Kurama, still holding his head after being punched by Goku, frowned. Sensing sothing was off, he grumbled, 'Damn brat, I feel like you're thinking sothing rude.'
Naruto hurriedly laughed it off. 'No way, Kurama, you're overthinking it.'
'Is that so?' Kurama covered the bump on his head. 'Naruto, are you really going to give him to That Thing?'
The "That Thing" Kurama referred to was naturally the Box of Ultimate Bliss, and "him" referred to the Ten-Tails.
'Otherwise, should I switch to you?'
Kurama imdiately put on a look of reluctance. 'What a pity, my little brother Robert. I will miss him.'
'Oh my God, you even gave him a foreign na? That's absolutely terrible.'
'Naruto, let's speak properly.'
'Okay!'
A sharp transformation sound rang out as the Box of Ultimate Bliss morphed into a giant sphere, engulfing the still-dazed Ten-Tails. Yet Naruto couldn't shake the feeling that the object resembled a certain red-and-white sphere like Pokeball. It even imitated the famous capture ball, shaking twice with a heavy thud before going completely still.
"Now the energy should be enough."
Naruto patted the Box of Ultimate Bliss, no, it should be called the Sphere of Ultimate Bliss now? The sphere nodded in a very human-like manner, and the next second, it turned back into the shape of a gate.
"Let's find a familiar world for our first trip, to give everyone a demonstration." Naruto pushed open the gate. With a slow creak, the door swung inward, revealing a swirling vortex that stretched across the entrance.
"Parallel World Gate open."
"To the Chosen Children of the world!"
Naruto thought of the classic line and shouted it out, stepping through first. After all, what kid hadn't dread of becoming a Chosen Child and adventuring in the Digimon? It was just a pity that his gate didn't lead there.
Sasuke and Neji followed close behind. The remaining Akatsuki mbers exchanged glances, then stepped through one by one. As the last person crossed the threshold, the gate compressed, descending axially before shrinking rapidly and vanishing.
Those who crossed felt the scenery shift instantly, from night into night again. But this ti, the moon overhead wasn't bright. It was a blood moon.
Naruto stared at the crimson sky, caught between familiarity and strangeness. A long howl echoed through the heavens, and a colossal beast appeared, nine tails trailing behind him. Naruto knew that figure well. He hugged the fox's furry body to sleep almost every day.
The Nine-Tails. Land of Fire, Konoha Village.
So. His soul transmigration took place on the Night of the Nine-Tails Attack. He supposed it brought things full circle.
"Wow, is that the Nine-Tails inside you, Naruto?" Deidara's sharp eyes caught on imdiately. He shaded his brow, squinting up at the beast. "He really is huge."
"Even though they're both Nine-Tails, the one inside isn't the sa." Naruto patted his belly. "Our Kurama isn't as scrawny as that one."
Indeed, whether in the vibrancy of their fur or the developnt of their bodies, the two couldn't be compared. If Naruto's was a buff fox, this world's Nine-Tails was severely malnourished.
'Let see! Where is another ?'
Kurama, inside the seal, watched his counterpart rampage through Konoha through Naruto's eyes. 'Truly worthy of . Just my appearance alone scared these Konoha ninja shitless.'
Before he could praise himself further, he saw his counterpart get brutally stabbed right out of Konoha by the Third Hokage's staff.
"Feels pretty weak."
Kurama imdiately changed his tune. "Why did he perform so poorly? That definitely wasn't . The Nine-Tails of this world is far too weak."
'Getting stabbed out by re humans is truly disgraceful. Other , you're kicked out of the group.'
The Third Hokage wasn't known for taijutsu, after all. The Nine-Tails shook off his disorientation and scrambled back up. Once he recovered, he opened his massive jaws and fired a Tailed Beast Bomb straight at this world's Konoha!
If that landed, Konoha would be devastated, possibly destroyed.
A golden flash streaked across the sky, intercepting the devastating attack mid-flight. A massive toad descended from above, pinning the other Nine-Tails, who had just fired and was already preparing a second blast, flat on his back.
"Stabbed by a human just now, and now crushed by a re toad?" Kurama watched from the Sealing Space, his eyelids twitching. He stomped his foot in rage, pointing at the other Nine-Tails and shouting, "Naruto, what kind of broken world did you choose? My reputation is ruined in one stroke. Next ti, rember to pick a world where I am stronger."
Was there a possibility he really had been that weak back then?
*Roar!*
This is still Nine-Tails, after all. How could he be compared to a re toad from Mount Myoboku? Soon, this world's Nine-Tails roared back to his feet. But this ti his eyes had gone blood-red, with several tadpole-shaped tomoe spinning within them.
"Look! It's the Sharingan!" Deidara shouted, pointing at the fox's eyes as if he'd discovered a new continent. "And not just a normal Sharingan, it's that... what was it, the weird thing with patterns?"
"The Mangekyo Sharingan," Sasuke corrected. "It's a level above the Three-Tomoe Sharingan. An eye only a select few can open." He turned to his friend. "Naruto, I want to go take a look at Konoha."
"If you want to go, then go." Naruto nodded, then addressed Nagato, Konan, and the others. "What about you guys? Want to go have so fun in Konoha?"
He intended to go himself, of course.
"Not interested." Hidan yawned, sounding thoroughly bored. "This world's about the sa as ours. Too boring. Change it, change it. Let's switch to a more interesting one next ti."
Deidara threw a tantrum like a spoiled child, just short of rolling on the floor.
"It was only ant to be a demonstration, after all." Naruto spread his hands helplessly. Deidara acted more like a child than he looked.
"If I recall correctly," Nagato spoke up suddenly, "the previous Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was your mother, wasn't she, Naruto?"
"With the Nine-Tails being released at a ti like this, plus those Sharingan..."
"She must be in danger. You should go too, Naruto. I know you don't have much love for Konoha, but... so things still need to be done."
"Everyone, let's just wait here for Naruto for a bit."
"It doesn't matter. We have plenty of ti anyway." Kisa spread his hands to show he didn't care, then sat down on a rock and started wiping down Sahada. Though Kisa's greatest interest was maintaining his blade, as long as it hadn't made any obvious mistakes, he still had to clean it carefully.

Naruto and Sasuke set off together, sprinting toward Konoha. Sasuke headed toward this world's Obito, while Naruto made his way to where Kushina would be.

Minato stared gravely at the masked man before him. "Who are you?"
After diverting the fox's attack, this world's Obito had sought out the Fourth Hokage again, blocking him from dealing with the beast further. He had no intention of answering Minato's question. He simply shrugged.
"Even if you can warp away one Tailed Beast Bomb from the Nine-Tails, can you do it a second ti? A third ti?"
"Or even a fourth or fifth ti?"
With Kamui, Wood Release, and the Nine-Tails at his disposal, this world's Obito was certain of victory. Even facing his forr teacher, he felt entirely confident. What was so great about the Flying Thunder God Technique? His Kamui was Space-Ti Ninjutsu too.
As for Kushina dying when the Tailed Beast was ripped from her, Obito didn't care. If the Eye of the Moon Plan succeeded, they would all wake in the dream world, fully resurrected.
The two clashed again, but this ti the goal wasn't to snatch the baby. It was a true head-on confrontation. The instant they t, this world's Obito realized how wrong he'd been. Whether it was battle instincts or fighting style, he was nowhere close. Even having similar abilities and a stronger physique ant nothing. In just two exchanges, a Rasengan slamd him into the dirt. If Minato hadn't been in a rush to reach Kushina, this world's Obito would have been flayed alive, assuming he survived at all.
The next mont, Minato shook him off and appeared beside Kushina with the Nine-Tails.
"Tch. The Fourth Hokage lives up to his na." Obito climbed out of the dirt, brushing himself off, his tone dripping with reluctance. His Hashirama-cell physique ant taking a Rasengan head-on had only left him with minor injuries.
"So you were behind it all." A cold voice ca from behind Obito. He spun to find eyes burning with absolute rage. More importantly, they weren't in the standard tomoe form, but a more complex pattern. Mangekyo Sharingan. "So it's because of you that the Uchiha were ostracized by Konoha."
Sasuke believed the Night of the Nine-Tails Attack was the primary reason his clan had been cast out. While it wasn't the sole reason, it was a major contributing factor.
"And you participated in the Night of the Clan Massacre. So you're the source of it all."
