The card ga unfolded exactly as Ree Shil had anticipated.
Although the Lizard-man examiner used an all A-Class Deck, Ree Shil had one as well.
But his card combinations were more logical; his tactics, more aggressive; and his cards, generally of better quality.
So, in the end, he achieved a seemingly close yet utterly suspense-free victory.
"Congratulations, you have now qualified to join the Red Rock Council."
As soon as the ga ended, the Lizard-man adopted a much friendlier deanor.
Just now an outsider, now he’s one of their own.
"I will take you to et the Vice Council Leader now.
You may choose to join imdiately or continue with the assessnt to achieve a higher position."
"A higher position?"
Ree Shil was taken aback by the words.
"Indeed,"
The Lizard-man nodded: "A higher position ans higher internal authority within the power.
For you administrators, it ans extra benefits when earning points."
"Oh?"
Of course, Ree Shil was tempted by the prospect of bonus points.
Thus, he was quickly brought before another Lizard-man.
This Lizard-man appeared younger and was more robust in stature.
The aura of a superior being he exuded was nothing like that of the previous assessor.
The older Lizard-man respectfully explained the situation to his peer before leaving the room.
And before departing, Ree Shil received an introduction as well.
The Lizard-man in front of him turned out to be a genuine God Replacent.
Just like the na of the power suggests, the ultimate leader is the God of Red Rock.
And he is the God Replacent of the God of Red Rock.
"Welco, new administrator,"
The God Replacent was quite polite.
"I would like to continue with the assessnt,"
Ree Shil did not mince words.
"Oh? Are you sure?"
The Red Rock Substitute showed no sign of surprise.
In fact, most administrators who made it to his presence chose to continue challenging.
"I’m sure, bring it on."
Ree Shil had already approached the card table.
"Very well, as you wish."
The Red Rock Substitute smiled and took his place at the table.
Since the establishnt of the Red Rock Council, in fact, no one had ever passed the assessnt of this Vice Council Leader.
The reason was simple: the card tables they used until now had always been specially made.
Actually, he had witnessed the entire card ga through remote surveillance just before this.
As the saying goes, knowing your enemy and knowing yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; it was not difficult for the Red Rock Substitute to prepare a targeted card deck.
He admitted, the opponent’s Summoning Card Group was fierce.
But with prior awareness, there was no lack of counterasures.
And so, the two sides entered the fray.
With the decks set, the Unveiling Stage was upon them.
This ga still shared the Scene Card [Red Rock Territory]; that was the case for all card gas within the sphere of the Red Rock Council.
"Take this."
The Red Rock Substitute took the initiative, revealing his three first-line cards.
[Buzz!]
The card on the far left depicted a human-shaped shadow engulfed in flas.
Its body and arms were unusually elongated, its head was sharp and pointed.
It lacked legs, resembling the genie of legend.
[Silent Fire Spirit]
Withered, 50 points, A
Attack 0, 200/200, 0/7
[Life Fla - Talent]: Silent Fire Spirit’s attack power -50, maximum health value 100
[Friendship Fla - Passive]: When allies’ cards exit the field, Silent Fire Spirit gains an additional 1 energy point
[Violent Fla Seed - Passive]: For every 1 energy point Silent Fire Spirit has, it gains an additional 10 points of stackable attack power
[Fire Energy Pouring - 7 Energy Points]: Silent Fire Spirit attacks a target, dealing 100 points of [Fixed Damage]
If one were to say which card type among the thirteen classes counters the summoning style most,
Then it would undoubtedly be the Withered card.
Because second-level summoned creatures exit the field easily, and exits charge the Withered card.
Normally, in a card ga, due to the fixed number of cards, the amount of energy a Withered card can recover is also fixed.
This constraint was a shackle for the Withered card that lacked automatic recovery ans.
If it had been a normal situation, the [Silent Fire Spirit]’s abilities would have hardly co into play.
But facing the summoning style was different; theoretically, the Withered card could have unlimited energy, allowing it to display its full potential.
"Starting off with such a high-scoring card, huh,"
Ree Shil raised his eyebrows slightly.
Additionally, he noticed sothing in common between both Red Rock people’s card decks.
That is, they had a particular fondness for cards sacrificing attack power for higher health values.
Those types of cards can’t be said to be bad, but they have pros and cons.
If you carry too many, you’ll end up lacking offensive power.
[ow Roar!]
The projection of another card from the Red Rock Substitute featured a giant cat creature.
It had the head of a feline beast, but the muscular build of a gorilla.
[Cat Ape Beast]
Determination, 30 points, A
Attack 30, 160/160, 0/3
[Huge Size - Talent]: Cat Ape Beast occupies 2 card positions in one line, maximum health value 60
[Bullying the Weak - Passive]: When the Cat Ape Beast attacks a target with lower health than itself, attack power 10
[Fondness for Cleanliness - 1 Energy Point]: Cat Ape Beast performs [Defense], gaining [Coating] effect
[ow ow Dominating Fist - 3 Energy Points]: Cat Ape Beast attacks two targets consecutively, granting itself [Domineering Body] effect
This card was balanced—capable of both attack and defense, mastering both [Coating] and [Domineering Body], with [Coating] even coming at a bargain.
The recent string of targeted plays had Ree Shil wondering if he had returned to the regional competitions, facing a counter card to the Sheep God.
But this card player, though known as the Red Rock Substitute, didn’t seem to favor Red Rock cards as the previous old Lizard-man examiner did.
Nor did he have cards immune to or reducing [Ignition].
