Moreover, even Decision had said it was a "substantial" increase, so the boost must have been significant.
But to be fair, the class best suited for this card is those who play the tank role in the team.
At this ti, the deputy T warriors beside him had already started calculating their contribution points.
And they all regarded each other as rivals, eyeing one another with disfavor.
This wasn’t the first ti such a situation had occurred; after the cards were distributed, everyone would beco brothers and sisters again.
"According to the real-ti battle code, participants have the priority to bid points for cards dropped on-site,
and the captain will designate the priority class and set the starting bid points."
After the card had passed through everyone’s hands, it was temporarily collected by Decision.
The card rules of Blue Star are slightly different; as long as it’s not bound by equipping, cards support trading.
Without a doubt, he designated the main class as Warrior, with Fighter and Thief as secondary classes.
Then he set the starting bid at 100 points, but if Fighters and Thieves wanted to compete with Warriors, they would need to offer 1.2 tis the points.
In other words, this card’s value was at least worth 100 contribution points.
Contribution points, determined by regular participation in defending against monsters and other tasks.
If the Warriors present, or Fighters and Thieves offering 1.2 tis the points, do not want it, then all the participating Guards will bid for it.
After acquiring it, whether to give it away or sell it is up to the winner to decide.
If there are still no takers, then it will be confiscated.
Exchanged for a set ratio of contribution points, it will be divided equally among the participating Guards.
"100 points."
One of the deputy T shield warriors raised his hand, looking determined to win.
"105 points."
But soon another shield warrior joined the bidding.
"110 points."
A third shield warrior.
After several rounds of bidding, one shield warrior had already dropped out of the bidding.
Only two shield warriors were left competing, and those Fighters and Thieves barely joined in a few bids before they dared not continue, as 1.2 tis was too expensive.
"155 points, once."
"155 points, twice."
"155 points, thrice."
"OK, I declare this[Ice Thunder Mammoth]belongs to..."
But before he could finish, he was interrupted by a strange cry.
[Kah~~~~]
The sound was loud, causing the eardrums of everyone present to tremble.
Everyone followed the sound and saw a mammoth, several tis larger than the one before, as if it appeared out of nowhere, standing in front of the Hospital’s main gate!
Aside from it, there were four more mammoths following behind, nearly indistinguishable from the one they had just slain!
"BOSS level mammoth!"
Soone exclaid in shock.
"All! Summon all personnel here imdiately!"
Decision’s face went through a rapid change of expressions.
Upon hearing this command, soone instinctively wanted to object.
Because calling all personnel ant leaving all other directions unguarded.
You must know that at this very mont, battles were taking place elsewhere.
But on second thought, it indeed had to be this way.
Other monsters could be temporarily ignored; they wouldn’t be able to deplete the Hospital’s energy right away.
But if these mammoths with their massive bulk were allowed in, they could probably devour all the energy in just a few minutes.
For the still operational Hospital, this was untenable.
Moreover, energy sources weren’t the only targets of the monsters.
Guards were also their targets, and perhaps even with a higher priority.
Even if they really had to run, those Guards with higher agility might be able to escape.
But classes like Healer, Controller, and Sorcerer with lower agility would definitely not be able to get away.
"Shield warriors, follow ! Use skills to pull the monsters!
Healers, keep your eyes on individual targets!
[Red Shield]!"
While others were still hesitating, Decision had already taken the lead with a[Charge]heading straight for the enemy.
[Kah!!!]
The Boss Mammoth, as if it had been waiting for a long ti, directly swung its trunk down.
Crackle and pop!
Powerful electric brilliance sparkled in the air, the strong wind pressure felt by Decision even before it hit.
Confident in his activated skills, he didn’t dodge or flinch.
"[Warrior Strike]!"
He swung his glowing yellow sword directly at it.
-103
The trunk hit first, dealing high damage to Decision.
This damage figure made those at a distance gasp for air—90% of them didn’t even have a hundred health points.
-12
In contrast, the damage dealt by Decision seed quite pitiful.
However, the main purpose of[Warrior Strike]was to increase the monsters’ aggro towards oneself; the damage was secondary.
(A hundred points of damage, not bad, not too high.
I have nearly 500 health, even without 50% damage reduction I should be able to take two hits.)
Looking at his health points, Decision started calculating internally.
The mammoth’s attack power was high and swift, but the frequency of its attacks was very slow.
Between each strike, there was enough of a gap for our healers to raise his health above the safety line.
However, Decision had overlooked one problem.
That was, since he was now standing at the very front, he would have to face not just this Boss.
But also its four other Little Brothers!
At this ti, the other shield warriors were too far away to attract aggro in ti.
[Chomp!]x4
So almost simultaneously, four trunks slamd down.
-61, -59, -58, -60
In an instant, Decision’s health dropped below 30%.
In desperation, he looked back.
The healers and other shield warriors were still unable to reach him promptly.
And the second wave of trunk attacks from the other side was coming quickly!
Even if he could dodge so of it, the remaining health of less than 200 would not withstand it.
"It’s over, I’m done for."
His heart was filled with desolation at this mont.
Buzz!
Yet, just then, a light suddenly descended upon him.
[Chomp!!!]x5
Including the Boss, five trunks slamd down, but three of them seed to bounce off sothing before they could even touch him.
Unlike the red numbers before, this ti a series of white numbers sprang forth.
Crack, crackle!
There was the sound of sothing breaking, and then only the remaining two Little Brother trunks hit him.
Buzz!xN
The healer’s supportive healing arrived, quickly lifting Decision’s health above 300.
"Captain! Are you all right?"
"Captain, I’m coming!"
"[Clown Face]!"
"One each!"
Other shield warriors, seizing the opportunity, individually drew aggro from a mammoth.
"Strange, I seem to be okay now."
Decision stood there, stunned.
But a new crisis was still looming.
Before, it was practically him alone taking on that mammoth the whole ti.
But now these shield warriors, whose levels, equipnt, and skills were all inferior to his, taking on a mammoth each was certainly very dangerous.
Even if they could hold their ground, the pressure on the healers would be imnse.
All in all, this battle was still extrely grim.
However, just then, a hunter suddenly pointed to the Sky Realm.
"Look, what’s that?!"
Following the direction he pointed, everyone looked up.
In the night sky, a green fla teor was rapidly approaching.
Another monster attack!
They were already in great peril dealing with these mammoths; adding another monster would only accelerate their defeat.
Bang!!!
With a sense of resignation, they watched as the teor fell behind the mammoth horde.
[Roar...]
A human-type figure made from huge round stones slowly stood up, its body enveloped in raging green flas.
"Hellfire!"
"Mama mia, is that Hellfire?"
"This Hellfire is way too big!"
"Another Boss, dammit."
Just by its stance, it seed stronger than the mammoth.
We’re done for.
That was the thought in everyone’s mind at this mont.
A Boss with a bunch of minions was not enough, and now another even stronger Boss had arrived.
Are they even supposed to be playable anymore?
"Wait, this doesn’t seem to be a Boss?"
But quickly, soone saw the na above Hellfire’s head.
Like Guardians, monsters also had nas above them.
The na of this Hellfire was: [Horned Mage’s Summoned].
It appeared that the real Boss was the Horned Mage.
If the creature it summoned was this imposing, how fearso must the original be!
"Call for reinforcents."
At this ti, the look on Decision’s face was as grim as can be.
This level of threat was not sothing they could resolve.
It would probably take the Head Captain to handle it.
