Now reading: Chapter 622 - 222: Strengthening the [Stone Monkey] from Sorry, But I Never Rely On Luck When Playing Cards, a Game novel by Fried Egg With Orange.

Currently, his Kung Fu Deck, Sword Card Deck, and Summoning Card Group are the three sets he has, with the Summoning Card Deck being the least complete.

He doesn’t even have a full 6 1 set yet.

So this ti, Ree Shil focused more on drawing summoning cards in the Way of Balance.

For example, in his first Ten-Thousand Card draw, he drew 1B2C2D.

That 1B was a summoning card.

The card’s projection was a white-clothed lady who looked quite scary.

She had ox horns on her head and a pale face.

A long red tongue hung out of her mouth, reaching all the way to the ground.

[Long-tongued Trickster]

Breaking force, 30 points, B

Attack 30, 100/100, 0/3

[Demon Air - Passive]: When the Long-tongued Trickster directly attacks a normal creature card, the damage dealt is 10

[Tongue Lick - Passive]: Long-tongued Trickster’s attack has a [Drag] effect

[Resentnt Curse - 2 Energy Points]: Long-tongued Trickster summons a Back Spirit behind the target

([Drag]: If there is an empty card slot directly in front of the target, force it to [Move])

[Back Spirit]

Balance, 10 points, D

Attack 10, 50/50

[Unforeseen Backstab - Passive]: Back Spirit takes -10 damage from friendly direction, 10 damage from enemy direction

This card may seem like a ghost card, but it is actually a demon card.

And having the [Drag] effect attached to its attack is quite rare.

[Drag] and [Knockback] have an inverse relationship.

However, compared to [Knockback], [Drag] is more likely to take effect.

That’s because for a card to be [Dragged], all it needs is an empty card slot directly in front of the target.

Whereas [Knockback] requires an empty card slot directly behind the target.

Of course, depending on the specific situation, the concepts of directly in front and directly behind can be interchangeable.

It all becos clear once it’s on the table.

This [Long-tongued Trickster] is a breaking force summoning card, which is relatively rare in summoning card decks.

So it has a certain degree of output capability.

This can be seen from the increased damage of [Demon Qi] and the priority of [Drag].

Moreover, the D class card it summons is also quite interesting.

For example, [Long-tongued Trickster] uses [Drag] on an enemy card A, forcing it to [Move] from the second row to the headline district.

Then, in the empty second-row card slot, a [Back Spirit] is summoned.

Now, it’s difficult for A to clear the [Back Spirit] since it has 10 points of damage reduction.

But A’s teammate, which is the enemy’s End Row Card, deals extra damage when attacking the [Back Spirit].

Also, when it cos to summoning card decks, there are always related auxiliary card decks.

In the Elite Battle of [Second Gate Five], Ree Shil also got a pretty good summoning auxiliary card.

The card’s projection is a giant orange-red crystal that can fire crystal beams as an attack thod.

[Rune Crystal]

Balance, 10 points, D

Attack 10, 100/100

[Broken Traction - Passive]: When the Rune Crystal exits, it allows an ally’s Determination summoning card to imdiately release its summoning skill without consuming any energy.

The requirents are quite strict - when exiting, and then it has to be a Determination summoning card.

Actually, Ree Shil’s idea was to fuse this card with [Ghostfire Boy].

[Ghostfire Boy] self-destructs, clearing 1~3 card slots, and then triggers an ally’s no-consumption summoning once.

With that, it would be perfect.

However, it’s a pity that both [Ghostfire Boy] and [Rune Crystal] are not gold-edged cards.

So they can’t be fused for now.

He doesn’t plan on upgrading this [Rune Crystal].

After all, it’s only a 10-point card, and upgrading it wouldn’t make much difference.

Moreover, upgrading it might hinder its future fusion with the [Ghostfire Boy].

However, to collaborate with this card, Ree Shil chose a Determination summoning card in the subsequent Ten-Thousand Card Pool.

The card’s projection is a green-shell turtle. Its face and head are painted white, adorned with a wig and a fake red nose.

[Comical Turtle]

Determination, 30 points, C

Attack 30, 100/100, 0/2

[Turtle Shrinking Wellness - Passive]: Comical Turtle gains 10 points of [Healing] when [Defending].

[Clown Funny Egg - 2 Energy Points]: Comical Turtle chooses a card slot and summons a [Witty Egg] in one card slot.

[Witty Egg]

Wisdom, 0 points, D

Attack 0, 30/30, 1/1

[Funny Ghost Face - 1 Energy Point]: Witty Egg selects a target, causing it to fall into [Taunt] for 1 round.

([Taunt]: Forces the opponent to use a direct attack to attack itself)

Honestly, there is so degree of conflict between Determination cards and summoning cards.

Because most second-tier summons, especially low-point second-tier summons, are mainly used as shields.

Since they’re acting as shields, Determination cards naturally can’t take the opportunity to regain energy.

So the [Clown Funny Egg], which only requires 2 energy points to activate, may seem like it’s easy to release consecutively.

But in reality, it’s basically impossible to achieve.

"But at least with the existence of [Rune Crystal], I have at least one free [Witty Egg] to use at the bottom."

"It’s just that this [Comical Turtle] needs to be further strengthened."

"Otherwise, its power is a bit low, and it won’t perform very well on the card table."

So he lay down on the bench and closed his eyes to preview.

About ten minutes later, he sat up.

"This turtle card has a pretty high fusion compatibility."

Looking at the dozens of results, he nodded.

"Don’t show this unserious [Turtle Jelly]."

He skipped so unreliable results and finally settled on one of them.
