Naruto habitually used Yang Release chakra to heal injuries, so he channeled his energy into Rin's body to keep her alive. It wasn't an instant recovery, but she barely escaped death's door. Her destroyed heart slowly knitted back together under the warm influence of the chakra.
A penetrating wound to the heart was life-threatening no matter how you looked at it, so the process required quite so effort. Any other dical ninja, even Tsunade, renowned as the absolute best among them, wouldn't have been able to achieve what Naruto had just done.
After all, Dan had died from a similar wound right in front of Tsunade.
Yang Release chakra was basically a healing cheat code. Naruto possessed passive health regeneration and the ability to actively heal others.
"Oh? Isobu, what are you doing inside this little girl's body?" Kurama's voice rang out. The fox had quietly opened the Tailed Beast channel to chat with the Three-Tails sealed inside Rin.
"Kurama. Long ti no see." Isobu voice belonged to a deep-toned, middle-aged man. Perhaps because his original form was a turtle, he spoke at a very slow pace. "Was it your jinchuriki who saved ?"
Chronologically speaking, Isobu and Kurama were separated by over a decade, but to the Tailed Beasts, a dozen years was just the blink of an eye or a quick nap. The two colossal beings communicated without any barriers.
"I... eat you!" A hoarse, childish voice interrupted the conversation between the two.
The Ten-Tails had started drooling upon sensing Isobu chakra.
It wanted Isobu handed over so it could devour him.
Feed Isobu to the Ten-Tails? Not a chance. Naruto wouldn't allow it, and neither would Kurama. Maybe because Isobu liked to lie motionless without starting trouble, his relationship with the Nine-Tails was surprisingly decent.
Kurama slapped the Ten-Tails right across the forehead. "Eat, eat, eat! What do you want to eat, huh? All you know is eating. Want to feed you a slap across the face?"
"Ugh-" The slapped Ten-Tails looked pitifully wronged.
Inside this seal space, it was the weakest entity present. Kurama and Goku were both terrifyingly powerful, so the wronged Ten-Tails could only quietly crouch in a corner, lying perfectly still.
"Either way, let's get her back first." Naruto looked at the unconscious Rin, planning to take her to the dical room. It wouldn't take much ti to make the trip.
*Bzzzt. Bzzzt.*
Just as Naruto was about to leave Roran, he felt a pulsing summons. It was the Box of Ultimate Bliss, it rarely took the initiative to communicate with him.
The sensation felt remarkably similar to a phone's forceful vibration mode.
"Summoning Jutsu!" Naruto slamd his hand down, and the massive Box of Ultimate Bliss materialized before him.
Since swallowing both Moryo and the Zero-Tails, the Box of Ultimate Bliss had undergone a major hardware and software upgrade.
It could now pass simple thoughts directly to Naruto.
A ssage echoed in Naruto's mind.
'Eat. Ryumyaku. Evolution.'
Three words total. Concise and precise, fully conveying its intent.
The Box of Ultimate Bliss wanted to consu Roran's Ryumyaku?
No way. Absolutely not. Naruto, having just discovered the miraculous temporal properties of the Ryumyaku, wouldn't casually let it be devoured.
Sensing his refusal, the Box of Ultimate Bliss grew anxious and transmitted another thought.
'Evolution. Obtain Ryumyaku Ability.'
This ti it was four words, just as concise, stating its aning without any detours.
"You an, if you eat the Ryumyaku, you can gain its power?"
"Could you cross ti and space with your own power then?"
'Don't just give so crap about how 'a miracle will surely happen.''
This ti, the Box of Ultimate Bliss took a relatively long mont to process the question before finally replying.
'Yes!'
"Good."
Naruto nodded. A portable teleportation tool was infinitely superior to a fixed warp point, but he still offered a stern warning. "If you can't do it, you know the consequences."
The Box of Ultimate Bliss, a giant, inanimate box, sohow projected the distinct feeling of nervously sweating a massive drop.
"Fine then. Eat it."
*Poof!*
With a burst of white mist, the Box of Ultimate Bliss activated. The relic, originally several ters wide, instantly began to expand, growing without limit.
'Bigger, bigger, good treasure, great treasure.'
When the box expanded to roughly the size of the entire Roran region, it stopped. The massive lid opened wide, completely engulfing the Ruins of Roran, and then slamd shut.
The Ryumyaku was swallowed whole.
The Box of Ultimate Bliss rapidly shrank back down, circling through the air a few tis before hovering next to Naruto. With the box contracted, the original location of Roran simply vanished, leaving only a massive, bottomless crater in the desert.
The artifact then began morphing continuously, displaying one bizarre form after another.
Naruto stared at it in confusion.
Because the object hovering before him could no longer be called the Box of Ultimate Bliss.
It was a door.
Not that it couldn't logically take the form of a door. It was just that this specific design looked utterly familiar.
Wasn't this an...
'Anywhere Door?'
'So does that an we should call the Box of Ultimate Bliss the Gate of Bliss from now on? Or maybe the Gate of Heaven?'
In another dinsion, Orochimaru, wearing his standard white researcher's coat, was staring at a monitor, his face filled with utter confusion. On the screen scrolled a string of data so dense and complex it made the head spin.
His fingers flew across the keyboard, pulling up increasingly complex data sets. After studying them for a long while, he muttered aloud, bewildered.
"How strange. How could the coordinates suddenly disappear? They were just here."
"Could soone have erased the spatial anchor? Or was that entire world destroyed?"
"Forget it. Worlds being destroyed is a common occurrence."
Having convinced himself, he drew a large red 'X' over the position marked 'Number Seven'.
*Bang!*
Just then, the laboratory door was violently kicked open. A white-haired man charged in and threw his arms around the Sannin. "Orochi, Orochi, I need your help!"
Orochimaru sighed, his expression resigned. "Jiraiya, I've told you. I'm working right now... Fine. Tell , what is it this ti?"
"I knew you'd co through!"
The white-haired Toad Sage instantly wiped away his fake tears and broke into a wide grin.
"Help woo Tsunade!"
Kakashi paced outside the dical room, his anxiety plain. He looked like an expectant father waiting for his wife to give birth.
Naruto ran into him on the way back. Kakashi had initially planned to greet him normally and head straight to the Konoha Forest to et Guy. But when the jonin leaned in close and saw the girl in Naruto's arms, he imdiately pushed aside his forehead protector. Uncovering his left eye, he activated his Mangekyo Sharingan just to verify if what he was seeing was real.
Once he confird the girl's identity, Kakashi, the perpetually worn-out man, changed completely. He beca intensely alert and full of energy, no longer listless or frail. He followed Naruto to the dical room and waited outside the doors, refusing to leave his post.
The door finally swung open. Naruto stepped out. The mont he appeared, Kakashi firmly grabbed his arm.
"Naruto, how is she? Is she going to be okay?"
Naruto looked at the panicked Kakashi. He briefly considered joking: 'Congratulations, mother and child are safe.'
Or perhaps: 'The situation is critical. We can only save one, the mother or the baby. Which do you choose?'
But he wisely held back the dark humor.
"You should be asking soone else about that," Naruto said with a helpless expression. "I'm not a dical ninja. I was just assisting. The one who actually treated her was Kabuto."
Naruto had only gone in to help stabilize her with Yang Release. He wasn't a professional surgeon.
Upon hearing this, Kakashi turned and grabbed Kabuto's arm, his expression eager and desperate.
"Kabuto! How is Rin? Is she out of danger? How's her condition?"
"Kakashi-senpai." Kabuto calmly pulled his arm free. "For the specifics, you should ask Sakura. I perford the surgery, but Sakura handled the final post-op treatnt. What I can tell you is that the procedure was a complete success."
Only after hearing those words did Kakashi finally rember how to breathe.
Kakashi turned his gaze. "Sakura!"
Sakura grinned. "Hehe. I never expected to see Kakashi-sensei lose his composure like this. This is the first ti I've ever seen you so frantic. It seems that girl is incredibly important to you."
Under Kakashi's anxious gaze, Sakura continued.
"Don't worry, the girl is fine and perfectly healthy. She'll be just like a normal person once the surgical wounds heal."
The sheer power of Yang Release was overwhelming. Not even a pierced heart posed a problem, even if it had been entirely destroyed, the chakra could grow a new one.
As Sakura spoke, she patted her own chest with a firm *thump thump*. Her eyes rolled slightly, and a teasing, slightly sleazy expression crossed her otherwise pretty face.
"So sensei likes this type of girl, huh?"
"I checked for you. Although she's still young, her physical developnt is quite impressive, "
"Ahem." After getting Sakura's affirmative dical answer, Kakashi let out a long breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. But after hearing the second half of Sakura's teasing, he coughed awkwardly. "She was my old teammate."
