The next place I showed him was orchard where many elves worked.

Perhaps because the Elf lty-san was in charge here, or because it was suited to their race, many Elves worked here.

Of course, lty-san’s two daughters lanie and Malorie were also working in the orchard.

That’s why I doubt Dante-san would have a problem here since many of his peers worked here.

If there was one problem, it would be that the person in charge of this area, lty-san, was a commoner. So I wonder if, despite being a Chevalier, the forr head of the House Sylphide would be able to work under lty-san.

I greeted lty-san, lanie, and Malorie, then we moved to the next area.

The next location also had many Elves.

There were also a few Humans and Beastkin, but it was mainly Elves.

This place was the workshop for woodworking, carpentry, and anything furniture related.

The Elves ability to live in harmony with nature such as within forests and trees and hone their abilities over their long lives was admirable, and that was no different here in the Sanctuary.

「So it makes good use of the Elves’ skills.」

「Yes. It’s not only in the Sanctuary, the Elven-made items are in great demand in Valkryra Kingdom and Lomaria Kingdom as well.」

「I’m afraid I have no experience with crafts and carpentry. I have done shoddy simple carpentry because we were lacking, but if I had to say, then it would be challenging to make an occupation out of that.」

「I see. Then I will show you to the next place.」

Well, I didn’t expect Dante-san would beco a carpenter or woodworker anyway. If anything, I just thought I should show him all the jobs we had to offer.

I couldn’t ask my father-in-law to train as a craftsman from the bottom up, after all.

The next place I showed him to was to a newly opened store that sold general items, clothing, and foodstuff in the residential district.

「It’s a general store, as they say. The population in the Sanctuary is increasing, so it is thriving quite well.」

「……the selection is better than at Sylphide.」

Dante-san said that, but I knew there were no stores in the Sylphide territory. I decided I should ignore Father-in-law’s attempt at putting on airs.

Freesia-san told that a monetary economy had yet to take root in the Sylphide Territory, as bartering was still the standard.

When the Sanctuary also first started, there was no monetary economy because of the low population and majority of those people were refugees escaping to the Sanctuary, so our maximum priority was to help them make a living.

The Sanctuary had since seen an increase in Elves, Dwarves, rmaids, and Beastkin. As such, there was an increase in tradable goods such as agricultural produce, crafts, and alcohol, and so, people were now able to earn money for normal shopping.

The next place I showed him to was the bowling alley.

「T-this is…………」

「It is a facility for a sports known as Bowling.」

Last ti Dante-san ca here, I don’t know if it was because he was always by Etoile or because he never went out of the mansion, but he did not know about this place. I heard Vault-san and the adventurers who escorted him to the Sanctuary were having fun in the gas room and bowling alley at the Lodge.

I explained to Dante-san the rules of the ga as he watched in amazent as many residents played bowling.

「They look like they’re having fun playing.」

「It’s popular in the Sanctuary. It’s also starting to spread to areas in with extra land to spare like Volton in Valkyra Kingdom. I believe Vault-san also played it last ti you were here.」

「Is that so?」

「Yes, that’s what I heard. And as for the job here, it entails waxing the lanes, maintaining the balls and pins, receiving the custors, and cleaning the facility.」

Once again, I’m not saying this is a job directed towards Dante-san, but he might be interested in bowling.

「Okay, shall we head to the next place?」

「Y-yeah……」
